Cherish it, and cherish her. I just helped my 12 year old soul dog cross the rainbow bridge about 60 hours ago now, due to very aggressive cancer. We learned approximately 10 weeks ago that, ultimately, there was no winning outcome for our girl, so we chose to love her and shower her with as much affection and treats and good food as she could handle, rather than subject her to numerous vet visits, multiple surgeries, and a long, difficult recovery that would likely only end up with a reemergence of cancer a few months later. She absolutely loved being the center of our world for these last 2 months. And she began telling us 3-4 weeks ago that she wasn't feeling all that well. But she still had overwhelmingly good days until just a few nights ago. And we listened to her, because we made a pact to never let her suffer just because we could selfishly squeeze another week or two out of her, with a new anti-nausea or pain medication. But it's oh so painful still 😞

The most recent fur baby I lost was in 2023. He was only a puppy. I'll spare the horrible details, but it broke me to pieces because I had waited two years since the passing of my other two before I adopted him. Not long after he passed, my parents proposed that I get another. I didn't want to feel like I was replacing the puppy I had just lost and I was still horribly grieving his loss, but I decided it wouldn't hurt to go meet the one my mom proposed to me. So after a 5 hour long trip back into town from a TDY, I met up with my mom to meet my current fur baby. I'm so happy I gave him a chance. I can't imagine my life without him. I still weep for the others I've lost, but my newest fur baby brings me comfort in knowing he deserves a home and love too. When it's his time to go visit his brother, aunt and uncle in dog heaven, I'll likely provide love to another one and ask my little angels to live vicariously through them.
I had to say goodbye 3months ago to my Dad and my other “ grumpy old man “ that showed me unconditional love when we found each other at rock bottom 17 years ago. He was my constant companion and I miss him so much , and now after listening to this I know that he thought of me as his mother/family . 😢
I lost my baby Effy last November, she was in my life for 14 years, and I miss her more than words can say. Since then my cardio health has been declining and declining, no matter how well I ate, how much I exercised etc. Didn’t know what to do. A few months after losing Effy, my friends dog had an oopsie a few weeks before she was due to be neutered. I adopted one of her oopsie’s, called her Freyja, and watched my cardio health increase. Freyja is literally healing my heart. Dogs make life so much better.

We don’t deserve dogs. I’m 36 years old and have my first dog. I love him so much. He’s helped my mental health immensely. I love my little Rocky Road ❤️❤️
This is great! I had the honor of finding my first dog when I was about 30. She helped me in so many ways as well and can say that it was one of the greatest bonds I've ever had. Sadly she developed cancer and passed just a month after 6. We got another pup before she died thinking it would keep her company and comfort her during treatment but when she didn't make it this pup ended up comforting us. It was heartbreaking for a while cause the pup would whimper around the house looking for her scratching every door but once she realized the other was gone she stepped up and did everything to comfort us. Dogs are here for a short time in our lives but extremely significant and no other dog can replace one but new bonds can be made and I think that is beautiful. I wish you and your pup the best!
I miss my Scamp 😢 we had him 16 beautiful years xx he passed away in March this year on his mummy's bed ❤ best patterdale terrier in the world! Had his own mind, knew he was loved and was a gentle soul, God I miss him every day
Spot on for my 17 yr old chihuahua . Butkus grooms my hands daily. Sleeps in my lap , rides in the car in my free arm. Just drive like a human and no problem. Gosh I love my pup. ❤
Same for my 2 year Chi. She too, sleeps on my lap and in my bed. She's restrained with a seat belt in the car. She grooms my hands, my ears really; I guess she does everything that's described in the vid.
@@dobees8183 no pup is an a-hole. Sorry to disagree but it’s all in how u raise and teach each individual pup. I’ve raised labs and boxers and a Visla pointer mix that fed off my emotions. If you’re upset they notice that. Why do you say he’s a a-hole? Sorry but that one’s on you I think.
Our dog does most of these things. She does lean on me... Another thing...she loves kisses and hugs. She'll let my husband or myself hug her around her chest/head and neck and then she'll get all excited and prance around wagging her tail. I've never had a dog that likes hugs. She's such a sweetheart.
Amazing Channell! Many “unusual” things explained clearly! Thanks so much! We just want to understand our dogs as pet parents:) thank you for your hard work!
