"One of the most dim criminals I've ever seen" made me think of the dude who skipped out on a bar tab, had the cops called on him, hid in an abandoned building, and was caught when a cop called out "marco" and the dude hiding yelled out "polo" without thinking
Child rapists deserve every painful thing they get. Only monsters are capable of such disgusting acts. They have no humanity, and they do not deserve to be treated humanely. Let them suffer.
Couldn't agree more! There seems to be alot of these absolute monsters who get a slap on the wrist, while it looks as though the victims suffer for a lifetime. That doesn't seem like justice to me
God that picture with that child's room just ruined my entire life. It's crazy how we hear about CP and we hear about people who produce it and are guilty of exchanging it and viewing it but seeing something as simple as a background can turn your stomach like crazy.
For me, it's the implications of what happened that scare me the most. With the aftermath all I'm left is to assume what could've gone down. I look at the dressers or carpet and think "how do these 'people' live a life like I do?" and it reminds me that, they are, in fact, people. Twisted, sick, scary, people. Then I wonder if I'm capable of anything that horrible, because I too am a person. I see bits and pieces of a normal life shattered and all that's left is for the young child to face tomorrow, if they even get that chance. Sorry for the rant
@@ferretappreciator that is precisely why that picture scared me the way it did. That is a home to a child. That home represents a psychological base for him or her to run to when they skin their knee or fall of their bike. When the very place that represents so much comfort and relief is compromised by the abuse that takes place right next to the child's toys and movies, blankets, etc....that child no longer has that beacon of hope welcoming them back from any bad thing a child may experience. It totally breaks my heart and makes me seriously wish I could adopt all of them and give them all the love and support they deserve.
I won't go into too much detail to avoid any identifying info about the family involved (because it was in the news) other than to say this happened in my parent's neighborhood, sometime in the last 10 years. A guy who was a longstanding leader of their neighborhood's HOA board, who had 2 young children & a happy marriage, & was a frequent volunteer at local events, got his door kicked in by a dozen cops & multiple plainclothes officers one morning - turned out he had spent years acting essentially as the IT admin for a small group of child material traders & had been caught in some enormous sting operation. The cops took apart his house: he had stacks of harddrives of content that he had hidden in floorboards & secret panels in the back of closets, & the entire time his wife had absolutely no idea (along with anybody else). I think it was ultimately found that nobody in that group had ever created content or directly knew people who had, it was instead a sort of dark web online store for anonymously selling/trading content, & my parent's friend/neighbor was the person who managed the site itself & its file hosting. The wife divorced him before the trial even started & took the kids to another state. It really can be anybody involved in that kind of sick shit, real psychopath stuff.
@@ferretappreciator Yeah I just wrote a long comment replying to the OP of this thread, but a trusted friend & well-known & liked neighbor of my parents was busted for being involved in this kind of shit in a big sting operation. He had hosted neighborhood events at his house, where he had also been hiding harddrives of content literally under everyone's feet. Absolutely wild.
You forgot the detail when Haverly slipped out in the interview saying the victim was a mother without everyone telling him the details of the body found on the creek. This leads for the authority to get suspicious that leads to his arrest.
The first story with the pictures disturbed me the most... I *KNOW* what's going on in those pictures, I feel sick for the children in them and all others under the radar. no child, even 17, deserves the trauma, confusion, and degradation that cones with such a disgusting adult act against them. And the most disturbing this is honestly that those pictures are real. They're right there.. and no one can identify anything in them.
the context alone of the photos really irks me. genuinely puts me off horribly. even more disgusting that the photos aren’t even there because the people were caught, they are there because nobody can identify them. ugh
I check ECAP regularly looking for my abuser. I know for a fact he didn't stop with me and every time I open the site I feel ill. I can't believe that there's people who'd do such monsterous things
I'm really sorry to hear about the mark it left on you, I really hope one day you can find the one you're looking for and have them brought to justice like you deserve
@@reddie1705 I don't have proof so I'll never be able to get justice for myself but I hope that I can catch him and prevent even more cases. No one deserves what he did
I heard a story somewhat recently abt gary glitter getting booed off the stage at a concert they let him hold in prison and he cried and I just think thats beautiful
😂 imagine this old washed up hack, trying to convince himself "he's still got it!" in the lockup, getting all dressed up in his gear to do his show, and even the terminally bored inmates are like "NO" 🤣
Most prisoners DO NOT like child abusers, especially the type of abuse Gary did. Child abusers are often targeted by other inmates. Edit: I looked up the story and most of the other inmates were also S offenders. His performance was just THAT big of a disaster. Edit 2: Someone else replied to me here that the other inmates weren't S offenders, just the ones who comforted him after he cried. *also I'm calling it S offenders instead of the actual words bc I'm worried RUclips's dumb censors won't post my comment if I don't censor myself.
The sad thing about Pastor Koh is I don’t think we’ll ever get an answer, even with his wife’s pursuit of justice through the court. They could never openly say that they as a government killed a man for going against them. Not unless it was decades down the line, and the people admitting it were far removed from the people who committed it. That’s how admissions usually go down here in America, unless the truth is uncovered in the midst of the offense.
Its almost like they will allow criminals to walk free, but if you ever threaten the status quo, you disappear ...no wonder Malaysia is such good friends with Russia... same thing happens there too...
"and present-day corpse" is the funniest way to phrase that someone is dead. may he rot in hell 🥰 glad to have you back, reignbot! great video as always!
