Fun fact: Oṃ Maṇi Padme Hūṃ was originally intended to be 4 parts, but Chris said he ran out of time to figure out the 4th one. Edit: For those wondering where I got this from, Chris said this in a reply to my comment on the video for Oṃ Maṇi Padme Hūṃ Part I.
that’s really interesting seeing as each of the three parts is meant to be one of the parts that made the false son, i think providence being part 1, mithrix being part 2, and auerlionite being part 3. I wonder if part 4 was going to be the false son’s “true” theme of sorts, or the most original to him which ended up being too hard to make on time.
The DLC may be kinda mid and super buggy, but Chris just keeps pumping out banger after BANGER with every OST and this one is no different! Mad respect for even ATTEMPTING this stuff man 😅
Fun fact: "Oṃ maṇi padme hūm̐" translates to "I am the jewel of the lotus", and is a Sanskrit mantra associated with Avalokiteshvara, the bodhisvatta of Karuṇā (compassion).
finally! seekers of the storm's gold! love the tracks of chris chrisdoudolou forgot the cry of the gull's and yane no mori are my other favorites but the first place in this dlc goes to om mani padme hum part III also love the vids you drummaster !
damn a song title that is challenging even to write on a pc lol i can thank myself for my custom keyboard so i can write Oṃ Maṇi Padme Hūṃ without copypasting stuff
@@bennie1079 I can't really understand what you wrote, but the thing in question I'm referring to is called "Alt codes" and is a very useful thing to know. For example, for Germans, code alt+0228 gives a umlaut ("ä") and alt+0246 gives o umlaut ("ö").
@@anusaukko6792 There's both a German keyboard layout that has them (which sucks. "ü" key is to the right of "P" key) and default Qwerty layout with system language settings that makes alt+a give you "ä" and alt+o giving you "ö" etc. The trick's more useful for people studying abroad and borrowing a friend's laptop for a moment. You're not gonna change the settings just to write a quick e-mail and stuff, you just use the alt codes. And if you're in law school, alt codes like alt+21 ("§") are useful.
I vividly remember starting up seekers of the storm on launch day to be greeted with this BOMBASTIC soundtrack. Part 1's meter change from 7 to 6 had my jaw dropped to the floor. Id absolutely check out Id should build the man a statue on the same record.
Reading the chat, to the person who mention jazz + epic guitar, you might enjoy the genre of fusion and especially some of the works of Frank Zappa (Inca Roads, Black Napkins, the Roxy & Elsewhere album).

Dang..
WHAT NOOO WE COULD HAVE HAD ANOTHER BANGER, GEARBOX HAS CURSED US!!
bro's trying to cope with the changes from 7/8 to 6/8 and back is fun to watch,
I think it's 7/4 to 13/8, which makes it even worse
Risk of rain ost trying not to have absolute bangers (challenge impossible)
Dont go listen to the music for the Hostile Worlds trailer lol. (I dont think Chris wrote it)
@@frogmouth07 He didn't lol

The 13/8 to 7/4 time signatures of part 2 are just crazy. Brain hurty trying to follow the transitions

Makes a lot of sense considering False Sons origin lol

Imagine making a custom keyboard instead of learning alt+numpad numbers for every letter, smh. /s
@@LordDragox412yo what does the numpad give different types of numbers than the numbers in the top?

i remember starting up seekers of the storm for the first time and getting yamcha'd by the title screen (i play on consle)
This song has my favorite comment on all of RUclips. Someone commented “Chris this is good shit” and Chris responded saying “I know.”

Does anyone know what drumkit he uses?
