We have a 2019 MR Triton and tow a Jayco Eagle Outback. Our thoughts were that Triton's shouldn't be towing heavy vans/ trailers even though they might be able to technically. The Jayco weighs 1.6 fully loaded and tows really well. Fuel consumption is around 15 litres per hundred kilometres on the worst of days e.g. strong head or side wind but averages around 13, and the Triton tows it with relative ease. The twin turbo would definitely help but keeping ours for a while yet. I agree with the idea that you shouldn't tow anything heavier than the tow vehicle. It just makes sense. Generally, we are very happy with our Triton. 4 years in and no problems at all.
I totally agree. Up to 2.4-2.5 tonnes is where these sorts of utes are adequate. But the fact it’s rated for 3.5t, and I’ve towed this exact configuration with Ranger and Amarok and D-Max and ALL of them felt considerably more composed and confident

it's not like it makes a difference. it's a weight and suspension thing. if you're going to tow 3.5 tonne of the reg, most people are starting to realise that dual cab utes are a fairly silly choice.
I like Mitsubishi I had a 2014 3.2l nx Pajero which had 331000ks on it with great reliability and I am towing a 2300kg caravan. After seeing how good the 150kw 500nm 70 series cruiser out tows the v8 I bought a GR Sport Hilux with 165kw 550nm with its wide stance and industry leading 4 piston front brakes and rear disc brakes its an impressive tow vehicle.
Interesting test. I have just towed a 3000 Kg van from Perth to Queensland with a 2019 Triton GLX+ 6 speed manual. Tow Ball Mass was 256Kg and although the lack of power was evident on some sections of the trip, I was happy with the job it did. In the picture at the end the Triton appeared to be sitting very low at the rear compared to mine. I also had 900Kg of payload which made the front axle weight a little light than preferred but manageable. I would like to know the Tow Ball Mass from the van you towed and the weight distribution on both axles. My van was 60Kg more on the front axle than rear of the van which gave a good spread of weight overall. I bounced around on some very dodgy roads along the way but overall I was pleasantly surprised with my old Tritons performance. I would like to upgrade to an Amarok when I get back to Perth if my budget allows.
Matt, Did you choose a car with the factory optioned heavier spring pack for the rear? Did you try it in all wheel drive because the GLS has super select 2? More concerning though, where are your towing mirrors? Worth mentioning is the car features a factory auto cooler. Other vehicles don’t.
Hi mate, Nah it was the standard spec Triton, which is rated to tow 3.5 tonne. I tried it in 4WD yes, and it didn’t make much difference, considering my main concerns were body control and power not traction. Towing mirrors aren’t a legal requirement.
75 litre tank is just not on. Not for Oz and our huge distances between fills. Minimum should be 100 litres or better. Mitsu, not the only one making this mistake btw.
Im towing a 3.3T van around oz with the MV and it does it well. Yes a V6 ranger will do it better but it has half the warrnty and a long list of defects which include popping engines, snapping transmissions. Please tell me what ute or SUV that doesnt sag with 300kg on the tow ball. All utes need upgraded rear springs for towing. MV also has thes best rear axle weights of all the dual cabs and the landcruiser and patrol.
What is it with Australians where they have to rubbish something or someone that is on top of its game. There are more new rangers around here and no one has ever had a problem.
Lol you obviously arent on the next gen ranger pages where engines pop weekly, plastic transmission sumps break or turbo lines explode. Oh and the self destructing drive shafts @tallboy49
Thanks mate. I’d love to do a GWM Tank/Cannon tow test fest when the vehicles are available, but they’re not typically offered with towing kit. Leave it with me.
Hi, once again, I don’t understand why Mitsubishi would put a twin turbo on the same size motor/diesel why wouldn’t I just put a bigger diesel in from the beginning that is not going to struggle once again I don’t understand as a retired, truckdriver you don’t go and buy a prime mover with the smallest motor and put heaps of gears behind it , anyway that’s my feeling. In my opinion I certainly like the look of the Mitsubishi Triton think they look fantastic.
