Thanks for the update. I am still running and training exclusively with my G19 Gen 5. I’m up to 2000 rounds and no issues. The only mod I made was change out the factory night sights with Trijicon HD and found I can acquire my front sight quickly. My shooting skills have improved by focusing on this one gun. To rotate, I picked up a new G17 Gen 5 as a home defense and set it up the same as the G19. Both shoot the same and I can continue my training. I have enjoyed following your progress with your videos of your One Gun.
Good job sticking with it brother. I picked one to really train with and it's made a big difference in my shooting in a small amount of time. I don't think I could do it for year though but it does seem to make shooting more enjoyable.
Absolutely Great Video and wonderful content and Info ! I'm Glad it's gone Well for you through 5'000 Rounds . Training , Training, Training ! And lots of Ammo , that's What I believe to becoming proficient with your Firearm can do to make you a better Shooter . And A reliable Firearm never hurts in getting better Also ! I've loved my Gen 5 G-19 very much , but the Slide is very Slick , looks nice , but Slick . But I Trust it , and do most of my Training and Practice with these models... Thanks J. 👍👍
Good info. I just bought a 19 gen 5..I admit I'm a Glock fan. I own 2 Sigs P229 in 9mm one is the SAS and the other is enhanced elite. Like them both, but I end up taking my Glock 19's to the range. It's because that's what I prefer to carry 19 or the 26.Most of the time it's one of my 19's Always enjoy your informative video's, keep them coming.
Respect man. Nice video. I like my G19 but I'm going to get better with the Sig platform that I like better thanks to your X-Carry Vids. Hopfully we see a P356 in your mits soon.
good stuff! As a glock gen 5 carrier I am very happy to see project 1 gun is still going strong without any big issues. You must really be itching to dive into some other guns lol
I’ve had similar results ! I have moved on to the 19 gen 5 mos pretty much going to run it the same 5k rounds or so . Gen 4 mos platform has been a solid performance piece. Finding gen 5 a bit more accurate in all distance targets . I am very happy with glock because they’re starting to listen to us , the gen 5 new line up of pistols has proven that! Or the competition is on there heals taking market share away. K
I find this interesting and it has me thinking as well about doing something similar mainly just because it makes sense. Just don’t know if I would chose the same gun, I would likely go with the 19 gen 5 MOS though.
Man, I want you to do the PX4 compact shooting review, with the competition trigger. I’m on the fence whether I should buy a competition trigger group or not. Regardless, I have been shooting more my PX4 and have become more accurate. Same with my G 19.
Just hard to beat the classic and versatile g19. I like the 19X the best out of my glocks but I also love my ppq M2 5” and cz p01. If I could only keep one 9mm it would probably be the g19X.
Following your videos, I’m trying to figure out if I should buy a G19 now as a do it all or get a G34 and buy a concealed carry in a 6 months when I live in a free state again.
I really don't have much of a preference. The Gen 5 is supposedly slightly more reliable, but I've never had a real issue with Gen 3-4 reliabity or the finger grooves. I also have a ton of Gen 4 parts and sights lying around. I usually get blue label guns which is why I've been using the Gen 5. Both Gen 4 and 5 are with 10$ of each other with their pricing scheme.
I like your video... But instead of 2 guns, one for range one for carry. Why not just get an extra holster that will cover the slide so you don't burn yourself. Just a thought
I've used one, I carry iwb so there is heat sink either way. Also doesn't prevent the wear and crud build up. Thanks for the idea though. Probably with enough care it could be done.
@@jhelmsing I think a big reason I can do it, even after running 250+ rounds, is the aiwb holster I use is an incog Haley strategic... Which is super thick for that carry position.
No failures? What about when you snapped your back sight off because you had a round stick in the chamber? I would call that the king of failures. Why are you saying it hasn’t failed?
Yeah I think the 'my gun is better than your gun' stuff is pretty silly. I'd be willing to guess that a lot of those who always stay in that argument back an forth don't hardly shoot anything even on a 'infrequent' basis and further are the ones who say so often 'well I have this gun but I need to do something to it because it doesn't shoot well...' The reality is no dude. It's not your gun that doesn't shoot well, it's you, lol. Lot of bullshitters basically.
I applaud you for sticking with it!
You guys are everywhere
Richard Perez cheers!
Hey man I just want to say I really enjoy and appreciate the content and information you put out!!! Keep up the good work!!!!
Really enjoy these project 1 gun video's ,thanks for doing them. subscribed

Nice video! Carrying my Gen 3 19 as I watch this.
Great project! Looking forward to updates.

Brother the struggle is real. Especially based on some of the other guns I've purchased lately.
Love my vanguard 2 on gen 5 works perfect. Great video
They just try to make money o. New gen 5 holsters lol
Another great video thanks!

My one gun is the Beretta 92 I love that gun so much

I have the 45 such a sweet shooter
As the old saying goes”beware of a man with one gun. He probably knows how to use it.”
I love the Raven vanguard 2 I carried my 26 and my 19 with one forever
Following your videos, I’m trying to figure out if I should buy a G19 now as a do it all or get a G34 and buy a concealed carry in a 6 months when I live in a free state again.
Tough choice... But you know I'm going to say get both and carry the 19 ;)
@3:15 or just use both hand-held and wml 🙌🏼
You would love the 19x J.Helmsing
Can't tell you how many times I've been this close 👉👈 to buying one.
@@jhelmsing something about it man. The balance of it. I love the 19 as well. They did something to the trigger on that X. It's real nice.
Would you buy a gen 4 g19 to use as your 2nd Glock or would you buy another gen5 ??

What sights you running ? Thanks
Ameriglo bold with the lime front sight.

Have you stopped carrying your X Carry?
I have been carrying the Glock 19 since July.
Can the Ameriglo Bold Sights be purchased?
Yes, but only through Glock. They also carry a premium because of it.
Less talk shoot shoot shoot!!!!
No failures? What about when you snapped your back sight off because you had a round stick in the chamber? I would call that the king of failures. Why are you saying it hasn’t failed?
It was an ammunition malfunction as the root cause, although plastic sights are a terrible idea. I did count the three ammo malfunctions in the recap.
This report will make all the Glock hater trolls very upset
I think you completely let the point of this video go over your head.
