I appreciate you addressing price fluctuations. Not many reviewers give guidance on this. As someone who will wait to buy for the right price, it’s helpful to know what one can generally expect in terms of discounts and the best time of year to buy.
I just got the new mevo+. I haven't set it up yet, because I also just had a bunch of teeth pulled and I'm waiting until I feel better before setting it up and shooting regular golf. I got it though off the Flightscope site with a 10% coupon code on top of those discounted softwares. Got pro, impact, and TGC 2019 along with the 12 free E6 courses, and 2 dozen RCT balls for around $3600, and I'm looking forward to feeling well enough to set it up.
Any plans to compare this to the new 'Square' launch monitor? That seems to have all the same club and ball data, in a camera powered unit for only $700! Too good to be true? I've watched some reviews and seems to be basically as accurate as a GC3, so v promising but also a completely new unit... Holding off for now! Thanks
I'm not happy with my R10, but the Mevo+ requires 13' (4m) between tee and screen indoors (and aluminum stickers with limited flight). That's a LONG distance. Between that and the 8' necessary between the unit and the tee it makes it a deal breaker in most garages, certainly mine.
doesn't "require" 13', but it's recommended. I know ppl that say it runs fine with 10' and as low as 8'. Between the tee and mevo, I've seen ppl do 7' just fine. Using the lowest values, that's 15ft, which is the length of my car exactly. Most garages are 18 -24' deep.
Also, if you use the RCT balls from titleist, you don’t need the aluminum stickers. I’ve been using the RCT balls and they work very well. A bit pricy but worth it in my opinion.
I bought an old version when the new version was released, so I’ve had it a little over a year. I’d like to trade it in for the newest version but don’t think the value holds up.
I’m in the middle of creating my simulator room. Before I commit on different one or use same simulator, I have the older Mevo+ already, I was thinking of going ahead with the construction of the room. question: Who do I buy upgrade’s for Mevo+?
It would be such a no brainer for me if it didn't have the placement limitations. Driving ranges in my country just don't have the space behind a bay to have it sitting there. Very annoying!
Love my mevo+. The only problem I have is with gs pro and E6 disconnecting frequently. I run my mevo+ in pc mode. Any thoughts or suggestions. Love your channel. Thanks
@@eric2394 The mevo+ comes with just ball data. For club path data, there is an add on (one time fee) of about $750. If you have that add on, then face impact data is also available for an add on price of about $350. So it's about $3000 to get everything on the mevo+ and never have any subscription fees.
I’ve had a Mevo plus since 2020. For a while I had the putting working okay, but it is just too finicky for me. I recently picked up a bushnell launch pro on sale because the short game for sim golf is so much better. The Mevo + is great on many levels, but the BLP feels more accurate, especially at reading the occasional toe hook.
I also have the Mevo Plus and have been using it for over a year now. For full shots it's pretty good. But it does struggle with short chips and putts. I upgraded to the ProTee VX and it's night and day difference for the chipping and putting. Yeah it's a lot more expensive but it takes the experience up a few notches for sure. We used to have a saying with the Mevo Plus...so bad it's good...meaning that it had a hard time picking up the really terrible shots which would result in a no read and the person got to rehit their shot. That no longer happens on the ProTee VX so all the horrible shots get picked up and we all have a good laugh watching the slo motion replay of the clubhead hitting the ball in all sorts of crazy ways.
I have sight probs, so going to do a lot of sim, but also want tracking at the range. I’m deciding between memo and wave. I like the wave for putting and their reasonable course sub BUT I’m leery of a product I hear less about. And I hear generic criticism about it as an improvement tool. Can you define the flaws better w/ wave? Just want to make the best choice, and I can get both for 3 k

Definitely buying a mevo+ next. Great tech and no greedy subscription nonsense. Love my Garmin but I just want that little bit more.
This guy normal playback speed is 2x.
Love all the simulator talk! More more more

I bought the 2024 mevo+ recently from play better. Got everything (pro, impact & alignment stand) for $2869.20. There are definitely deals to be had.

I purchased this on sale with the pro pack and his coupon code

sean ..... GREAT video..... awesome info
What is the accuracy difference if you don't use RCT balls indoors? Neither of us use or like the balls so we don't want to practice with them.
when using these units does it make a difference if you are hitting a driving range ball or the type of ball of indented to play with

How do I know if I’m getting the latest version?
The color is different. 2024 Mevo+ is white. The 2023 was grey.
Mevo plus don’t have club path and face path data?

This did really help clarify Mevo's current offerings! Thanks!
Does anyone how putting is with the fusion tracking? I’ve heard that the Mevo+ doesn’t do well with any putt for 20-25ft

Dont tempt me with another great option for launch monitors
I think he has a double hinged tongue.. could be a medical sensation 👀
1st on the tee box 😂
So they screwed people who jumped on the LE!
Not really. It’s the same price and identical hardware. The sales may have cost people, but the LE simply became the 2024 Mevo+ fully decked out.
In case anyone is shopping now for it as a gift for themselves the unit is 1747.05
