Hi Brita; I love how you've allowed the sewist to "graduate" from easier blocks (Harlequin block) to a more challenging one with the upcoming Disappearing Harlequin. And I also appreciate your showing us these same simpler Harlequin blocks not only in different layouts, but also in optional colors (3 colors/RWB, scraps/multicolored, and 2-colored/blue & white). Those were all nice and appealing, but these upcoming Disappearing Harlequin layouts - Oh my! I can't wait to see them. At first glance I liked #1 because it had a more familiar look with pinwheels, and it has some nice movement, but then I thought, "there are plenty of patterns for variations of the pinwheel that I already have". Alas, #2 has too much movement for me - perhaps if it was done in 3 colors other than RWB - just too much red here for me - maybe because I'm just seeing a solid red, and a patterned red might be more appealing. Then I saw # 3 and ahhhh, it became my first choice because it gives a soothing place for the eyes to rest - even with (I'm assuming) the same amount of red. It's interesting, pretty, and the layout is a nice change from others I typically see everywhere. Yes, I'd love to see a pattern for #3. Thanks for letting us all vote. First I have to come up with the pattern (that isn't even included in the 100 hours). I then make a sample with the chosen fabric, (which is pre-washed and pressed). If I don't like it, I make a new one (I have already started on next month's design and I didn't like the fabric I bought for the design and had to start over with different fabric). All the cutting, sewing, script writing, filming, editing, etc. takes me a huge amount of time. The places that make multiple videos a month have professional teams. For example, for the filming, I have to set up the camera and computer, click record, run around to the front, try to remember my lines, mess up, run back and stop the recording. Check the script again, hit record, run back to the front, and repeat. Plus I have all the rest of the things I do with my business, lectures, classes, etc. And don't even get me started on all the time I spend with my grandsons. Thanks for letting me know!
I do love your videos - told all my quilting buddies about you!!
You are so kind. That is one of the highest compliments that you can give. Thank you very much. 😘😘
I like layout one the best.
Thank you for voting.
I always say start with the simplest pattern, then wow us when you rearrange the pieces. But none of these look “simplest”, somI’m probably no help! But I love your videos, so keep them coming, please!
LOL. I have trouble deciding also.
I’m always so excited to see what you come up with each month. And the third image of the disappearing Harley Quinn block is my favorite!
Thanks a bunch! I am so glad to see you every month. 🥰🥰💕💕
Cover vote- 3 !
EDIT: Changed mind after looking a few times- #1 (I think I heard you call it Design A) is now my choice ! They are all amazing.
It is so funny that you changed your mind. It is like me, I like one, but then when I look again I like a different one. Thanks so much for sharing this instead of just changing the vote.

I vote layout 1.
Thanks for letting me know.
Thanks for another great video! I love these harlequin blocks. My favorite disappearing version is A. Did you teach over the summer in Exton? I thought I saw your name
Thanks, I am glad that you like the block!
I was in Exton in last month. I gave a lecture and workshop at Calico Cutters in July.
@@QuestioningQuilter I work across the street from where the workshop was. I was so sorry I couldn't take the day off to attend, I would have loved to!
@@tatianapertzoff5943 So sorry you weren't able to make it. I know it is tough with the day guilds.
But, on Saturday, Nov 19, 2022 I will be giving an in-person lecture at Quintessence Quilters in Shillington, PA. It is about 40 minutes from Exton, but since it is a Saturday morning, maybe you could make it. Let me know and I can give you all the details.
@@QuestioningQuilter That would be great!
@@QuestioningQuilter I'd love details. It looks like it's about an hour from me, depending on traffic.
