"None, None shall find me! Seekers of The Storm! Face my divine rule... and crumble...!" hearing 1:03 and those lines during the reveal trailer is something that stuck with me and further solidified my love for the risk of rain series, thanks for continuing to make peak.
Chris dont miss is a saying for a reason I swear your music is like 50% of the reason i play ror2, i just cannot get over the rain formally known as purple
Not even half the album is out yet and it's easily some of the best work you've done. Just got round to pre-ordering and I'm so excited for the full release! Just wondering if you'll be doing another album commentary? I always love to hear your thought process and inspirations :D
I love the leitmotifs of "double fucking rainbow", "your gonna need a bigger ukelele", and "precipitation" while not too sure about precipitation it's amazing how you have composed a song that has feint story telling from 1 to 2 I can't really even put into words how insanely good this track is love your work.
This might be my favorite work you've ever put out, you never miss. The slow melodic build up to the drop, and then the heavy loud guitar strumming accompanied by the higher electric screaming -- dancing between long somber notes and ecstatic twirls. Building up, you think it'd end but it just doesn't, it keeps going for so long. Getting more and more intense and more hyper in a way I can't describe, it feels like a tribute to Coalesence. masterful work.
My favourite track of all dlc OST. The fast pace and grand feeling of this plus how fast and deadly False Son himself is.. Just great, it's been a long time since i was so excited about a boss fight
Every single song off this DLC is an absolute banger. More than once i had to stop while playing and just listen. I cant think of any game I've done it this much as i have in RoR2. The game is good enough on its own, but it would never be as great as it is without your music.
Was just playing A Tempestuous Noise of Thunder and Lightning Heard on loop while studying, and just listened to this. This better be stuck in my head during the test. That solo is....... really something to behold, thank you.
Details that remind me of past songs (excluding having fallen, and placid island) 2:10 i like how the instruments change here for the island motif, reminds me of like chanson, terra pluviam, nocturnal emission, etc 3:25 Very reminiscent of that one part in Antarctic Oscillation, you know the one. 3:44 Right when the solo wraps up, that distortion reminds me of the end of coalescence.
Chris, your music means a lot to me and you have been my top listened to artist for the past few years. Keep doing what ur doing because it's working! This is a banger soundtrack already
Idc if the boss fight is too hard, not a hardcore fan, but the 2:28 part going along the phase where you are SO near to death is such a thrilling experience. Your life depends on the few columns there are and if you're not tactical (or not fast most of the time) enough you get slapped by that defeat screen so hard that mithrix could see your shame from the moon. idk that last phase is what gets me actually, gearbox added a lot of reviving stuff which kinda helps but it's still really hard. you can't really bruteforce your way out of this one, it's kinda like mithrix but the arena is much more smaller and the false son just bombards you with his attacks all the time. golems are buffy too and I actually like that you need to activate geodes to reset the lunar spike debuff. I'm probably talking too much about the game itself and not about the theme lol. This theme is perfect, I can't imagine it the other way, Chris you didn't cook... You burnt the whole planet in the best meaning possible. Now I'm wondering if you're gonna contribute in the ror franchise once again or somewhere else to cook even better. please keep it up, your music is electric
Only just listening to the Seekers of the Storm OST with the release of the DLC. I had to turn up the music to 100 because WOW! Incredible job as always.
This piece is something else. Couldn’t help but just gawk at how incredible it was during every attempt my friend and I made at fighting the False Son. Every. Single. Attempt. Bravo Chris, you never fail to impress.
ive been learning how to play some of these songs on the drums! (rain formerly known being first on my list) and ngl this shit is hard but I love it! Also I wanna do video game soundtrack creation and you inspire the hell out of me!! Good work as always!