Checking the comments, I’m positive I cannot safely watch this, but thank you for including one or more stories about ECAP. I was trafficked, tortured, and filmed from birth to 15 and my f/th/r is absolutely still out there. I can’t safely do anything to change that and frankly I hope I’m dead long before he’s found, but I’m hoping the others out there are found and k/lled. It wouldn’t begin to make a difference to what my life is now-I’m considered to have no potential for symptomatic or functional improvement anymore, short- or long-term, am not allowed to go out alone or drive at all bc of my psychiatric disabilities, plus I’m profoundly physically disabled as a result of my upbringing and I live in a protective environment for the rest of my life. The only saving grace I have is that I’m only conscious of an hour or two of my life at a time now, with days- and weeks-long gaps in between that I never even knew were unusual/missing time/blackouts until last year. I just thought everyone doesn’t experience every hour it every day. [Edit: It*] doesn’t keep the hour or two I have from being unsurvivable or very unsafe for me & the people around me because of my untreatable tr/ma issues… but I never have to suffer for being unable to do things like brush my teeth or sh/wer or sleep, or keep myself from constantly hurting myself when I’m just sitting still alone doing nothing now- because those things seem to get taken care of when I’m not conscious/‘awake’. It’s impossible now to make those things future goals, but they don’t have to be. Death is too kind for people who cause this, but nothing can help people like me because of people like them, there is no such thing as help for us, so I’d rather they just be removed to prevent more harm. Doing to them what they did to us won’t make a difference. It doesn’t change anything for the people they destroy, who are gone and done for already. When there is no justice or repair to be aimed for, I really just think the monsters should be executed as a precaution instead. I hope that doesn’t make me too much like them. Thank you to everyone in the comments saying you’ve checked that site trying to help.
And no, it doesnt make you too much like them or like them at all. People say violence begets more violence but keeping a/b/users alive begets more abuse and violence. Violence is sometimes needed save more lives. An imaginary moral high-ground is NOT worth the Tr/a/uma and overall suffering.
I'm incredibly sorry about your life. You've lived a fate worse then death. I can only say that I am very happy to know that somehow in all of this suffering you go through to this day, that you are blessed with adequate support system with people that care about you. I don't say these things out of pity btw on a very small scale of an atom, I can personally relate. I've been groomed, raped, shot, stabbed, abused in every way and my leftover trauma is me still mentally be a child because the best times of my life was when I was a child and even then, everything was dysfunctional and it's very hard to take care of myself because Id rather consume myself in stimuli then do responsibilities. Everytime I go outside my mind goes into millions of ways of how something horrible can happen to me. I do wonder something, when you say you're not conscious, how are you fed? Through a feeding tube? I can only imagine because if you physically shut down for long periods of time with only a small window of being conscious, as you said, other things are taken care of when not. I do hope you get justice some day, I pray you do 🙏 and don't worry, you're nothing like them
Aww sweetie I wish I could give you a big hug and tell you how much you don’t deserve what you went through. Your father is the Lord and true love and peace is his promise for you. God bless.
That last case is heartbreaking. I can’t imagine the moment her son’s words clicked into her mind. The horror, the disgust, the thought of what her children had to endure and she hadn’t protected them. She did what she had to do and I’m glad she did it. I hope she’s doing okay. I don’t think she deserves to be in prison for it either, but I understand it’s a complex case. Edit: I’m not here for the comments discussing the legal system. Idk if you’ve ever been in the situation, but it’s not all cut and dry. Personally, I have experience with a case similar to this and the situation wasn’t handled appropriately, it’s easy to say things when you’re not in that situation.
The chief inspector’s comments angered me too. I know there was no hard evidence that her husband did that, but come on! He’s more concerned with how Baines suffered than with how the children must have suffered. For crying out loud the poor son took his own life.
@@username-mk4qv right?! i was like, bitch are you trying to make me feel bad for this monster? what he did to those children us worse! corinna did nothing wrong
@@username-mk4qv I completely agree, plus I don't see why both of her children would have had to lie about such thing, especially when one even ended up committing suicide. The absolute horror and pain this mother and her daughter will carry forever is way more than the pain she inflicted on that monster. If anything she was way too kind to him, I would have poured it all over his privates
So she kills a guy and calls him a pedo with absolutely no evidence, and you people are rooting for her. She murdered her husband than accused him. So we have 1 murderer and 1 innocent person because you can't try a fucking corpse.
That last case was quite the rollercoaster of emotions. Initially I felt bad for the man and especially that he had passed away on my birthday, but now I'm thankful for it
The last case with Corinna Smith reminded me of the time our mum sat me and my brothers down when we were children and told us that if anyone ever says anything that makes us uncomfortable or touches any of our privates or in any way that makes us feel gross, we whould tell her straight away, no matter who it is even if it's a friend or a family member because she will always believe us and she will "hurt" anyone who will do anything like that to us. Our mum is a well-liked polite gentle pious lady but looking at her expression that day, I can believe she'd kill *anyone* who would harm her children. Thankfully, we were fortunate to be surrounded by generally good people.
Saying you will hurt someone if a kid tells you something is a brain dead thing to say to a kid, sad to say. Many kids don't want anyone hurt and might think to stay quiet instead. Much better to just say "I'd want to know if that happens and you'd be very good to do so." or something similar.
Dude I just spent hours last week looking for the yearbook in that ECAP picture!! Couldn't find a ___ Williams Middle School (?) with a mascot like that AND those colors, but did find a slightly similar older yearbook for a Williams Middle School. Sent a tip in for that. Also, a teacher was just arrested from a Wiley Williams Middle School in GA for child exploitation, so I sent that info too.
Just did the same 😆 found Roger Williams middle school, in my state, a Williams middle in mass and another *Williams middle in Huntsville (I forgot what state) but none with that logo, and couldn't find the school ID photos (probably because their minors.). Also tried to see if I could find logos from 2017 but couldn't find a match either... If you look really close it almost looks like a devil's tail coming out the top, or something similar that has an arrow at the tip.. maybe I'm wrong tho, I thought it was a bird till I saw that now idk what it could be
Sorta looks like a student ID. Maybe from the school year 2017? I was wondering if that's why the black section was blocked out cause it may be the victim?

