I agree about the bonus layout. I kept it to the end because if it was made with other colors it could work for any time of the year. Thanks so much!!!
You got it! Christmas in July it is! That viewer actually the top of the table runner already and it looks amazing. I love how my viewers can take something that I thought of and take it even further. I have the best viewers, thanks so much!
WOW! Love the 2 color tree layout best. Yes, I'd like to see more Grecian square disappearing blocks. Yes, Christmas in July quilts are the best. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks. I think that all the disappearing blocks are almost like multiple worlds. One for each type of disappearing block. I think Christmas in July is going to be an annual event.
I like your teaching method. I like your staggered tree/ the green and white. To me the way the right side climbs makes the tree look taller with light filtering through.
Thanks for letting me know. Looks like everyone agrees with you, so I will make it so (sew ;). It makes me very happy to hear that you are enjoying the videos. 🥰🥰
LOL. A woman after my own heart. Too much is never enough. I think I need to stick to one holiday video per year. I can only do one a month and there are just too many designs. Although.... A lot of the disappearing blocks would just look good in red, white and green.
The last layout is my favorite because of the groupings of squares that show so strongly. And I think you should keep disappearing blocks of all kinds so as to keep our brains tickled! 🌺
I like it a lot too. Thanks for letting me know. I almost didn't include it because it wasn't very Christmassy. Thanks for letting me know that I made the right choice.
Another fabulous video. Whether you do Christmas in July or Christmas at Christmas time it'll be great. Thank you again. Super videos with no nonsense. Love them.
You are amazing. You are an excellent teacher. You explain each steps so well. I would love to see a disappearing churn dash. I really like the idea of Christmas in June. Thank you so much for sharing your talents.
You are so sweet. Thanks so much. I am glad that you like my style. I will add the disappearing churn dash to the list and will definitely be on the lookout for another Christmas/holiday quilt for next July.
Thanks! I hope that you aren't "pining" for the next video and won't "needle" me to post the next one early. I'd tell you how much I love your comment but I don't want to seem too "sappy". 🤣🤣🤣
Wonderful! And easy with only a middle cut. I'm OK with Christmas in July or Christmas nearer the day. I suppose July would be better, because then we have the time to make everything.
I was hoping to capitalize on the fact that they are coming out with the Christmas fabrics now. I am so happy that you like it. I hope that you weren't blown too far away. I want you to come back next month. 😉
Your videos are so simple to understand and I love how easy the quilts are to make. Christmas in July or anytime is fine with me. I just want you to continue to share your amazing talent. Thank you
I like Christmas in July. I’d also like to see some disappearing churn dash quilt blocks. It’s so interesting how much the disappearing blocks change with the layout.
I like your imagination, also I like these types of videos. Gives me a chance to check my stash before making one. I like # 3 the best. Thank you for sharing your talents with us.
Thanks so much. I am very happy that you let me know that you like the last layout the best. I always fight with myself about how much extra content to add and if it is worth showing the other options. Since you liked that best, I am glad that I included it.
Oh my gosh! That is so flattering to think that my little video has helped to inspire you. There isn't any higher praise. Now the pressure is on to make sure the next design is up to this standard. Yikes! 😥😨😥 LOL
How Escheresque! 🙂I know by "Bar" block, you meant rectangles, but I could not help but flip the verbal image, thinking of this design on the wall of a bar (tavern), which had me imagine these drinking patrons trying to look at the upright trees, then upside-down trees, getting rather dizzy and falling over. That's when I saw this was so like M.C. Escher's tessellations. I was also amazed to see how well the small red and small white squares lined-up without gaps. Oh, and like many others, when I see holiday craft ideas in November, my first thought is 'no time.' Thus, June would be my vote. (Why do people think that July 25 is halfway between Dec 25 and Dec 25? June 25 is closer to halfway. Hmm. Maybe it sounds cuter.) July is much better than November. Thank you, thank you.🙏
I love that visual image of the drunk bar patrons. Thanks so much for sharing it with me (and everyone else reading this). I am glad that you like the idea of Christmas in July. I think Christmas in June would interfere with the end of school and all the graduation parties. I think July is so hot, that people are looking forward to the winter. Happy Quilting!
Thanks for another wonderful video and great disappearing block. I appreciate the different layout options you give. I'm happy with holiday quilts anytime of the year. And I'd enjoy seeing a disappearing churn dash block.
So glad you like it. I agree that holiday quilts are so much fun, I think I am going to make this an annual summer tradition. I will add the Disappearing Churn Dash Block to the list.
Thanks so much for watching and letting me know which layout you like the best. It helps me when deciding what sorts of layouts to highlight in the future.
I like everything you offer! It makes me smile to see how creative you are! Makes me think of different variations to your variations! Christmas in July works for me.
That is great! I am hoping for my videos to get people thinking about additional variations. Yay!! I believe that two of the most powerful words in the English language are "What If".
I like the idea of Christmas in July as it gives time to make the quilt. As always you do a wonderful job showing the different layouts, it always makes me think of new ways to shift my projects. I like the green/white version the best. Also you look very nice in this video, I like the new haircut!
I am excited to think that I am helping you to find new ways to layout your designs. Woot Woot. I think Christmas in July is going to be an annual event. Thanks for the compliment. I like my hair short for the summer, it is much cooler.
You are so fantastic, and your information is top-notch! I seriously hope you have a book in the works. This is something any quilter would be blessed to have!
I am so happy that you like the information. I have started work on a book and am currently researching publishers. I am thinking it would be best to divide the book into different starting blocks. The first one would be 100 or so Disappearing Hourglass quilts. Thanks for the encouragement.
@@QuestioningQuilter I especially like the way you pay attention to whether a design is friendly to precuts! That's going to be so useful to so many sewists. I predict you will be very popular as a sewing guru someday.
@@Marialla. I certainly hope so. Thanks so much for the encouragement. It is support from wonderful people like you that give me the motivation to keep going forward. I can't thank you enough.

I love this and would love you to do this every July!! Thank you so very much and I'm going to make this quilt. It looked so difficult until you break it down. You give us the confidence to do these quilt!!!
I think I like when you give me ideas about 6 months in advance. It gets me planning to see if I could do it. I still work diluting so I need more time to prepare and sew. Those who aren't working may not need that time. A year is almost too much. So if I saw this in November I would just say "it's pretty" and move on. If I see Christmas now I might think about "how could I get it done before Christmas". But whatever you decide I'm now a faithful watcher.
I think they are going to but "Always Behind" on my tombstone.