Yep I know there is limited demos but a towbar will be an issue . These are the two I’m considering already have a deposit on an alpha . I currently own. A haval h8 and a 2017 steed so I know the product well so would be keen on a tow test on the alpha . All the best . Thanks peter
Surely you didn't expect a small engined ute to excel in towing. Towing big caravans or heavy trailers require minimum 6 cylinder, the 4 will not cut it.
Agree, people love and fall for the hype of 3.5t towing capacity when in reality I personally would never tow more than 2.5t (up to a maximum of 2.7t) with any mainstream dual cab ute. I’m sure there are plenty of people out there towing with weights closer to maximum figures without issues and possibly have GVM upgrades as well to go with it but it just doesn’t make sense to me to have something pushed to its maximum and not have a safety margin.
It would be helpful in all reviews if reliability issues could be discussed. Often vehicles favored by testers , who drive them for only a few days, have horrendous reliability issues. For example a quick check on the internet raises some alarming issues for the V6 's that are favored in this review.
The gigglyness you are mentioning at 9:47 would indicate the car needs to be set up better for towing, this is the first time I have seen your channel, maybe you need to set up cars for purpose to do the job ,rather than just take a showroom stock vehicle & expect it to do an extreme job, how many people would do that, not many I would suggest and if they do they need education, how about you do a video on what people need to do/ consider when setting up a vehicle like this for towing,
I hear you, but the vehicle is rated to tow 3.5 tonnes, I towed 3.1 tonnes, and that leaves room for a person to interpret how they might set it up and consider their payload / GVM and GCM. I'm not going to set up a vehicle with a family's worth of stuff, because it's just not possible, and every person has a different setup.
@@therightcar mate, I disagree - I've towed all my life sine I was 17, (now 64) and you can't seriously do it properly with a stock vehicle, did you modify it to make the trailer brakes work (yes), it's the same with the suspension, and the problem is the rating doesn't actually mean it should be done, this is a major problem with the industry (IMO), and creates more problems out there with the consumers who have no idea, I would seriously suggest you get the same vehicle and do the mods, show what needs to be done to do it properly. I have an NP300 (2023) we just bought a used Golf 650 Tourer caravan, because it was under 2.4T tare and under 3T loaded. We know what even though the vehicle is rated to 3.5T it's not really capable to do the job. there is no way I would tow any Max rating, of any stock vehicle, We have towed he van on its first trip from Brisbane to Lennox Head for a shakedown run (still stock suspension), it sagged 45mm and I will now look at airbags to solve that issue, Towball download is 160kg, people load 250kg, ancillary load 120kg, total load 530kg, + fuel (well within spec) The car towed the van well with a total fuel consumption of 13.3 L/100k over 470K (371 actually towing) the rest running around the area sightseeing). Once I do the airbags it will be spot on for the job. If people who tow aren't taking into consideration all the things I have mentioned above they shouldn't be towing, (IMO) that why we have so many caravan incident's out there, People who know need to be part of the solution, In the first shot of the set-up I could tell the ute was not set-up properly in the rear suspension, did you measure the sag, You have the perfect opportunity to do a follow-up video of how to improve the car to do the job properly, All the 4x4 dual cabs on the market need s mods to tow correctly, You say your site is all about the "rightcar" how about going the extra mile & show people how to do it right. There are plenty of people in the industry that will help you do the article because they are interested in safe towing, I'm sure you have the contacts anyway, Best Regards,
Every new model standard ranger with no suspension upgrades I've seen towing looked like it was going to take off and with smaller vans then you had on the back . I don't think you can make a vehicle ride well if you put suspension in it to tow 3t its just not possible if you are going to tow heavy caravans in any vehicle you would be upgrading your suspension
Illegally towing the van due to no towing mirrors. Rookie error mate. If youre going to throw those rocks around, best be sure youre not living in a glass house eh?
