I was one of the guys to convince the maker of the app to go public with it. He had no intentions of making a public app but we convinced him that there is big demand for this. I've had situations where it takes ages to connect mode to 4 on the super 73 app usually due to bad signal or authentication error. The beauty of super duper is in its simplicity, no need to pair, no need for internet, just connect and go using the Bluetooth.

Are there any further developments to this since you posted? Have super73 put the mode back in because of the backlash?

I use my ZX to commute to work which is located in a sorta suburban area with barely any connectivity and believe me I have been stuck stranded so many times trying to get my bike into mode 4 because of the crap official S73 app, i'll give this a whirl and see how it goes. But yeah you're completely right they've done this to themselves and lost a lot of trust from the consumer base.
I spent over $7k here in Australia and then another grand or so on upgrades. If mine got limited to 15mph, I’d be mighty pissed! To be honest, I’d be sending it back, as it would no longer do what it said it would when I purchased it only a few days ago!!
Trust me, alot of people invest on their bike like yourself, I would be camping outside Super73 HQ for answers or refund, especially after no new changes had been made in the ebike rules and Regulations.

there may be a way to turn off Auto updates on super 73 app ......not sure guessing through phone can tell that app to never update then just run with version you have that works
So I updated to the latest firmware on my s2 and there's no mph increase whatsoever don't know what your friend was going on about. It's still tops out at 30 for me.
Hey, i am about a week away from ordering a Super 73 RX Mojave but have only just picked up on them limiting the bike through the App. Does this mean that it will be permanently limited to 15mph if i do buy one?? I don't think i will bother with Super 73 if that's the case. I was also looking at the Newgen 345 S as an alternative, what do you think? I'm new to this and need the advice before dropping £4+K on a push bike.
Well you can still do like 30mph on a super73 via the standard app, the issue we had is back in December they had switched it settings to 15mph only until the community went mad leaving them with no choice but to put it back to 30mph limit as before... this new app super duper is a back up app if super73 EU decides to restrict it again in the future... and by the way super73 is much better bike than newgen with more accessories...

@@TyXtra I’m based in Solihull West Midlands these days. I see that fully charged have a place at Silverstone which is probably my nearest. Other than that most stockists seem to be down south, London, Bristol, Sussex etc. I bought a Vsett 10+ scooter a few months ago and it’s made me want more fun on electric lol. Looking forward to, one day soon, getting to one of your ride outs. 🤞
ride and glide based in the UK will be the best place to order from with number 1 customer service if you ever come across any issues... tell them that ty xtra sent you 🤙🏽
I haven't done the torque update because I didn't want to deal with the mode 4 lockout. Do I need to do the update before I use this app, or will this app give me more torque by itself?
It sounds like super73 is shooting themselves in the foot if your spending that much money on your bike yes I said ut your bike you should get everything that bike can offer and more how can they take things away from you when it's your bike you paid for that Mother the only person controlling my bike is I and I dread super73 is losing their Crown Ty
So it made my zx really nippy. Can’t speak for the top speed increase as you know my bike is heavy bro. I’m getting quicker acceleration which is great. All in all it’s a great app. The stock app can suck eggs.

This app currently working for the RX, S2 and ZX, can be downloaded on iOS and android except Huawei phones..Will update you if that changes 🫡

Don't worry about it mode 4 is still active on the ZX when you install throttle, super73 noticed the mistake and revert it back

Super Duper fixed my PAS on my RX after the S73 app f*cked up mine lol, I deleted the original S73 app.
Do you think a rider whose 6'2 would be able to ride the zx comfortably?
You be fine, I'm 6ft4 and the you can always get a longer crank arms to stretch your leg out which I did with my RX

Important to note, this app only supports the RX at the moment, As of writing the dev is looking to implement S2