My dog and I both have anxiety, and she is my shadow inside and outside. She also is very protective of my child. I couldn’t have been blessed with a better friend and companion
Mine follows me when I move away from the group. She always looks super annoyed, but I realised one day that she was serious about the buddy system and is protecting me
I love my boy so much. It makes me happy knowing he loves me too. He found me, and he has helped me through so much in the last couple of months I’ve had him.
My old boss had a small dog that he would bring to work on most days. Most of the time he would take the dog with him whenever he had somewhere to go, but occasionally he couldn't bring him to certain places. I would of course babysit the little guy. Whenever his 'daddy' left he would first check the entire office to see if he could find him. When he was sure that his dad was gone he would start howling as if his life was over! Eventually, I decided to pick him up to wave goodbye and watch as my boss pulled away - just to save the dog the anxiety of thinking that he might actually still be there. Then I would put a chair by the window so that he could stand there with his little paws and nose pressed against to await his master's return. He would still howl and/or whimper a little bit, but not like before. Mostly he would just be super sad the whole time.
Just had to put my dog ( TESS) down she was 16 , i took her on from only 4 week old has her mother didnt take to her.... At the time i was going through a real low point , she was all i wanted at the time ( didnt realise how much i needed her ) , i put all my spare time into training her and spending time with her , she became such a great dog i knew i loved her , but only now has iv had to say good bye to her i realise just how much i loved her , i swear nothing feels the same without her......... This is going to take some getting over ( really struggling). Tess i loved you all your life, i will miss you the rest of mine.
I'm crying. What a beautiful tribute to your beloved Tess. I hope by knowing you were her everything and that she just loved you because you are you brings you some solace. If we do go somewhere after death, Tess is gonna be there at the door to greet you! I truly hope you're okay. From "just another dog lover" 💗
Aww we had a puppied we rescued (Louis) we only had him for a little while before he passed away. Even in that little bit of time he had already started following me to the kitchen or to my room. It makes me feel happy to know he finally experienced love before he left.
I love my chihuahua so much. I don’t want kids I consider her my baby. She’s 11 and she saved my life when I was younger. She saved me and I’m forever grateful for my baby
One year ago a rescue a female pitbull mix . The vet say she have 3 years, so have 4 years old now. And I love her, 12 of the 15 tips of this video she do it. Only she don’t lick me, only use the nose or body to come close. She get an area where I am, but don’t touch me, and 🤣🤣🤣 she love people and dogs, I go to places and she want that everyone touch her 🤣 She is a blessing
Dogs are extremely special animals and our relationship with them is really curious. Thats what thousands of years of a symbiotic relationship does. Not even being a totally different species becomes a barrier…in fact many people treat dogs better than other humans and that’s not a “wrong” thing Most animals (except for Dolphins) are incapable of evil, is a concept they can’t understand
My cane Corso mastiff loves me and exhibits most of these behaviors, but she NEVER gives me her toys. She's very possessive of her toys, and if I pick one up while cleaning, she hurrys over to take it from me. The most desirable toy in the world is the one in my hand. Lol.
We have a dog and for the most part, she is attached at the hip to my daughter. When my daughter is on her period or is sick, then our dog stays with her. If my daughter isn't eating, the dog isn't eating. When I've had to go out of town, I have to admonish my daughter to make sure that she eats if only so the dog will eat! To clarify, my daughter doesn't have an eating disorder, she just sometimes doesn't eat because she's hyper focused on doing something else. She is an artist and she's always been this way from childhood. Conversely, other times she'll eat a bunch at once and I will think to myself, "Surely she can't eat all that..."😀
@@Kattywagon29 exactly what I mean about dogs. There is no explanation for how intuitive they are. I am amazed almost every day. I’m sure it is great comfort to you knowing your dogs, will take care of your daughter.
@@sparks8934 ehhhh....my dog is kinda useless. She doesn't take care of anybody. She is a scardy cat. She's an alarm dog at best, but definitely not a guard dog like our other dog was. If my daughter was in the bed dead, I would expect the dog to be dead right beside her, so I guess I can be comforted that my daughter would not have died alone, so that's something. 😁 I am sure i could get her registered as an emotional support animal. I guess she isn't totally useless. She will let you know that something isn't how she thinks it should be (she's a herding dog) and she will chase other dogs away or rather try to and if they stand up to her, she will back off. She will run behind you if she is scared of something. LOL I don't know. We love her and she loves us, so I guess that is all that matters.
