- Today's NASCAR Heat 5 Setup will focus on Homestead Miami Speedway. We will focus on Cup but also discuss adjustments for Xfinity and Trucks with a focus on stability and tire wear over a full fuel run. For that the setup needs to be balanced such that the RF and RR tires wear at very similar rates. Driving style is always important so focus on being smooth on both steering and pedal inputs to minimize speed loss and excess tire wear.

Hey Knee Pit. I really love your setup vids, but I have one question. How could I make a faster lap time in the trucks? I run around a 33.1 with this setup, but I need to be running at least 32.4s in order to get a top five for my career... realistically, I won't be able to run that, but i could use some help getting somewhat faster. If this helps, I like a tighter, more controlled car like you.
Really good setup, even better tips. I dropped the wedge/front weight to fix some drag in the center, also raised the RR a pound. Love the tighter sway bar paired with the track bar settings, i don’t know how these guys are out here running there sway bar at 1.435 lol

i just want the truck setup lol. I am short on how much time i can race so will it be fine if i just copy this for the trucks which im currently at? I come from F1 so this is a totally different experience than im used to
It’s really tight I’ve tried letting off early but the ai carry a shit ton of speed and I’ve tried breaking but that slows it down to much any suggestions
From my personal experience, I usually take an extra % out of where he sets his wedge at all tracks. So if he says 52% I start at 51 and tweak it
can we get all of the tracks set ups? your set ups are exactly the way i like my set ups
At this point I've done most all of them. Road Courses are missing because I do not enjoy them with Heat physics. It just feels awful.

Test session. I've seen people in online races with those test cars but idk how.
This setup was fast asf but loose. I had to take a about 5 rounds of wedge out. Luckily it didn't hurt the speed but it helped the handling.
If it was too loose then you would have had to add wedge not take wedge out. Typically for me these setups are tight and I have to adjust a little to fit my driving style better.

Try lowering the front weight and wedge a little.