Those pics from ECAP can be hard to look at. Knowing that these images are from actual child exploration videos and that the person in the image was in the process of abusing a child is infuriating. We can only hope that the FBI can actually catch and punish these monsters.
The first case: everything shown in the pictures point, to me at least, to the Netherlands. The owl on the pyjama is from the dutch kids show called: De Fabeltjeskrant. With the storyteller being a owl called “meneer de uil” (mister owl). I think i even managed to find the same pyjama as shown at 5:01min.. Obviously i am gonna forward the information to the FBI, hopefully it will help. Thanks for creating the vid!
I hope your info will help these cases somehow. Also just curious, how are you able to discern the vague places/rooms shown and think it's Netherlands?
I'm pretty sure the owl pajamas are just generic pajamas from a kid's department store. My cousin used to have one that looked quite similar. You can search " cute multicolored owl pajamas for kids" and there's plenty that look like that exact one.

"child predators deserve the slowest most painfully excruciating deaths for the horrific crimes they commit", another CSA victim here, That helps no one :/ Its just animalistic to suggest, I get the emotions you have, I have them too, but you have to think rationally Honestly, your ideology is why I never reported my CSA, overall I don't want people like you targeting people like him (and his family) Not only are family members effects by this, but so can the victims even. Thank you for highlighting the secret underbelly of Malaysia and their refusal to acknowledge their hands at the disappearance of so many. Pastor Koh, along with others of the same plight, needs to be continued in addition to pressure towards the countries crimes against its citizens. Luckily with the ability to share the nightmares of the actions of foreign countries, it highlights that there is much to be done to protect everyone’s freedom and lives.
That ECAP video was so disturbing but so necessary, thank you again for your work in this area - a lot of channels talk about it but they don't often seem to be actively trying to help. Incredible work, thank you thank you.
As a side note, I'm British and I remember the Gary Glitter story pretty vividly; he should have absolutely been locked forever when he was first arrested; for context, the team that were responsible for investigating paedophiles at this time was very small (six people going into the 90s I believe) and the public understanding of things like digital images being traded between offenders was quite limited, even going into the 2000s the team was very small. No excuse, in any way whatsoever, just thought it was information people might not have. The digital age had only just started and was grossly underestimated and overlooked. May all these monsters rot in hell, and their victims find peace.