The dmax is so niosy I couldn't buy because of that alone, it also had way too much lag, the triton picked has one less leaf spring which went unnoticed and unmentioned by you. But you did well with your review for the benefit of what other manufacturers are paying you.
Everything thing is a compromise the softer springs in the rear make it more comfortable when not towing. As for the Ranger VW everyone I've seen towing anything look like the ass end was almost scraping the floor
Non of the dual cabs, excluding yank tanks and 70s, should be allowed to tow over 2.5t, its simply dangerous to their owners and other road users. I have two purpose built tow tugs, v6 and v8 diesels, both with all the needed towing mods, suspension, brake, engine upgrades, etc. V6 is merc auto and V8 a Toyota manual. V8 has almost double the torque of the V6 but V6 is my preferred tow tug for blacktop and made gravel roads, auto is best for ease of towing. V8 is built to tow/tour the outback and when i do that i drop the torque/tune back to around 750nm, which is more than enough. My van tops out at 3t, which places me safely within both vehicle GVM/GCM limits. I never tow above 100kmph but obviously/safely exceed that when overtaking slower traffic.
I can see what’s possible, but the downball weight limitation on the vehicle makes it hard to find a suitable tow vehicle. Not impossible. But I’ll have to hunt!
I certainly wouldn’t, and I was a durability engineer for Toyota, ford, Holden and Mitsubishi 🤷♂️ But RUclips is full of self proclaimed experts, so the opinions are worth what you pay for them 😅
Pity you couldn't fit towing mirrors, drivers like you are what gives caravaners a bad name, unless the mirror to mirror is 2500mm! Truck looks good, shame you did not fit extra mirrors!
Avida Topaz Tare weight 2750--2850 kg Plus 300kg xtras . It`s no wonder this ute is having a hard time with the weight being so close to max . 2 .25 Ton max plus 300kg loaded xtras would be its comfortable limit in reality .
This is a terrible review. You don't even know how to load the vehile properly and distribute the weight, you chose the wrong level to compare and if you're actually going to tow 3.1 + tonne then you definitely should have chosen a model with more leaf packs. Sure someone could answer well Mitsubishi state it tows 3.5 tonne but realistically any company stating that from a 4cyl engine is doing it just for sales, no doubt it can do it but that nit what 4cyl engines ate made for. This review is poorly researched and put together.. only people who know EXACTLY what their talking about should be able to influence people who are potentially looking at a new car and it very obvious this Reviewer has no idea!!!
You looked like Aqua Boy with all that porpoising going on. Seriously, the only thing that exceeds expectations with the Triton is the indefatigable optimism of Triton fanboys 🤣🤓
Its bloody stock mate, what did you expect? Budget ute, budget suspension. If you're serious at towing, or 4x4, you'll be upgrading the suspension as soon as you leave the dealership.
I didn't get up to 110km/h. And you don't legally need towing mirrors in NSW. I was driving safely and responsibly. Any towing mirror manufacturers who want to sponsor the channel, hit me up! :D
I would like to suggest you add in some useful technical advice. Much of what is in this review can and should be gleaned by a prospective purchaser considering a car of. this nature. But what about plugging in a scanner, providing some technical info around engine performance, commenting on whether it has a transmission cooler or needs one. What about towball distance from the back bumper and the resultant turning circle when towing something with a wide draw bar as this. Caravan weights etc...I suspect most Utes will bounce under these conditions. Just saying.......most of these reviews seem a bit superficial despite the stated aim.
Wonderful review. I enjoyed it and found it interesting, even though I don't have any intention of caravaning, and don't even have a towbar on my vehicle. But hearing how unsettled you (and your ute/caravan combination) felt on the road was illuminating. You mentioned not traveling at 110kmph - isn't the maximum lawful speed for a caravan 100kmph in NSW?
van is close to level ... Ute is pointing up to the sky . Handling and braking will be compromised . Towing 101 basics.. Ute has to remain level. Correcting to level will change the feeling enormously . Amazing it towed this van poorly . Ball weight ?? Van weight ?? Most utes are confident with 2Ton trailer . Only a few tow well around 2.5T
Thanks for the maths lesson. Doesn’t matter about that - a customer should be confident when they are buying a ute that is rated to tow 3.5 tonnes that it can do the job. This was a disappointing experience.
