And in this context it's the opposite because I think it's an investment buying a used car and start making youtube videos with it to make money and subscribers.
Firstly, buying a pre-owned Maserati won’t depreciate much if you buy it right. Secondly, just because an asset depreciates DOES NOT mean in any way that it cannot be monetized. In fact, there are many many instances I can think of where having a Maserati could make you a shit load more money.
It’s completely limited thinking if you say “that’s the opposite”.

I bought mine, a ghibli sq4, a few years ago as a long distance comfort cruiser for my job, and to haul my kids around town. i couldnt justify the price difference on the quattroporte with the only diffrence being the leg room in the rear.
NO REGRETS but, i dislike the AWD. I dont care if people dont like it, not every one loves a prius but you will find die hard fans no matter where you go. not everyone likes a mustang or charger or challenger or the people's attitudes that drive them, but gdam the are like an infestation of roaches when you turn on the lights in the slums.... EVERYWHERE!

exclusivity is the number 1 selling point, its not an investment vehicle, and maintenance costs and insurance would make most people green in the face... bare min $3200 per year and it has almost doubled now after 2 1/2 years with no claims or tickets to speak of, and im almost 37! basically it may not be too expensive of a vehicle, but if your a brokey, you will not be able to afford maintenance or insurances. my wife isnt materialistic so she doesnt understand/justify the expenses, nor does she like driving it because of the attention she gets from it, but as a man i ask, do us men, really need female validation to make a purchase? to have fun in life? to seek a thrill? i didnt buy it to pick up women, i have 5 kids. but i still got what i wanted ;) cuz ya know bread winning and shit lol

A lot of people have made comments about the reliability and about it being a glorified chrysler sebring or 300, and other than the electronic screen and switches, im not seeing it nor could i care less. i bought the vehicle for how it drives, and the comfort of the the interior, not all electronic and bells a whisles and doohickeys of other makes, but hey, im old school. i like analog stuff. its part of the overall driving experience, unlike newer vehicles and teslas where everything is automated/electric on a dial or button.
in fact the door window switches have the exact same chrome trim and design you find in mercedes vehicles of the same vintage. But for some reason you never hear anyone talkin smack on those... or the bentley, or the audi... and all of those are owned by VW.
It is more reliable than ANY Subaru on the road, and i speak from experience on that as well! i love my lagacy, but i dont love how unreliable it has been for me. Japanese conglomerant Ingenuity at its finest!! lol
ive heard : oh its sexy but it has a pentastar ", which is a similar design so i get the reference, however, where in FERRARI F160 do you read PENTASTAR? the only compatible parts between the two are the roller rockers on the cams.. it is literally half of the V12 engines they put in the Prancing ponies. i have yet to find anything under the hood that says daimler chrysler on it, but you see ferrari, and masi stamps everywhere. Yes, the block was cast in a chrysler plant, but then was shipped to italy for the rest of the building. it says, Made In Italy on the door sills, not Detroit, and not Mexico or Korea like your GM vehicles are nowadays. Any buick lacrosse or gmc terrain/traverse/acadia or chevy silverado lovers here?? that shit is made in countries that can barely keep a fire burning, much less make decent vehicles.
as for the subframe and platform, i still havent seen anything relating to chrysler anywhere on it, as i have changed the exhaust out myself for a titanium version. everything seems to be aluminum except for the frame itself. which is actually kinda cool/ new to me.
also, i had my windshield replaced from a pressure crack at the bottom edge, $1600 with labor of about $200, and i had to wait almost 2 months for it to be shipped from italy thru the dealer, it is not a readily available chrysler part as some have suggested. they are vin laser etched as well. i can show the reciept for proof that it aint no $300 mini van windshield!!
while these cars may depreciate, there are not many cars on the road that dont, and basically every mercedes and bmw depreciate at far greater rates than these due to over production and lease vehicles hitting the market every year.
again, these are not an INVESTMENT vehicle, thats what the stock market is for. however, they are a very fun to drive comfortable cars directed towards executives/ middleclass that dont want the same run o the mill cars you see everywhere all day long. there are 4 in my town of 54,247 people, and i have the only grey one. in fact i havent seen another in this color except at the dealer.
even with all the costs and things like that, it this has been the 2nd most reliable and comfortable car ive ever owned, next to my integras' and ive had 4.