Legally speaking, tech repair shops have to go through files because of this very reason. If they didnt and later it was found thst they even briefly had possession of the cp, they would face legal trouble as well.
This is only awesome in the sense that if they’ve done their job right they had a hand in incriminating these monsters. But one oversight and you’re linked to a crime you didn’t even know about? That sounds terrible
Hi, former technician at a repair shop for a couple of years here. This is for Canadian laws. We are not legally obligated to search for any kind of files. However, as soon as you see any kind of CP or information that someone might be in immediate danger you have to report it. This often happens when transferring data from one computer to the other and validating that most files were transferred, when downloading something and then fetching it from the Download folder, or when scanning with an anti malware software and seeing strange file names show up. Tl:dr : As a former tech in Canada you don't have to search for anything. However as soon as you see it you have to report it or you can get charged with negligence or even complicity
That can't be true. If they see something and don't say something thats different but to make anyone who's NOT law enforcement do a LE job can't be correct.

I absolutely LOVE that Gary Glitter was deported from Cambodia, as "a threat to the national image" of the country. I've been telling people about that since it happened. It's fucking hilarious. It's literally them saying that have enough of their own dirty laundry to deal with, they don't want to give the impression of a willingness to take on anyone else's into their load! 😆
Fun fact about the boiling water and sugar mixture in the Karina Smith case: This is called “Jugging” or the Sugar Bomb, and its commonly used as a weapon by prison inmates as a way to seriously harm/disfigure other inmates, it essentially acts like napalm.

