Thanks for watching! I collect everything Minneapolis Moline in the "thumb" of Michigan. With my father and my sons, we have close to 50 MM tractors and quite a few implements. Watch as we use, repair/maintain, and play with our tractors and equipment.

Finished Ford 100 and A Few Stories
Great video love seeing the old iron and machines still getting the job done
Your walking around showing all that stuff and it will get sold for scrap iron when dies like all your tractors that you don't use weekly
It may be plugged in but it still looks cold.
never seen one with a cab?
Just read a claim the other night that when a 2010 came into a shop, all the mechanics ran out the back door.
Fantastic video Dan. I absolutely love those old machines. Nothing today even comes close to those old timers. Marty is a very talented guy and what a collection. Thanks soooo much for bringing us along.
Great video, thanks 😊
would love to see that monster work the fields
Great video thanks for sharing
Awesome
Have you ever heard of twist farm machinery in East Troy wi?Gary does not advertise at all but he has a lot of unique stuff. He has a 2255 that needs some love I'm sure he has some MM tractors around. Definitely worth a look or a call
@@Oliver880-eg8sz I do not. Sounds like someone I’d enjoy visiting with
@molinedan definitely go look him up. He used to be a mainly a combine salvage yard. He's kind of a weird duck.
Fantastic video Dan, very interesting to see the machine shop. Great collection of tractors too, I enjoyed seeing the Massey Ferguson Super 90 too. My eldest son, who's coming to the show in August with me, works for our local AGCO MF/Fendt dealership. The Oliver was awesome, thanks for taking us along. All the best. Peter 🚜🇬🇧
That's an awesome tractor.
Moline Dan. You talk about Karma .back in 90 ,91 time frame got Cockshutt 50 from neighbor it basket case needed radiator and engine parts , grill put add in farm paper ( no Facebook, Internet, Ebay) guy wanted it working off the farm ,farming and Family Life was more president so I sold it never looked back.
318 HP and you will hear every one of them!!
@@HonestAbe703 I’m gonna have to go back in the spring with the drone to video some field work with it.
@ well, you may need a co-pilot!!
Definitely cool! You will have to video that tractor working in the field sometime!
👍👍👍👍👍
Sure revved up nice in your video.
Definitely have more power to it now
That’s a rare tractor!!!!!
It's really neat those old time machine shops. We have a guy in Medford WI that we depend on and they do amazing work for us too . Really enjoyed checking in with you today.
Dan, nice job on the woood splitter. Enjoyable video. Thanks
Not many electronics on those machines.
just the "on" switch.
@@molinedan lol
Had 1 when younger,,open station platform
Would have been neat to know you were going over to Marty's I'm about 10mins away from him and ya it's amazing what they can machine we've had them work on a couple things for us and we use to tractor pull with him and his dad and man the pullers they had were very impressive tractors
I'll be back there in the near future.
That is one cool machine shop. These old school shops have something in them that feels like home. Very interesting collection as well.
I like it
👍
What’s the story on the tractor with the cab outback
@@garymeyer1162 project for the future
Would like to see you put a support bracket on log spltter valve
That is a very cool log splitter Dan, would love to see it work.
Dan,neato, I’ve wondered why you had a trl axle under a 3 pt on the end,now I see,not a bad idea , Thks!catch ya on the next !
You will wonder how you got along without the portaband .
Big MO is an awesome tractor still love to see it all its glory all fixed up maybe a restore like the super A deal with some kinda go fund me deal just a thought. Thanks for sharing always enjoy you making everything better American pride
That gear box was about all the Big Mo wanted to lift.
That big more tractor always sounds like it's none dry on hydraulic fluid
I remember growing up and dad finally built a log splitter that we could hook up to the hydraulic on the ih 856 since it always started easy during cold months lol I loved that thing sure beats an axe and splitting maul
I have a German shorthair as well… lunatic is a good word for them 😂
Nothing like farmer engineering. Farm tested
Consider some expanded flat metal for those shelves on the splitter. Won't rot and will de-ice.
What is the name of the buds?
@@johnkissack5295 Lytmi is the brand. I forgot to put links in description. They are there now.
A little worried you used brass fittings on your log splitter, will they be able to handle the pressures from your hydraulic pump, would hate to see someone getting hurt if the fittings fail
What's Nicklas building ? I hope I spelled his name right
It is actually Jacob that has the project. It is his college senior project. Kinda a secret sorry. It will be revealed when its done.
I recently had to repair my log splitter too. My hickory handle broke off. Haha!! Got it all fixed up now and ready to go. GO BIG MO!!! Press on nails?? Really?? Makes your fingers nice and purdy....
Yankee ingenuity😉
You are the bestest. Thank you 😊
Hey Dan I'm really enjoying this project, thanks for sharing it with us. I'm looking forward to seeing the bores being done in the other two, also can't wait to see Marty's collection. This is a great channel, I love watching every video. All the best. Peter 🚜🇬🇧
Hey Dan- I recently picked up an M5 that has been converted to an alternator/negative ground. Have some weird electrical stuff going on and I'm not sure that the alternator is hooked up right. Looked like the U302 in this video has a similar alternator. How is yours hooked up? I just have 1 wire out of the small connector on the back of the alternator going to the voltage regulator, then out of the regulator directly to the coil; and then the main charge wire going from the alternator up into the dash (I assume to the ammeter which is also not working).
@@travislarson3852 I can try to show my U302’s alternator set up in a video
@molinedan thanks!
I know that gasoline engines production had just began a few years prior to the design of this engine but dang it is a bizarre layout.
This is hopefully not the way m m did this from the factory , as a guy who has overhauled many engines, this looks like a good way to scratch the crank putting the head and pistons in . Just saying this is pretty crudely done.