This is the crown jewel of the most impressive series of soundtrack artistry I've ever experienced. You have inspired me for over ten years now and you only get better. LOUD INCORRECT BUZZER
She risk on my rain till I busting fungus
* EEEERRRRRRR *
she...seeking on my ror til I storm?
she risk my rain til i Seekers of the Storm
When the game is broken but the soundtrack is peak
Honesty so confusing
I haven’t seen a game pull that off before
ARK is the other example I know by heart
"None, None shall find me! Seekers of The Storm! Face my divine rule... and crumble...!"
hearing 1:03 and those lines during the reveal trailer is something that stuck with me and further solidified my love for the risk of rain series, thanks for continuing to make peak.
I can only expect this level of Quality from you, Chris. Fucking banger.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for the support!
Chris dont miss is a saying for a reason
I swear your music is like 50% of the reason i play ror2, i just cannot get over the rain formally known as purple
Been seeking this storm for so long
Not even half the album is out yet and it's easily some of the best work you've done. Just got round to pre-ordering and I'm so excited for the full release! Just wondering if you'll be doing another album commentary? I always love to hear your thought process and inspirations :D
hello i love your videos
I want to do one for this but it's a hard one to talk about for various reasons.
@@AstronautDown Ah, I see. Thank you for replying anyway 🙂
The GOAT of OSTs strikes again
This is like a Mashup of Placid Island of Ignorance and Having Fallen, It Was Blood. It is also awesome. Can't wait for the rest!!!
Chris its everywhere
[ 2:28 ] Congratulations, Chris, you made me release my rage fury on the boss and also made me slowlly ascend to heaven with this banger.
Another banger 🔥
My favourite track of all dlc OST. The fast pace and grand feeling of this plus how fast and deadly False Son himself is.. Just great, it's been a long time since i was so excited about a boss fight
Every single song off this DLC is an absolute banger. More than once i had to stop while playing and just listen. I cant think of any game I've done it this much as i have in RoR2. The game is good enough on its own, but it would never be as great as it is without your music.
Imagine if this amazing musician made music for deep rock galactic
Crossover of the century
Was just playing A Tempestuous Noise of Thunder and Lightning Heard on loop while studying, and just listened to this. This better be stuck in my head during the test. That solo is....... really something to behold, thank you.
Details that remind me of past songs (excluding having fallen, and placid island)
2:10 i like how the instruments change here for the island motif, reminds me of like chanson, terra pluviam, nocturnal emission, etc
3:25 Very reminiscent of that one part in Antarctic Oscillation, you know the one.
3:44 Right when the solo wraps up, that distortion reminds me of the end of coalescence.
Chris, your music means a lot to me and you have been my top listened to artist for the past few years. Keep doing what ur doing because it's working! This is a banger soundtrack already
Thank you ❤
This makes a bad day go away ~
Excellent work Chris. Thanks for blessing us with your work
chris you were the goat of this dlc.
thanks for being so good, we all appreciate you!
like i can't help but to cry to your music , it's literally phenomenal
This pierced directly into my soul. The solo had me twitching, open mouthed, and wide-eyed.
I love what you do, Chris. Kepe it up
Ooooohh yess
The solo at 2:28 gave me such goosebumps that I don't think I will ever get to experience again.
FIGHT TILL YOUR LAST
Just bought the soundtrack. You're great Chris
Thank you Chris i have been starving for some peak 😭
It’s such a blessing to have you on-call for this soundtrack. You nail it every time. Thank you for all your work, incredible stuff.
I don’t know how I managed to comment this on the wrong track the first time, but I had to right my wrongs 🥲
Actual peak one of the best soundtracks yet
1:37 subwoofer go brrr
ive been learning how to play some of these songs on the drums! (rain formerly known being first on my list) and ngl this shit is hard but I love it! Also I wanna do video game soundtrack creation and you inspire the hell out of me!! Good work as always!
holy based me too these songs are so much fun to play
Easily my favorite ost you've made, you're one of the musicians of all time! Keep up the amazing work!
Lets hear one more masterpiece, to be remembered in our dreams.
This is the crown jewel of the most impressive series of soundtrack artistry I've ever experienced. You have inspired me for over ten years now and you only get better. I play the games just to listen to the music. Congratulations. What a solo, what a song, and what a career. I dream of making songs like this.