my childhood dog used to put her favorite toys in our backpacks when we had to go to school, I would open my bag and see her toys in there for me to find
My yellow lab Kandi is my only friend, always keeping me company & requesting me to eat with her, she's very good at communicating & she even tries to poke or push me sometimes! She also loves to look at me & give me her paw, & she seems to have come up with her own doggy language like snorts, sneezing, licking her nose, & saying aroo when she yawns
If you’ve been in their lives for a while, they see you as their family! Even if they’re sometimes mean or sassy. They’re like that with their parents and siblings😂
I miss my Bella. She passed away the day before my birthday this year and the poor baby was looking for me but I wasn’t there sadly. My mom was and she was incredibly loved and cared for in her last moments. I so wish I could have been there for her. It sounded like she was in high distress and looking for me. My mom didn’t understand full what was going on. She’s my fur-ever dog. I have never picked out a dog, I’ve only ever been given a dog by some random means. I now have 2 dogs and a kitten. I love them dearly but it’s not the same. Then again, we don’t have the 18 years Bella and I had.
Both my dog of 9,5 years and the new one, who is 8 and has been with me for 3 weeks, show me all of these behaviours. So, they love me and feel secure with me. I'm very proud. It could be no other way, bcs I love them sooo much!
Aww my two Chorkie siblings show all the signs, Raskal, the boy, it can be so annoying with his constant leash pulling and running up ahead with his ears and tail erect, but now I understand he's just looking out for me and his little sister. So sweet.. 🤗❤🤗❤🤗❤
Thanks a ton for this amazing video. All my 4 boys do this for me. N of course all my streeties too do this to me. I blessed to receive so much of love
Dogs were I work seems that consider me their mother. I feed them, although it isn't allowed and pet them, talk to them, call a vetenerian. They let me pet them on their head, they lick my hand if I stop for a minute, just to remind me to continue. They are so happy on Mondays when I arrive after weekend. They all look me in the eyes. One of them leans on me, which was confusing to me, since I am cat owner. My coleague explained me that this is how he shows his affection. He is a German shepard mix, all yellow, a big dog who really loves to cuddle and thinks that I should pet only him. I love them and I am thankful to them for teaching me how to communicate with dogs. And yes, they are like children. Looking for love and comfort.
How i miss my baby. I was not expecting this video to give me as many memories of my first doy that passed away a year ago. I don't think I'll ever have such a strong bond with another dog. But how I would love t9 have another companion in the future ❤
To be fair, I'd love to sleep with my Border Collie, allow him to be with me 100% of the time, etc but I really focused on making him not too attached to avoid separation anxiety. I still work and I wanted him to be able to be left alone part of the day or stay at someone else's place for the night without crying all the time. Glad it worked ❤ he is such a good boi and although I wish we were closer, Im happy he is independent enough to not be miserable if im not around (and he is literally a pain to sleep with anyway haha)
Our German Shepherd female herds our cats 😂 if one slips out the door she runs up behind them and nudges them on the butt with her nose until they run in the house 😂 it’s so cute! We call the cats “babies” because our GSD is so big. Her nickname is “momma”. So, if a cat gets out we call for her “Mommas, get the baby!” and she runs outside to herd the baby in 😂
When I reached the age of 63, I adopted 2 yellow lab puppies, brother and sister. Scout and Lucy. I figured that by the time they pass, I would be nearing my 80’s and be done with animals. Well, 3 years later, Scout and Lucy have become my life. I can’t imagine my life without them. Each has their own unique personality and they worship me and I them. The first 2 years were crazy but now, they are the most obedient, loving and caring friends I have. I can’t imagine my life without them. I beg everyone out there to save a shelter dog and share the love you have. You’re not replacing a lost pet, you’re opening your heart to a new friend.
All but #3 🤣🤣🤣 I have 2 puppies. They do what they want. Spoiled brat dogs lol. I still love their little faces. My female sleeps with her back pressed against mine and my male sleeps with his back pressed against my legs both facing the bedroom door. I love the little demons 🤣🤣 I have 2 shadows that go everywhere with me and they both do the super happy body wiggle even if I only go on the porch to feed the cats
My boy is so freakin cute. He’ll run ahead of me on trails, going just far enough that he can still see me, then waits. He can go pretty far away, but always where he can see me, and if I look like I’m turning around he’s at my heel in seconds. Such a good boy. 🐶❤️
I’m home with my granddog Ghost, and while I’m sitting in an armchair he comes and nest his head between my knees and just look into my eyes or climbing my lap and lay his head on my chest and look into my eyes, it’s such precious moments I’ll always cherish, also he’ll climb in whatever chair I’m sitting even if it’s too small 😂😂for the both of us. I love him dearly. I don’t let him sleep in my bed, but I wasn’t feeling well and my daughter said he slept on my legs (in my bed) all night. He is our heart, by the way he was born with an almost perfect shaped heart under his nose🥰😊

Sorry for your loss ❤️🩹😘
I lost my baby Effy last November, she was in my life for 14 years, and I miss her more than words can say. Since then my cardio health has been declining and declining, no matter how well I ate, how much I exercised etc. Didn’t know what to do. A few months after losing Effy, my friends dog had an oopsie a few weeks before she was due to be neutered. I adopted one of her oopsie’s, called her Freyja, and watched my cardio health increase. Freyja is literally healing my heart. Dogs make life so much better.