As a Brit, I remember Corinna's Story being everywhere. I signed petitions and shared her story, hoping she'd be freed. As a survivor of childhood abuse myself, I have so much respect for what she did to protect her children (and the memory of her son) and I completely understand the anger you experience when you find out what has happened to a loved one (my mum was horrified when I finally told her about my non-biological "dad" abusing me and she still blames herself to this day - although I don't blame her at all). The BBC are an absolute mess of a company and my partner and I have refused to fund them as much as possible (we cancelled our TV license years ago and avoid all live TV because of the BBC). So much corruption, lying and abuse happens within the BBC and I hope stuff changes soon. Too many people have been hurt by them especially. I also hope Corinna and her family are doing well (as well as they can given the circumstances)!
If a man did that to an elderly woman (Baines was 81), like an acid attack that killed her let's say, over an accusation that lacked proof or evidence, would you feel the same way? That's why we have a justice system: to render fact from fiction and to apply a standard of punishment that we as a society has determined to be 'just'. Also consider: - Vigilantism is bad; it doesn't follow consistent steps, no rights to the accused, and no transparency - Capital punishment does not exist in the UK anymore, for many practical reasons beyond the morality of it. So if you approve of vigilantism that results in death in your society, well I just hope you don't ever have to be on the receiving end of it because you clearly haven't thought it all the way through and will be quite upset when they come for you on the suggestion of a single person.
@@oldmandoinghighkicksonlyin1368 Your hypothetical is a thinly veiled attempt at derailing the actual topic at hand. Firstly, what would her children have to gain from lying about the abuse they faced? Statistically, people who lie about abuse (especially of a sexual nature) are in the minority. It doesn't happen often. Also, keep in mind that her son committed suicide, which is unfortunately a common response to abuse in boys and men. Secondly, the justice system fails to protect/help abuse victims time and time again, especially if you come out about your abuse several years later. I came out about my abuse at 15, when it was still happening, and my abuser faced no consequences due to "lack of evidence." Thirdly, when someone takes the rights away from others, like your own children, the rights of the perpetrator aren't going to be a concern at the time. While I do believe that everyone deserves their day in court, I also believe that there are cases where people have snapped and that it is understandable. Living with abuse (especially when it is done by a parent) is incredibly hard to live with, it's a lifelong battle, and Corinna's response, while often seen as "harsh," is no more harsh than forcing someone to live with trauma all of their life. I am fully aware of the fact that my own experiences are adding to my bias and opinions (which is why I would be ineligible to do Jury Service for a case about abuse and DV) but I'm also aware of the fact that abuse cases rarely even make it to court. Finally, the argument of myself falling victim to vigilantism could be countered with my very real life experiences of being failed by the police, being failed by the courts and being failed by my own (non-biological) abusive father.
@@Xenobat Why would a child lie about abuse? Many reasons. It's why you have an open and transparent trial to get to the facts. Plus it gives your accuser to counter the claims. We already tried living in a society where mere accusation was enough to put someone to death on grounds of moral superiority. It was a time when women could be accused by children of being a witch, and without evidence, those women would be executed in terrible ways despite the accusers (i.e. religious freaks) claiming the moral high ground. Sometimes children would accuse their parents. I'm sorry your personal experience has biased you, but that is why we have set up an impartial justice system that may be far from perfect, but is certainly better than vigilantism or a system where no evidence, only accusation, condemns innocent people to death.
I'm glad you feel as though justice was done, but there was zero evidence. Literally zero. No texts, photos, videos, confessions, etc. It was the vague last words of a mentally unstable man and the story from one child. If he did it, then he deserved what he got. But on the very real chance that he DIDN'T do it, an innocent man was killed in a horrific manner over one accusation. Innocent. Until. Proven. Guilty.
@@Xenobat It's so telling to me how the people defending the rights of child abusers are basically almost always men. IT's almost like they find it easier to empathize with an accused abuser than their actual victims. It's chilling.

Okay...that first segment about the "ecaps" made me sick because each one of them is related to a victimized child. I'm a police officer and several years ago, I was given an option to work as an investigator in either "Homicide" or "Family Services" (the latter dealing a great deal with child sex crimes). I took homicide because I honestly don't know if I could control my anger if I had to deal with someone I know intentionally harmed a child. It wouldn't do a criminal case any good if the investigator choked the offender to death.

