Always love it when you react to Ramin! He’s my favourite actor and voice in musical theatre. And he’s so wonderful as Jean Valjean! I get chills hearing him sing the Les Mis songs.
I think one of my fave performance of Ramin singing this song is actually the encore performance with Colm Wilkinson. Ramin was hugely inspired by Colm to pursue theater so it was such a special moment
@marisam7560 have you seen the encore performances of the 25th anniversary concert? If you haven’t, you absolutely should. Colm, 2 of the London Jean Valjean singers and Alfie Boe, all sing Bring him home together. It’s incredible!
He was very ill at one point while he was doing Les Mis. And those early parts are so hard to do with that quiet tone. Together it's pretty impressive he was able to get this out this well.
Hands downs the hardest part of this (impossibly difficult) song is the soft parts. In the story it’s a soft prayer. It *has* to be quiet and that’s SO hard to do, it’s bonkers nutso hard to sing at the edge of your range *quiet* This song is the BIGGEST flex for tenors it’s SO HARD doing pianissimo way up that high for a man’s range?? That’s nutso insanely difficult. He’s singing quietly at the very edges of his range that NUTS
I believe there was at least once during one of his runs with Les Mis that he was pretty sick. Maybe this was filmed then and didn’t want to strain himself too much.
I'd love to see you react to him singing Bring Him Home with Hadley Fraser! It's funny but also sounds ANGELIC, especially considering they didn't really rehearse it lol! It'd also be amazing if you reacted to Ramin singing Til I Hear You Sing from Love Never Dies!!
It's always men who sing this song so i hope you could check out Lea Salonga's version of this song from her recent Royal Albert hall concert uploaded by Aj Castillo.
Hey Audrey. Could you please take a look at “In my head” by Jacob Ryan Smith and Daniel Mertzlufft featuring Andrew Barth Feldman and Joe Serafini??? I just think it’s incredible and something you’d love to react to. Thanks❤️❤️❤️
If I could sing like him, that’d be better than having all the money in the world. Andrew Lloyd Webber made sure the Phantom would have a rock star quality voice as well as the primary broadway voice. His head tone, range and his natural vibrato is so good. It’s weird but listening to him just makes me cry because it’s so good. I know that sounded goofy.
My Jean Valjean will always and forever be Michael Burgess who I saw on opening night at the Royal Alexandra Theatre in 1989 where he performed the role 1,000 times. My greatest honour, however, was seeing him perform for the song live in 1992 at a Stars on Ice Show while Kurt Browning, the 4 time Canadian Figure Skating Champion skated around him.
I know everyone drools over Ramin... but to me his voice is just "pretty" and doesn't suit this song. Colm's voice has this purity of tone on every note that mirrors Valjean's purity of purpose in this prayer to God that just - chef's kiss - elevates his version right up there to heaven. Colm is the only singer on this song who can make me cry every single time.
To be fair, there's a huge difference between this performance and what he does in the actual role. That said, I agree about Colm. He IS Valjean in my book!

He is the best.
Ramin is my all time favorite male Broadway star
He’s my all time favorite male vocalist ever.
For someone who had no formal voice training when he started his career, he really does an excellent job.
Be assured after so many years in the business he has received formal training....
If I was unwell and sounded like him, I would be quite happy!
I love that this is the "subpar" version of him -- wish I could sound like that when I'm sick! Haha. Love love love him.
Always love it when you react to Ramin! He’s my favourite actor and voice in musical theatre. And he’s so wonderful as Jean Valjean! I get chills hearing him sing the Les Mis songs.
Same!
ahh yess! more ramin reactions pleasee!

Saw Colm in London with Roger Allam as Javert - superb the pair of them.

He Was Perfect.

Have you touched on the fact that POTO is coming off Broadway? It's over now, the music of the night. 🥺
His Valjean is so good.
Please do a Vocal Coach Reaction to Ramin Karimloo "Music of the Night" at the London Palladium ❤
Ramin likes to do country style when not on stage
Kristin Chenoweth sings this - excellently - on her album Coming Home. She said that as she chose it she's going into therapy! 🤣
Gives me chills
My favorite rendition is Colm Wilkinson, doing “bring him home”. Please review him next!
Such an incredible performer/singer

End the saga of the musical?? Because there is still songs to react to from the movie 🤩
It's always men who sing this song so i hope you could check out Lea Salonga's version of this song from her recent Royal Albert hall concert uploaded by Aj Castillo.
Would love to hear you reacting to Ben Lewis his voice is just exquisite. ❤
I love Les Mis. I would love to see you do Michael Ball's "Stars". One of the best!

Listen to Austin Brown’s version!!!! It’s amazing❤️
Sometimes you just gotta accept the raspy phlegm and go with it…
Please raect to Broken from Ramin and Hadley!
baby girl was sick in this
Have you reacted to Hugh Jackman singing this song? You should check it out. I highly recommend it.
He was either not feeling well or too early in the day. Also, the way he is slouching on the stool. No energy.
You need to react to hocus pocus 2 song
You're right, he didn't come in correctly on "high" and "prayer" - intonation a tad too low.
Yeah, you should react more live songs. That's how real talents show up, and also the flaws... not those artificial super edited videos of TV shows.
Have you reacted yet to Jonathan Freeman's Villains Medley?

I love this

You should do Josh groban and Kelly Clarkson singing All I ask of you from Phantom
Have you reacted to Austin Brown's version of this? It was much better.

Me too… Honestly,? Me too… He has that warm tone that just does it for me… Especially on that last note… Nobody sings the word “home“ the way he does!
To be fair, there's a huge difference between this performance and what he does in the actual role. That said, I agree about Colm. He IS Valjean in my book!
