Your studio is like my dream workshop.
Great studio. I think its awesome you can turn this into a job. Even if you are not making millions having a passion that makes you money is cool! Also your videos are pretty much unrivaled for production quality for this type of content. Hope to see your vids for years to come!
If I had a setup like that, I would add a couch, tv and small fridge and the wife would never see me again👍
I really like the new work space, very nice. It is amazing the amount of tools, paints, spare parts and odds and ends one can collect over the years. I haven't been building in quite a while but am slowly getting everything set up to enjoy the hobby I love again.
This behind the scenes video was very enjoyable. Over the past 6-7 months I have enjoyed following a great many of your build videos. Seeing where you build on camera was rather satisfying. My favorite build series was the Revell of Germany new Jaguar E-Type Series 1 fixed head coupe. I was waiting for my kit to arrive from Europe about the time I saw your first chapter of the Jaguar build. Your open box review revealed the contents of the kit were going to exceed my expectations. I truly appreciate your candor when you encounter problems with the build or your painting. The high quality of your work is impressive. You show the viewer what is possible with a particular kit if a modeler takes their time. Thank you for entertaining and educating us! The production quality of your videos is very good and a majority of what you build are kits I would like to tackle.
Love the shop! My parents had to move in recently so my massive former work space is now their bedroom and my new workspace/storage is a literal closet now. We make it work

No succes at all selling the completed models. Off the shelf diecast models are so “cheap” that people don’t see the value in a hand built model. So i just keep them for myself to enjoy.
No missed post. Its still 7 months out so i’m keeping it to myself for now :p

Very nice and well organized workspace you have! I saw you have the '68 dart and ı recently built one for a friend. If you choose the hemi engine option, I would suggest usi photo etch hood pin latches, it gives it a much cleaner and realistic effect!

I'll get to the point.
I am sure you know the basics of 3D printing and all that's needed for post cleanup.
You might consider moving all the printers to a dedicated work area. A table in the middle of everything might not be the best choice since it will require using a set work flow to get the best prints and ANY slight bump will effect the print (even on the shelf).
I have my printers set up in a work flow setting, going from per-print to post print cleanup. With all of the various items already in the area used. I have a dedicated spot in my garage for that so I know nothing will interrupt the print process.
Just a thought. And a very well thought out work space.
I indeed am fully aware of the basics, the printers in the cabinets are for display and “studio set background” not in a working position.
The table in that corner would also be for “studio set” proposes and filming. Not so much as a functional workspace for printing.
I’m still figuring out all the final details.

Hi Tom, that is a great looking set up. My modelling area is in one of our spare bedroom, and I use a old style office desk. Keep going strong and as long as you enjoy what you are doing you will just get better and better. What country do you live in? if you are free to say. Great studio. Question, regarding your private collection. Seeing that you've gotten some multiples of one model kits, do you plan on modifying some, or are you just a fan of that particular kit?
I’m either a fan of the model and want to build it in different colors. Or i plan to modify them in different ways
It's important that you have a studio for your craft, being as you do this for a living, and whilst you have to rent that place, at least you have somewhere you can leave stuff out and don't have to find somehwere for it all to go when relatives come to stay, like I do. Being at peace in your mind over all that stuff not being in the way allows you to concentrate on your amazing work. And now, dare I say it, your other half can get you coffee/tea when you need it... and maybe a sandwich... yes, joking, and good luck making all those kits. Can I ask one question? Why all the Corvettes from Revell?
Joking aside. That sandwich idea sounds good! They where on sale for €5,- a piece a couple years ago😅

"Of course" I have to admit I'm a bit envious, I once was employed as a H0 model maker for several years (not my best years for some reasons). I'm now just going to reduce my hobby and I have to give up completely in a couple of years at the latest (with a lot of bad luck much earlier)...

I Understand, I had posted on another site about me having a bunch, well, at last count I am up to 87 and still finding them stashed in boxes. 95 % are Mopar and Tom Daniel. At almost 62 and still buying models im not sure i will ever get them built.

I'm 65 with about 1300 unbuilt kits & I still plan on getting them all built before I go. Of course I will be living to 150 to do it, but I'm sure gonna give it a go :-)

I had followed you when you recommended the Harder and Steenbeck airbrushes and had I think Zero paints as a sponsor. Sorry for still sounding confused. I love the work that you do on your channel. I was working on a Star Trek Enterprise model and put it away and haven't touched it in a very long time because I got tired of messing it up in the painting process.
I was the owner of thescalemodeler.com and sold that off to someone else last year. Thats the short version. Now its itching to start a new shop ;p