❤

Yes, they are a true gift.🥰😍❤
My dog brings me flowers. Y'all are chumps. The flowers are more like burrs stuck in her fur...but the sentiment is there.
@@metricdeep8856 🤣🤪🐾
I have a pile of sticks outside my door. My Kab just keeps bringing them to me but she knows she can't bring them inside the house.
There’s nothing I wouldn’t do for my baby. Almost 1 year together, my first pet. We love each other 😊
Hey question for you?? Do you ever have to leave your dog alone at home like when you go to work?? Etc?
I miss my Scamp 😢 we had him 16 beautiful years xx he passed away in March this year on his mummy's bed ❤ best patterdale terrier in the world! Had his own mind, knew he was loved and was a gentle soul, God I miss him every day
Spooning my dog while watching this 🥲🥲🥰🥰🥰
My dog loves laying on his bed. Watching everything on the street. He's a great dog. I love him. ❤
Awesome ❤
Spot on for my 17 yr old chihuahua . Butkus grooms my hands daily. Sleeps in my lap , rides in the car in my free arm. Just drive like a human and no problem. Gosh I love my pup. ❤
Same for my 2 year Chi. She too, sleeps on my lap and in my bed. She's restrained with a seat belt in the car. She grooms my hands, my ears really; I guess she does everything that's described in the vid.
Lucky. My chihuahua is an asshole, but I love love love him.
@@dobees8183 you can improve that. U fortunately most pups go off there owners attitudes
I lost my child on may last year
She displayed all the emotions in the video
I miss her everyday😢
🖤
My cocker spaniel loved me as if I was her mother ❤️she was 15 years old and passed away 4 months back
I’m sorry for your loss😢 I’m sure she had the best life with you ❤
Hugs to you ❤
Condolences ...
😢
May God please bless your Cocker Spaniel with happiness and peace and love.🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 Amen.♥️♥️♥️

STOP DOGS ARE SO PERFECT AND PRECIOUS 🥹🥹🥹
Our five month old puppy does all of these things! We love her so much. She is such a blessing to our family.❤
My Sandy girl was the greatest dog I ever had in my life. Loyal, trusting and protective. May you rest in peace 😊
RIP 😢
They are so special ❤
I've got a malitpoo, and she is always with me. She howls the house down when I'm out, even tho their other people home. Love her to bits ❤️
My Ziggy is definitely my shadow. Follows me everywhere and howls when I'm not at home. He's a little Yorkie mix and my baby.
😊🧡
I love dogs. They love me. And we are as happy as a tail that wags with speed!
@@Jerrysmithsmyname thank you

I love dogs!! ❤They are the best..
The most loyal..
Better than most people
Aww we had a puppied we rescued (Louis) we only had him for a little while before he passed away. Even in that little bit of time he had already started following me to the kitchen or to my room. It makes me feel happy to know he finally experienced love before he left.
We love our Waffle like our child. And he loves us back unconditionally.
I enjoyed this very much!!! Thank you. ❤
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! 😄🧡
When Im feeling sad, I remember that we have dogs and suddenly I start to be happy again.
I love my chihuahua so much. I don’t want kids I consider her my baby. She’s 11 and she saved my life when I was younger. She saved me and I’m forever grateful for my baby
I have a German Shepherd! He does ALL of these things😂! And I wouldn’t have it any other way 🥰❤️
My 6 month Cocker Spaniel puppy does most of these things! I just adore him! Xx
One year ago a rescue a female pitbull mix . The vet say she have 3 years, so have 4 years old now.
And I love her, 12 of the 15 tips of this video she do it.