The Pastor Koh case is so frustrating to me on so many levels. From a Christian standpoint, it's so hard to know someone was targeted for their belief in Jesus. Somewhat related, but as an American Christian, it's upsetting to think that Christians here think they're being persecuted when this is real, devastating persecution that resulted in the disappearance and possible murder of someone who genuinely wanted to make the world a better place. From a broader perspective, I also support freedom of religion, and to see anyone of any faith being attacked like this is awful. It's also so sad to think that people would try to remove someone who is offering a net positive from their community.
It is really sad that people think they’re being persecuted because they can’t be a dick to people when people do legitimately get arrested in countries with state religions.
@@ReignBot Come to think of it, if I had watched it I wouldn't be this excited; this is not a joyous series, and if there's victims involved, I have deep respect for them... it's just that, I dunno, I was certainly not expecting this series to pop again in my feed today and I was taken away by emotion. I am truly grateful, though; information is power and we must know to avoid how to avoid harm and help those dear to us stay away from it, too.
I remember seeing the final case mentioned in either an r/trashy or r/iamatotalpieceofshit, the rest of the article wasn't shown in the post and the narrator thought that Smith was the POS because of it. It pissed me off so much, you need to keep the context in the image when you submit it. She's a mother whose child was violated in the worst possible way by his own father, and I'm in her side.
It's still unconfirmed whether he actually was or was not. That's the type of accusation you have to KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt is true before you do something. She did ZERO investigating and immediately went to work.
@@harlottebronte Because people need to understand the concept of "innocent until proven guilty". Just because one person says something doesn't mean the accused is guilty. After all the fake r@pe allegations at colleges, I have learned to seek evidence before I come to any conclusion. I never said the guy was definitively innocent. I never said he was a good person. All I am doing is reminding people that an accusation is NOT substantial enough evidence. Especially not to boil the man alive. This wasn't self-defense. This was premeditated murder without having done any searching for evidence.
@@MrJr1976 "after all the fake rape allegations in college" My friend, the number of rapes that go unpunished is far larger than the ones that are falsely accused. Not that people like you care anyway
I've left Islam for a few years now and while it's not illegal to change your religion here (as long as it's one of the recognized ones) I live in a majority muslim country and I still fear for my life. I've only told about this to a few of my really close friends that I completely trust so to my family I'm still practicing the religion although for me it's just play pretend. When I spoke to some muslim on the internet anonymously they called me islamophobe... It's ridiculous.
You have realized how evil the faith you were forced to follow is. I am glad you left. I hope you can safely leave wherever you are and have a happy, safe life.
The last case will always and forever piss me off. The fact that a father who molested 2 kids directly causing one to commit suicide from the trauma went unpunished and then punishing the hero who killed him in a very deserving way is INSANE. Child rapists deserve NO sympathy and anyone, the judge, prosecutor, BBC, and anyone who believes that child molesters should go unpunished should be hung drawn and quartered. The ONLY way we can eliminate child molestation is by taking a 0 tolerance stance on it, and the fact that the UK Courts dosen’t punish it AT ALL and instead punishes the victims is infuriating.
I’m very, very surprised you shared about Pastor Raymond Koh’s story. Thank you for sharing this out, as this case still remains unsolved and a mystery. And I have not seen any of these online covered by RUclipsrs abroad. Yearly, there’s always a night vigil held with prayers by the local Christian community for his safety, if he is still alive today; and in his memory, if he remains missing or is gone for good.
I was going to watch this and fall asleep as I usually do with crime vids but it was just so captivating that I had to wake up and re-watch it clearly. Great job. Man, there are no punishments cruel enough for predators...
I'm Malaysian and safe to say that the abduction cases related to religion in Malaysia was never covered by mainstream media...you'd only see it on the internet and social medias and even then, it is heavily monitored and anything criticizing the government will be immediately banned and the people who made the posts will be apprehended by the police (wow, now that I'm writing this down, it's eerily similar to Communist China)...these kinds of cases are prevalent in Peninsular Malaysia as the majority of people there are Muslims, and it's rare here in Sabah or Sarawak (Malaysian Borneo) because we have a very strong Christian community here...Muslim zealots are mainly centered in Peninsular Malaysia so I'm not surprised crimes like this happen and the law enforcement act like they don't know anything...
Oh hey, how are you? Perfect timing, was about to rest a bit before getting back to work. I saw the thumbnail i recognised your thumbnail style and knew it was u even before looking at any text, title or your profile. I haven't watched yet. But i know it will be gooood.
The story from Malaysia is why it makes my blood boil when American Christians claim that they’re discriminated against because of their religion. There are people all around the world that are discriminated because of their faith, and there are even Christians that are discriminated because of their faith. And Jonathan and Kimberleigh from Buttefuck, Idaho are definitely not part of that group.