Reality is ,,look into what kg limit the factory recommends load levelling bars . Often at this point in my previous utes if u stay under/around this limit all is golden . Eg 3T Max limit ute had a levelling bar requirement at 1.8 T .Sensible load of approx 2T handling or braking was not compromised at all . Instal a leaf spring helper to maintain ute level ride vehicle drives as if was not towing at all .
We all know that utes of that weight and power shouldn’t be towing anything heavier than the tow vehicle. Whether it be an Amarok , Ford or whatever ! Even if it has more power, you are only putting the occupants at risk. Don’t be foolish do your homework. An innapropriate test. Good luck finding a suitable van weight to match the power and the engineered capability of the vehicle of choice or modify accordingly. Happy towing
If this is “inappropriate”, you must be disgusted by the THOUSANDS of families with utes just like this towing vans just like this. I base myself in reality.
Thanks for this review , would love to see a tow review for the new cannon alpha ultra diesel as this would be a good comparison to the triton as similar price .
For a Ute that Mitsubishi advertised that they were investing so much into making this the best Triton ever, everything I have read and seen reviewed shows that it fall short in every measurable sector. I have an old Pajero (2012) and I love towing with that (2100kg) and I was looking forward to the New Triton but I definitely won’t be buying one. It definitely seems that Mitsubishi is suffering the Stalantis curse of producing average 💩, only thing decent left in the Stalantis group is the Patrol and it will be interesting to see what the new Patrol delivers.
When you say other Utes, which one.. it's best to include the engine capacity. Say Ford/VW Wildtrak 2litre at 154kw how does it compare?. You can't compare this to the V6 it's not fair..
@@therightcar then you say thank exactly in the video like that.. "other Utes" is too open and it seems like there are a lot out there on the same engine capacity... But thank you for the reply
You obviously need your licence for work so I thought I'd share some information I found out recently. In NSW if your combined G.C.M is 4.5T or more (or maybe above 4.5T), you're only allowed to drive at 100km/h max (same as a heavy vehicle). But in Victoria and Queensland, you can still do 110km/h as long as your cars GVM isn't 4.5T or above. I was just lucky that my old car couldn't do 110km/h towing, otherwise I probably would have found out the hard way.
Regardless of this review, It's incredibly hilarious there's always chest beating about stock suspension "not being up to the task" because they sag or for XYZ reason with a big load. I mean let's all agree every manufacturer has a similar issue, some more than others? The very same people that carry on about this and make it the biggest deal and rubbish a car about suspension, are the same people that upgrade the suspension anyway on the car they end up with 🤷🏾♂️🤦🏽♂️
Would be interesting to get your opinion on a lighter weight tow. I agree i wouldnt buy ine if i was towing that weight, but love it towing 2t trailer. Much better than previous models
Just sold my triton ute, best thing I ever did. Absolute pile of crap, wouldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding. Total waste of money. EVERYTHING FRIGHTENS A TRITON.
@therightcar Guess you are saying Ford is the best new ute by a stretch - based on what metrics? It's a more powerful engine and looks great but Ford has dogshit reliability and the company is well known for not giving 2 shits about their customers. Based on the whole package I'd rather pick a Triton any and live with a slightly less powerful car but have peace of mind that it's great for the wallet and if shit goes wrong Mitsubishi has me covered. Nah it was the standard spec Triton, which is rated to tow 3.5 tonne.
Mitsu, not the only one making this mistake btw.
big missed opportunity to give the triton more grunt like we all been asking, adding an extra turbo and a couple kw's did stuff all.
try to remember that all of the dual cab utes suck at towing 3.5 tonnes..