Only she don’t lick me, only use the nose or body to come close. She get an area where I am, but don’t touch me, and 🤣🤣🤣 she love people and dogs, I go to places and she want that everyone touch her 🤣
She is a blessing
Dogs are extremely special animals and our relationship with them is really curious.
Thats what thousands of years of a symbiotic relationship does.
Not even being a totally different species becomes a barrier…in fact many people treat dogs better than other humans and that’s not a “wrong” thing
Most animals (except for Dolphins) are incapable of evil, is a concept they can’t understand
The chance of my golden retriever pup bringing me flowers is bigger than the chance of my husband bringing me home flowers. :)
Lol!😂
😂
Vash the Stampede, I miss him so much. 2005-2017 he was a good friend and the last thing in my life that genuinely cared for me too.
That is such a great name. I love that show.
My cane Corso mastiff loves me and exhibits most of these behaviors, but she NEVER gives me her toys. She's very possessive of her toys, and if I pick one up while cleaning, she hurrys over to take it from me. The most desirable toy in the world is the one in my hand. Lol.
Haha She loves you and her toys! 🧡
I get that too😂😂
Post a picture please! I love Cane’s but it’s rare in my part of the country to see one. I’ve actually only seen them on a show that was on HBO.
@@Melissa-y2u I will ask my brother to show me how to post a picture.
Sounds like my Aussie
I wish my dog could bring me flowers. It would be a vast improvement on receiving gifts of her poop.
Yep, I have a four legged shadow and he’s the best, I worry he’s too attached, dogs are so much our best friends and way way more.
LOL
I don't know. We love her and she loves us, so I guess that is all that matters.
There are no bad dogs. Only bad owners!
my childhood dog used to put her favorite toys in our backpacks when we had to go to school, I would open my bag and see her toys in there for me to find
So smart! 😄🧡
Oh I'm just watching, but already know. 😂
😂🧡
Same 😂😂
Awwwweee I've always thought our dog didn't care that much about me, but he does so many of these things.
It could be no other way, bcs I love them sooo much!
my dog does all the signs, I feel honored and happy to know that I give him a happy life and he feels loved, amo te meu cao gold ❤
I love dogs ❤😭
Dogs are better people than people, except the people that care for dogs.. they need to be left alone to hang out with cool people... that are dogs.
I love dogs but dog people like you are weird.
I adore my 2 dogs giving lots of love and treats
Aww my two Chorkie siblings show all the signs, Raskal, the boy, it can be so annoying with his constant leash pulling and running up ahead with his ears and tail erect, but now I understand he's just looking out for me and his little sister. So sweet.. 🤗❤🤗❤🤗❤
😊🧡
I love my two babies sooo much!
I am so sorry for your loss but Koa loves you and is watching over you
I have two little shadows, who are completely attached, just as much as I am attached to them.
we have only had our dog for 3 weeks and he is already doing all these things.
I miss my babyboy soooo much 😢 the most innocent beautiful soul 🐾💜🐾
😂😂😂 my GoldenDoodle Fendi follow me to the toilet every time. She’s so spoiled and I ❤her so much 🐶🐩
Thanks a ton for this amazing video.
Aww thats why he carries my hand 🥹🐾🥹
I really think this describes me and how I feel about my dog, not the other way round like this vid 😂❤
My wolfdog and GSD do all of these between the two of them ❤️ my bois are my life
Our German Shepherd female herds our cats 😂 if one slips out the door she runs up behind them and nudges them on the butt with her nose until they run in the house 😂 it’s so cute! We call the cats “babies” because our GSD is so big. Her nickname is “momma”. So, if a cat gets out we call for her “Mommas, get the baby!” and she runs outside to herd the baby in 😂
Dogs snd cats love their human parents and we love them back.
🧡
when i first got my dog, he was very clingy even as a pup. when i leave him to my relatives, he would also follow my aunt everywhere she goes.
My companion makes me feel sooooooo special!
Damn, now I need a dog to experience these things
😂
I've owned dogs all my life (I'm in my 30s) and I still watched this video because, omg the dogs are so cute :D
My wife and I recently adopted a new girl and she will not let me out of her sights she pretty much nailed all 15 of these items with me anyway.
Very good information
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! 😄🧡
My black lab's name is Shadow. What a good boy he is, the best one ever
My dogs. Gifted me with tree branch, leaves, plastis cups. And Sometimes a rock😂
😂🧡
My dog and I bonded after her mama died when she was a year old 😢 We both missed her terribly.
