They shouldn't have released it as a seperate game. Just made it DLC cause that's all it is. I'm looking forward to 6 coming out as 4 was a huge improvement over the ai and physics challenged v3. I'm with you though, they intentionally put no effort into 5 and fans that didn't do their research before buying must have been massively disapointed and rightfully so. If Valve did this with Half Life the gaming world would have a meltdown.
They're moving off the Unity engine after this game, and these games normally come out 2-3 months after right now. I think they basically rushed this one out to try to get money to help the move to the new engine and to have more money for the new game on the new engine next year.

Whats new: Cup series cars, Xfinity cars, Truck Cars, Dirt Tour Cars, Kyle Larson didnt not appears, Matt Kenseth takes Credit One Bank, McDonals, Number 42, Some racers liveries.
The developers basically have a master file that they copy once the game is released, when they build next years they simply make tweaks, update the paint schemes, drivers, schedules, race names ect. Maybe touch up the HUD, add a new sound track and maybe a few other small hardly noticeable tweaks and boom it's a new game.
I haven’t seen this talked about anywhere but when I do a race on NH5 and need to pit with tires it freezes prior to coming into the stall. If I pit for gas or damage repair it doesn’t do that and if I’m online it’ll disconnect me from the server.
Oval car racing that looks at it's very finest! Nothing wrong between both of them. Expert controls and just scored a copy of it in my Aussie backyard! Very happy racer!!😎

After watching this video I just realize that NH4 and NH5 are almost the same game, the only "Big Difference" that I can see is the new 2020 paint schemes in NH5 but all the other things like graphics, damage and sounds are very similar, so I'm gonna buy NH4 just because is cheaper and it's practically tha same with NH5... I will buy another Nascar Heat game again until we see a big improvement... I'm gonna skip NH5 definitely

Last one I got was NASCAR Heat 3, and I see nothing has changed (AI didn't have tire wear, you think I'm gonna get the next one after that?) Hasn't been a good NASCAR game since 2006. Which is really sad.

Does your pc version have a framepace issue? Mine says it's 60fps but the shadows jitter and the motion blue gets wonkey when getting up to speed. Framerste doesn't feel smooth either even though it's stays at 60. Had the same issue with 4 but 5 seems worse.

I decided to buy nascar heat 4 last year, first nascar game I've bought/ played in years. Hadnt finished it yet and found out recently that 5 came out, I didnt realize they came out back to back like other sports games. But im glad to know that 5 is just another copy though.
There are similarities, but the big difference is the paint schemes.. for that alone it was worth it. They also worked out the A.I.better for 5. Not so much wild shit going on..

How is it possible that there's no damage model in either games!?!? They continue making "simulations" leaving out the most fun part. And I'm not talking about just randomly going the opposite direction, I do want the damage model to be accurate so it will give me the full experience. Screw these game developers!
If you want a sim get somethin like iracing if you want a simcade I would still suggest NH4 Forza motorsport is literally just turn left there is nothing more to it no difficulty no door to door its really bad plus it only has 2 of Nascars tracks while heat has all of them. But make sure you dont buy NH5 its garbage.

Some kids I met online the other day wanted me to buy Heat 5 to play with them the only thing I see about this game I like is the damage model, going around in circles makes me fall asleep after about 20 mins of racing and they said well there’s road courses ya 4 of them that’s gonna get boring real quick especially since I race some of those coarse already in other sims like PC2 etc… I’m not wasting my money on a game I’ll probably play once unless it like a used $2.99 game from GameStop