A towing test of a ssangyong musso xlv would be interesting
Great to see a review on towing ability.
Ideal for a trip to Dingo Piss Creek.
Bonza.
Best place to park your acoustically transparent shittoir 😂
I honestly think manufactures have a hard time producing a vehicle for all applications I think that makes after market parts even more important
I never said “that there are other utes that don’t sag”. But check my other reviews and you’ll see the others didn’t sag as bad as this.
@@therightcarI didn't see any measurements of sag? You did measure the sag didn't you? Or are you guessing?
@therightcar sorry, that wasn't bad.
Might be talking about the Navara, I guess?
Great tow review. Would love you to tow review the GWM Tank 500 ultra and the GWM Cannon Alpha Ultra.
Thanks mate. I’d love to do a GWM Tank/Cannon tow test fest when the vehicles are available, but they’re not typically offered with towing kit. Leave it with me.
Good review thanks. Did you travel the same route while towing with the amorok, ranger and dmax, i couldn't tell from the comparison reviews?
I'm interest on how it compares to the 2litre Ford VW. Comparing it with the V6 is not fair.
I wish they would bring this truck to the US market Mitsubishi made a good truck back in the day
You'd be nuts to tow 3.1 ton let alone 3.5.ton with any ute (American trucks excepted).
Thousands of Aussies do.
Thanks mate. Efficiency is part of it. Global brand politics is another. But the 2.4 is great in heaps of other scenarios. Not so much with towing.
This surly is a great advert for buyers of big caravans towing with a vehicle which is not suited to a Ute , brilliant video though.
This engine is too small for towing that size van,yes it will do it but for how long?
We know what even though the vehicle is rated to 3.5T it's not really capable to do the job. there is no way I would tow any Max rating, of any stock vehicle,
We have towed he van on its first trip from Brisbane to Lennox Head for a shakedown run (still stock suspension), it sagged 45mm and I will now look at airbags to solve that issue,
Towball download is 160kg, people load 250kg, ancillary load 120kg, total load 530kg, + fuel (well within spec)
The car towed the van well with a total fuel consumption of 13.3 L/100k over 470K (371 actually towing) the rest running around the area sightseeing). Once I do the airbags it will be spot on for the job.
If people who tow aren't taking into consideration all the things I have mentioned above they shouldn't be towing, (IMO) that why we have so many caravan incident's out there,
People who know need to be part of the solution, In the first shot of the set-up I could tell the ute was not set-up properly in the rear suspension, did you measure the sag,
You have the perfect opportunity to do a follow-up video of how to improve the car to do the job properly,
All the 4x4 dual cabs on the market need s mods to tow correctly,
You say your site is all about the "rightcar" how about going the extra mile & show people how to do it right.
There are plenty of people in the industry that will help you do the article because they are interested in safe towing,
I'm sure you have the contacts anyway,
Best Regards,
Every new model standard ranger with no suspension upgrades I've seen towing looked like it was going to take off and with smaller vans then you had on the back .
I don't think you can make a vehicle ride well if you put suspension in it to tow 3t its just not possible if you are going to tow heavy caravans in any vehicle you would be upgrading your suspension
This will be on my list when I upgrade hopefully they fix the stop start and driver attention. I drove one last week and it annoyed the pants off me.
I hope you and your pants recovered.
@@therightcar the salesman wasn't happy lol
@@adamg6199Were you wearing pants when you saw him or were they still annoyed off at that point? 😉🤣
Illegally towing the van due to no towing mirrors. Rookie error mate. If youre going to throw those rocks around, best be sure youre not living in a glass house eh?
Maybe a weight distribution system would be a good idea which you never mentioned, i had to use one om my 105 towng a 16 ft van
Wow. Can maintain 80kph on the flat. Well done.
How is it on a hill?
