I agree completely, I've seen multiple bass player ratings on line calling people like Flea the best of all time. Let's see if Flea could cover note for note the song "Why" either the 10 minute or 13 minute version. It is a literal Bass clinic that even Geddy Lee, Geezer Butler, or Steve Harris would not want to touch with a 10 foot pole. 😂
Just wanted to tell you how much I love and listen to your bass covers of Uriah Heep. Over here in the US people rarely know who they are sadly. They never got much airplay. So it's like my secret band that I listen to every day. And the bass really stands out even more than the other great musicians. I have all their albums on vinyl (the originals) and am glad to see other Gary Thain and Uriah Heep fans out there. Keep doing what you do!
Gary Thain was much like another legendary guitarist named Mick Bolton who did not realize how good he actually was. Gary Thain was a monster bassist, that is for sure.
Hi Hristo only You know how difficult it is to pretend Gary Thain. I mean what you do in heavy Exercise Gary played "left hand" I adore his genious feeling on basslines never heard before. By the way Lee Kerslake, his drummer died last week or so on cancer. Tribute on sinas drums or sina doering google it its an amazing girl on drums. Uriah heep will never been forgotten your work does a lot to this, thank you again. Keep on !!!

Gary was a Master on melodious Bassin all before and after was crap.
The band would never have been as good without him. Added so much to their music.