The story of Raymond Koh is really a great topic to cover in your new installment of Tales of Our Disturbing World. As a Malaysian, I have my bias regarding true crime stories and mysteries inside my country. I think you should make a whole video about the murder of Altantuya Shaaribuugin, the Mongolian model/liaison of a political advisor who had close ties to our former most corrupt Prime Minister in Malaysia and the world, Najib Razak. For the old creepy crime case from decades ago, I want your take on the Mona Fandey case, the former pop singer and killer shaman.
As genuinely awful and useless the justice system is, you can't go around murdering people as soon as they're accused of something terrible. That man may not have even known that the execution had anything to do with his actions. I can sympathise with her position - she was right to believe her children and she may well have lost control - but she did, in fact, do something wrong. We need to restructure justice around reformation and not punishment. No matter the circumstances, this was a very horrific way to kill someone, whether or not she did so in cold blood. She needs mental help no matter what, not a jail cell. That woman's daughter lost her brother, then she lost her mother as she watched her abusive father die slowly and painfully, nobody there to hold her hand through it. She has to live with all that trauma by herself. That can't possibly be justice.
I think it is also important to point out that vigilante justice is what leads to lynchings. Just because something is right in the eyes of the community does not necessarily mean it is actually right - people in the KKK got off for the exact same reason (though, obviously hating black people is a much worse than punishing an abuser). It's a very difficult case, and I do think it was handled incredibly poorly, but we can't let her off scott-free. Like you mention, reformation and focus on mental health would be a good start, but completely letting her off the hook is definitely not the answer.
@@fighterman4812 There is a misconception, even by some who claim to support prison abolition, that the only alternative is vigilante justice. There's a reason I see a hell of a lot more white people making that horrific kind of statement than anyone else. I want to put that first because it's so often seen as more just for an innocent person to be scarred than a guilty person walk free, and it's the accused that can't fight back who get it way worse than the privileged. It's also a huge issue that most people hear "restorative justice" and think "no consequences" - as if there's no way a person who's done awful things can regret, can understand the consequences of what they did and reform. As if there's anything just about the old ways that focus on punishment rather than healing the victim and preventing further harm. I haven't seen many real world examples of restorative justice run on a large enough scale to matter yet, we don't know exactly how these things can work, but we have enough pieces of the puzzle to know that it can be trialed to some degree. Whatever happens now can't bring back the dead. He's gone. We do have the surviving family, we do have psychiatrists and therapists and sociologists who can help the survivors heal, and when it's safe to do so, work on policy with the surviving victim to find out what could be done to stop this happening again. Either way, the use of violence to "right" violence doesn't seem to be working.
So a fun fact that turned out not so very fun just months later, was that Gary Glitter waved at me when I was a toddler while he was stopped at a red light in his red ferrari in London. My mum went and told everyone as a funny story when it happened, then a few months later he was headline news for being a nonce :))) family have joked about it to me ever since.
Had to pause and comment at 6:09 because of how much effort you put into catching these people responsible for such horrific things …. As a former child of abuse in multiple ways … thank you!
The last story reminds me of what happened to the singer Al Green. He was dating a girl at the time and she wanted to get married and he told her he wasn’t ready for marriage just yet so while he was taking a shower she was boiling a big pot of grits. She threw it the boiling water and grits all over him sevearly burning him. He said he put a hand on his back his skin was basically goo at that point and came off in his hand. He was able to call 911 and his girlfriend fled into their room and locked the door. She pulled out (not sure if it was hers or his) a gun and committed suicide. He took a step back from the music industry after that and became a pastor deciding to change his life since he thankfully survived
@@theMoporter Well yeah of course the context to the situation is different. What would have reminded the oringial poster is the boiling pot of water with something added in to make it more harmful.
I don't know if this is too dark.. Or if Im completely twisted and messed up for thinking this.. In the first story could you imagine being a parent watching this and recognizing your kids room, Or recognizing the pajamas as your child's... It's tough to think about.
What a great video!💕 There were even a couple cases that I had never heard of, which is a rarity for me! Well, you just gained a new sub:)✨I really appreciate how at the beginning you posted the FBI’s ECAP tips of photos that have vital, yet vague clues pertaining to child predators regarding active child SA cases. It may come across as a pointless exercise to some.. but if every single person who sees this video takes just a minute to look at the photos closely, you never know what may catch someone’s eye that could potentially break a case wide open- and save an innocent child’s life. It could be the furniture in a relative’s or neighbor’s house, or a boyfriend’s or a classmate’s hat.. etc. you just never know. And this hits so uncomfortably close to home, so I appreciate it more than you know. Thank you:)🦋
I always find these triggering as a victim of CSA, but I watch them anyway, I’m not sure why. Maybe it makes me feel like there might be justice for some of these kids one day. Justice I’ll never get. The last one hit in a weird place too. When my mom found out she did nothing. Said she couldn’t believe me without hearing his side of the story (him being my father and abuser). Now we continue on like nothings happened and I keep it buried so I can stay functioning. It’s sick and I’m exhausted but I have no choice.

