Wtf? So a neighbor hears screaming and someone begging for their life, calls the police, the police knock on the door, no one answers, and they just go, "Oh well. I guess our job is done here." Not even a damn follow up visit?
People on swatting: "How dare cops enter someones house, even if they are told someone is being murdered." People 2 seconds later: "Cops should bust down any door of any house they get a call about." Maybe we should agree to meet somewhere in the middle: In this case its semi understandable if the "tip-off" was anonymous. There is no possible way to know if the call was real or just some asshole trying to mess with their neighbor. If the neighbor walked out to meet the cop and explain that there was history of arguments things might have gone differently. . Until you have a neighbor who has a drivers license and testify in court, you have NOTHING except an address.

The Chinese mental hospital hit me harder than it probably should. I'm ethnic Chinese in Thailand. I remember when my mum heard about the internet addiction booth camp she fully supported it and seriously considered putting me in one if the practice ever spread to Thailand.
Gaming Addiction Disorder is about people who’ll sit at there desk for days on days and not even move to eat or use the bathroom or even abandon all known responsibility in order to play more. Not kids who just don’t want to do homework or someone who can play video games all weekend and return to work during the week. It gets thrown around a lot by people who don’t understand or want to find something to blame or scapegoat.
@@functionalaviation144 It’s that second word that really sort of answers your question: addiction. While multiple disorders feed into it, it is, at the end of the day, an addiction
@@functionalaviation144 i assume it’s because addiction is wanting something that releases the happy chemical in your brain.. so playing video games probably does that for certain people.
It also bothers me when people try to pretend it doesn't exist, because "anything can be addictive if you enjoy it enough." That's why it's classified as a _variant_ of Addictive Personality Disorder. Just like gambling. It's just more specific.
To those not in the know MAP originally meant “Multi Animator Project’ and then twitter and tumblr pedos attempted to co-opt the term. This is especially bad because a lot of animators in the MAP animation community ARE minors. Better just to call pedos pedos and not give them the term they want to take.
You absolutely have a point but I also think its smart to let people know who use the term maps just so people and especially minors can be at safe and report then.
yep in the middle of the video I though why am I watching this when instead I can watch cute animals compilations or sm that would make me hate less humanity
For the Yandere case. She actually met him at a Male Host Club where he worked, after awhile of dating, she tried to force him to quit his job, and, when he said no, she seemed to take it okay at first, it was then that night when she stabbed him. Luckily, he’s doing okay now, and, is back to work at the Club, and, even wrote about his experience here (which is how I found out about it.)
@@jonnysac77 Exactly, and, she knew that going in. Like, they literally met at his work, so, it's not like she didn't know what his job was either. She just didn't want him working at the job, but, wanted him to find a "real job" (despite the reason he started that job to begin with was because most "real jobs" didn't wanna hire him cause he was a dropout, but, he grew to love the job, which was pretty high paying).
“My treatment for internet addiction has a 100% success rate” he’s says Yeah duh, the kid doesn’t want to have to go back and get that “therapy” If anything it’s a failure, the kids are probably being sneaky about it now.
Real numbers never have a 100% success rate. Electro-theropy has never proven to ever work for anything why would it suddenly work for this? Stupid. That poor child. I was almost crying.
I'm schizophrenic and have been offered the same treatment, i said no as I have other schizophrenics that has lost memory capacity, especially recent memories, permanently from that treatment. Even a semi-famous schizophrenic "Living with schizophrenia" here on YT repoted the same. So don't do it even if it seems tempting.
Those pictures of the girl just sitting there next to the guy are disturbing on their own, but learning that the poor man survived and so he was just laying there bleeding out is a whole nother story
My heart dropped when the kid screamed...my eyes started tearing up immediately..I can’t handle kids screaming or shouting cuz it just gives me chills and I don’t cope like a normal person (it’s not that it’s annoying it just breaks me 😰)
You sound like an absolute sweetheart! I hope there were more people like you in this world! And ofcourse I agree with you, the child's screaming is absolutely chilling.
People who defend pedos and that Yandere are just laughable. I can't believe people are openly admitting to their perversion, I mean...I feel really bad for those who suffer from their condition and seek help, but these guys who act super proud of who they are are just...next level.
For dose of us that do like yandere stuff know that its fictional jest like how people can have crushes on fictional character. It's a weird trope that we Japanese just made. For some of us use it gives us comfort from pass abuse and trama. we know its fake. Apology for bad my English.
Pedophiles & child molesters _need_ to be punished exactly like murderers! We know, 100% guaranteed fact, they will not ever "recover"! So, why is this not law? Thinking we should start the processes in action to finally, put the bastards away for life. They cause the worst type of harm to society. They create a cycle of pain, torment, humiliation, trust issues & worse. Why not, such a harsh punishment? Once a child is 'hurt', they're 'hurt' for life. No amount of coucilling or talking can take away their memories, fears, terror, guilt, trust after not being believed, not being able to stop their attacker, knowing their attacker hurt other children. Plus, victims get to deal with degrading medical exams, photos of their privates, court systems, repeating their terrors. If the 'statue of limitations' hasn't run out. Or being blackmailed as _all_ religions do to these victims. I can go on for several pages, but I think you get my point. The abuse leads victims with the need to 'turn off' their emotions. They've been known to turn to drugs or alcohol to numb the pain. Some turn to over eating or sex. Some goes as far as harming their _own_ or others children. This monstrous fcking cycle _continues_ indefinitly! Let's stop this finally once & for all. Force pedophiles to work in prison for $0.03/day! Once guilty, they _never_ need to get out. They'll become slave labourers. Because at least then, they'd contribute _something_ positive to society.
@@Digitalhunny Nah, slavery is messed up and you still end up paying to keep them alive. Just compost them, that will be a cost effective way for them to contribute to society.