The dmax is so niosy I couldn't buy because of that alone, it also had way too much lag, the triton picked has one less leaf spring which went unnoticed and unmentioned by you.
But you did well with your review for the benefit of what other manufacturers are paying you.
Nice review. Probably the wrong model to test though as GLX+ and lower have better rear springs as the 'lux' models are going for softer ride.
Easy suspension up grade would fix alot of the problems
Everything thing is a compromise the softer springs in the rear make it more comfortable when not towing. As for the Ranger VW everyone I've seen towing anything look like the ass end was almost scraping the floor
A pity you couldn't replicate wet weather towing.
My Ranger is one scary beast in the wet...
My employee's Triton feels a hell of a lot better
Tows awesome in the wet. Super select means 4wd full time
Non of the dual cabs, excluding yank tanks and 70s, should be allowed to tow over 2.5t, its simply dangerous to their owners and other road users.
Thanks for the tow test. Would you be able to tee up a VW Touareg tow test in the future please, either engine option.
I can see what’s possible, but the downball weight limitation on the vehicle makes it hard to find a suitable tow vehicle. Not impossible. But I’ll have to hunt!
No surprise the V6 is the better tow donk
No replacement for displacement
When's beast mode activated..😅
Shouldn't be towing at 110 anyway, tow speed limit is 100km when you exceed 4.5 ton GVM or GCM
Yeah I know, it probably came out wrong the way I phrased it.
Poor Mitsy! A good and honest review Matt.
Who in thier right mind would tow a van that big, with a light weight Ute. I wouldn’t tow anything bigger then a 16 foot van.
Heaps and heaps and HEAPS OF PEOPLE DO.
I certainly wouldn’t, and I was a durability engineer for Toyota, ford, Holden and Mitsubishi 🤷♂️
But RUclips is full of self proclaimed experts, so the opinions are worth what you pay for them 😅
@@therightcar that doesn't make them right.
Would have been good to have the Triton loaded as it would if you were off on a holiday.
Pity you couldn't fit towing mirrors, drivers like you are what gives caravaners a bad name, unless the mirror to mirror is 2500mm! Truck looks good, shame you did not fit extra mirrors!
I think you make presumptions about “drivers like me”. I could see. I drove safely. I didn’t cut anyone off. Don’t presume.
Luckily all I am towing is a JetSki 👍👍
Avida Topaz Tare weight 2750--2850 kg Plus 300kg xtras . It`s no wonder this ute is having a hard time with the weight being so close to max .
2 .25 Ton max plus 300kg loaded xtras would be its comfortable limit in reality .
It’s rated to 3.5 tonnes. Can’t cope nearly as well as others I’ve tested.
Cheers appreciate your test tow, any word on the new gen Pajero Sport coming this year and will it have the same tow capacity as the Titan
None of these uses should be towing this weight.
Plenty are. But suspension changes would be a first mod!
@therightcar they certainly are. Manufacturers say they can.not for me.
GCM over 4.5T speed limit is 100Kph, not 110Kph.. Same applies to trucks with GVM over 4.5T.
New shocks, 500kg leafs and load distribution and 300-400kg in the tub under a canopy...oh and a 3.2 upticked diesel please.
Yes they do and its only because they're allowed to get away with it.
Its bloody stock mate, what did you expect? Budget ute, budget suspension. If you're serious at towing, or 4x4, you'll be upgrading the suspension as soon as you leave the dealership.
Excellent review, well done.
3:11 i might not go 110 klm per hr , couldn't watch anymore .
No towing mirrors? And up to 110kph? Caravans in NSW are not permitted to exceed 100kph
I didn't get up to 110km/h. And you don't legally need towing mirrors in NSW. I was driving safely and responsibly.
Any towing mirror manufacturers who want to sponsor the channel, hit me up! :D
What about the fact you compared it to towing with the amarok which had a 2" ome lift? @therightcar
@@therightcar still. You should have said in the video and others, while towing in nsw the law states. 100kph limit
There is no replacement for displacement! Thanks for the thorough and informative review I thought you did a great job of it.