That doesn't seem like justice to me
Don't worry.
The prison people will take care of that..
Rapists should be given the same treatment.
Yes!
Those images send a chill down my damn spine.
They're right there.. and no one can identify anything in them.
the context alone of the photos really irks me. genuinely puts me off horribly. even more disgusting that the photos aren’t even there because the people were caught, they are there because nobody can identify them. ugh
This won’t help at all but I think the 17 might have referred to 2017, not the age(given that it was for a middle school)
It’s so sad

The sad thing about Pastor Koh is I don’t think we’ll ever get an answer, even with his wife’s pursuit of justice through the court. They could never openly say that they as a government killed a man for going against them. Not unless it was decades down the line, and the people admitting it were far removed from the people who committed it. That’s how admissions usually go down here in America, unless the truth is uncovered in the midst of the offense.
Its almost like they will allow criminals to walk free, but if you ever threaten the status quo, you disappear

"and present-day corpse" is the funniest way to phrase that someone is dead. may he rot in hell 🥰 glad to have you back, reignbot! great video as always!
When I die, I want a tag put on the front of my shirt listing my position as "corpse".
Much love to you dude, you deserve the absolute world going foward and I hope these pieces of shit rot.
I do hope you get justice some day, I pray you do 🙏 and don't worry, you're nothing like them
Its completely horrendous that youve been through that, have you looked in dissociative identity disorder? Your resulting symptoms fit well
Aww sweetie I wish I could give you a big hug and tell you how much you don’t deserve what you went through.

I almost forgot about this channel, glad you guys are back!!!

As someone from the UK, the Gary Glitter thing is always so sad. We all knew he was creepy, had for years. It’s like with Saville. Running jokes in playgrounds, schools, everyone knew. People came forward. And nothing was done because they were famous.

What’s going on in Malaysia is disgusting. Imagine claiming you have freedom of religion, yet banning people from choosing what they practice should they change their minds. Coming from a nation that was founded on religious tolerance, the treatment of Christians and other faiths within Malaysia should get them punished.
that's what always happens when islam is majority.

Theres only 2 case that seemingly same like the pastor, It was a doctor, who has shady background, And threatening our main country religion, The government gave him a chance not to do it again, but he did it, Then he end up just like the pastor, But hes lucky to still have his dead body, Either its the goverment come for him, or the other way around.. .. wanna talk about disgusting?? come here and see, How The muslim get 2nd grade and the other religion Got to build their sacred place..
This is not true for most countries

Also consider:
- Vigilantism is bad; it doesn't follow consistent steps, no rights to the accused, and no transparency
- Capital punishment does not exist in the UK anymore, for many practical reasons beyond the morality of it.
I came out about my abuse at 15, when it was still happening, and my abuser faced no consequences due to "lack of evidence."
Thirdly, when someone takes the rights away from others, like your own children, the rights of the perpetrator aren't going to be a concern at the time.

Saddist part is many american christians would love if the us acted that way
Such horrifying incidents are pretty common for minorities to face in Muslim majority countries.

It’s a persecution fetish.
That really annoys me as well
@@spacedandy7555 They'd regret the day they actually start getting presecuted if they don't cut this crap out
The story of Raymond Koh is really a great topic to cover in your new installment of Tales of Our Disturbing World.
Come back to us with another one soon ReignBot! Love your hard work.

HELLL YEAHHHHH, GO REIGNBOT !
Thank you so much !
