We have been avoiding this brand, lack of power, range, etc.
Now if a S 73 comes our way, I would do this "build" right away.
Bike in house, hdmi to the big screen, Segment to segment on pause
and a whole lotta replay. This video, gives me SUPER confidence.

Hopefully at some point you get to do it all, and I really look forward to hearing about it.

Hi, how did you determine the pole pairs for programming? I am finding limited info on this so wondering if you actually cracked the motor open to count? Also what is the gear reduction ratio of this motor? The app instructions say you need to multiply the pole pairs by the gear ratio to get the correct number for auto tuning. Someone on reddit claimed the rx motor had 16 pole pairs, which if the ratio is 5:1 for example that would make the number you input 80. Bafang fat tire units seem to be 10 pole pairs and 5:1 which gives you 50 to enter into the software. Just wanted to know how you decided on the number you did. Thanks!

Yes, a hub motor you will feel each pole if your pedaling. There is no internal clutch to bypass the electrical resistance.

Both are a display and tuning device.
Next you will need a step down converter to lower your battery voltage to the 12v needed to power the lighting and horn.

      15.
I live 1 mile from beach, so plenty for me.
If I need to go far, I have motorcycles, and other e-bikes.
