Really enjoying this series on your ZAU Dan, the engine is a similar design to my ZTU, it's valves are in the block rather than the head, no push rods, and the blocks are cast in pairs, I guess it makes for fewer moving parts. Mine has a couple of stuck valves, your videos are very helpful, I appreciate you filming and posting this engine overhaul, it'll be great to refer back to when I start working on mine, probably next year. Thanks and best wishes. Peter. 🇬🇧🚜
I have our ZA that dad brought in 51 I think. A 4 row mounted corn planter and 4 row cultivator. Need to get it running again will leave it in its work clothes. Thank you for making the video.
I have listed them in a few of the videos when I remembered to do it. Let me know what you are looking for and I will give you info on where to get the part you need.
are all MM Z's a basket case lol buddy bought one cheap 4 jugs later its still burning water we cant find a good set of jugs let alone some one to work on them

That motor is quite interesting. As meant to in my last comment I had never seen a motor like this one. So it's all new to me. Great video.
Thank you, very interesting engine
Looking forward to seeing the rest of the process. At least you know what's going on in there.
I am facing the same decision. Everything has been gone through. Now I have to decide if I wanna paint it. Good winter time job in Wisconsin.
I have always thought these engines were cool in there design. I’m looking forward to seeing this rebuild progress! 😊
You could really hear the rain coming down.
What a strange engine.
Its easier to get the jugs off if you take the rod caps off and pull them with the pistons still in
I love me a nice Babbitt bearing
INTERESTING ENGINE
You had commented that you would put parts sources in the description. Did I miss that?

Thanks, I’ll check your other videos as well.

If I was younger and in better shape I would buy it just for sentimental reasons