Thanks heaps mate.
I wonder how it would go with suspension upgrade and a manual??? Mitsubishi dies have a very good warranty
Yep I didn’t travel at 110 because it’s not legal (or safe or smart) to do so in most instances!
In New Zealand tow speed is 90
van is close to level ...
Yep, I’d love to try and do one if I can get my hands on one with a towbar!
How about you use the correct set up for what you are doing
Can you turn off driver monitoring with gaffer tape I’m wondering ?
Hey mate, how big, long, heavy is the caravan you're towing?
Big. Long. Heavy. 😂
It’s 8.3m total length, 2.5m tall, and 3.1 tonnes
Are you going to do a towing review of the petrol version of the VW Amarok Aventura TSI452?
Where's ya towing mirrors?
Next time put your towing mirrors on.
Anybody towing a 3.5 T van with a Thai built dual cab is a piss take.
Is it better than the MR for towing?
Yes.
No towing mirrors?
For a Ute that Mitsubishi advertised that they were investing so much into making this the best Triton ever, everything I have read and seen reviewed shows that it fall short in every measurable sector.
I have an old Pajero (2012) and I love towing with that (2100kg) and I was looking forward to the New Triton but I definitely won’t be buying one.
It definitely seems that Mitsubishi is suffering the Stalantis curse of producing average 💩, only thing decent left in the Stalantis group is the Patrol and it will be interesting to see what the new Patrol delivers.
New Infiniti QX80 is out so there will be a fair bit shared with that I assume
Is dmax 3.0 better for towing?
Yep, I would choose it over this for towing this much weight.
When you say other Utes, which one.. it's best to include the engine capacity. Say Ford/VW Wildtrak 2litre at 154kw how does it compare?. You can't compare this to the V6 it's not fair..
I’ve towed with Ranger and Amarok 4-cyl, and both were better. Same with D-Max and BT-50.
Towing Mirrors??
Please do a towing test on the new tank 500
Regardless of this review, It's incredibly hilarious there's always chest beating about stock suspension "not being up to the task" because they sag or for XYZ reason with a big load. I mean let's all agree every manufacturer has a similar issue, some more than others? The very same people that carry on about this and make it the biggest deal and rubbish a car about suspension, are the same people that upgrade the suspension anyway on the car they end up with 🤷🏾♂️🤦🏽♂️
Tell the people that Ute is a 3 leaf set up the glx plus is 4 leaf set up
You just did.
Hi. What's the ball weight of that van? Thanks.
it said it on the screen. 350kg. It's an especially heavy van.
Now I know, why Mitsubishi pulled out of the German market with the L200. Not competitive enough...
It wasn’t just Germany and it wasn’t just the L200…!
Would be interesting to get your opinion on a lighter weight tow. I agree i wouldnt buy ine if i was towing that weight, but love it towing 2t trailer. Much better than previous models
I imagine it will find its happy place with 2 tonne on the back. I know this is a big van, but that’s indicative of what people tow.
Just sold my triton ute, best thing I ever did. Absolute pile of crap, wouldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding.
Total waste of money.
EVERYTHING FRIGHTENS A TRITON.
Bullshit I can pull away from my mate in his 3.2 ranger up hills with similar weight caravans.
Ah another "car journalist" sponsored by Ford
I’m not sponsored by anyone. I am an expert at new vehicle reviews and it’s the best new ute on the market by a stretch.
And i speak from experience having owned a Ranger.
Shouldn’t you have a wdh fitted.
It may have helped out, sure. And you may use one if you tow something like this. Sure! I hear you.
I've done some shameful things in my life, but I've never owned a Triton.
Hahaha wow
Don't loose hope one day you will get one & see how much rubbish you have had.😂😂
This guy is a Toyota Landcruiser V8 fan so everything else will get bad reviews.
You’re a goose. 🪿
Ford are blowing up engines. No thanks