If you're talking about material containing the abuse or real children, instead of reporting to social media you must report it to some organization that deals with this (Internet Watch Foundation, Missing Children, INHOPE, etc) and to local authorities if you happen to know where the account is from. This prevents the site from taking the account, and the evidence, down before actual authorities can look at it because they may not report it at times. Also do not *ever* save any of this material for "proof" or make "call out posts". If you're, like some people do, talking about cartoons, then don't waste anyone's time or resources, don't expect it to be taken down and block the profile.

Adding onto the point that 爸爸 (baba) is mostly used by younger children with people in their teens usually using just a single 爸 (ba), 老爸 (old dad/old men) or 爹 (father/dad), thus further cementing the fact that the child shouting is likely below the age of 10 (probably younger)

A bit of perspective from someone who's from China regarding the 'internet addiction' issue in China I migrated out of China at a really young age with my mom, due to a lot of personal reasons I did not return to China until I was 14 years old, I went back alone without my mom with me. I've had a personal PC at a really young age and had a very strong interest in them, my job right now involved computers and specialized software knowledge. When I went back to China to visit my family, I had a lot of free time and would be on my laptop when everyone else was busy. My grandparents saw that and immediately took that as 'internet addiction', they discussed about sending me to those 'treatments'. I was too young to really understand what was going on but because I need to going back to the country I migrated to, they eventually dropped the idea. I didn't realise what sort of potential danger I would have been under and how fortunate I was to barely escape that fate. That was more than 10 years ago, I would say the situation is a lot better now with the advancement in technology and the conveniences it brings, but looking at this now, and remembering how certain my grandfather was that there was something wrong with me really scares me.

at that point, instagram taking away your abilities to report problematic content is basically their way of telling you to get off the platform/to put up or shut up and that they're going to protect problematic accounts instead of providing an unwelcoming environment for problematic communities to be in and they dont take accusations like that seriously. Regardless of whether people report things out of spite, pettiness, by mistake or misinterpretation of policy, that shouldn't matter one way or another on Instagram's part. Just because the girl is older doesn't mean it's any less creepy. Now kindly piss off and leave me alone
"the girl was the older one" Well there it is. No one gives a shit when the guy is the younger one. Believe me, I know. Starting at 16 I was with a girl that was 25 for a few years. Not. One. Person. said a damn thing and we weren't exactly keeping it hidden. I didn't even realize it was weird until I was 30-something and thought "how would people react if I had been the older one?" No one gives a shit when the girl is older, only when men are.
@BlueRaptorLea we have to use map and not pedophile because of how youtube treats this. you can get suspended for using the actual word and when people use it in videos its so it wont get demonitized and the video wont be hidden
@BlueRaptorLea I use them interchangeably because I think it's important that everyone is aware of what MAP means so they can avoid people like that. I have a lot of friends that didn't know what it meant and few of them had siblings that are like 6-14. If they knew what the word MAP means they can tell their younger siblings so they can avoid them
Good. I love listening to true crime/horror stories but it's so sad how bad it has been getting with people not treating victims & their families with discretion. Double edged sword, though.
@stockart whiteman To be fair, a certain recent shotgun self-termination and the Chris Evans 'America's Dong' leak have seen more respect from netizens lately. But yes, net material has a very low vanishing rate

To those not in the know MAP originally meant “Multi Animator Project’ and then twitter and tumblr pedos attempted to co-opt the term.
@@Digitalhunny I agree 100% with you but I know why its not. Because of pedophiles labeling themselves as a minority like they have there with that mapa or whatever the fuck they called it. this is a normal occurrence for Seattle?
On more than one occasion, I’ve reported child exploitation on Instagram with a nearly instant response with the a vague explanation of their decision that “it does not violate community guidelines”.
So frustrating.
Ya seems about right and then on Twitter if you report you usually get banned.

A bit of perspective from someone who's from China regarding the 'internet addiction' issue in China
I migrated out of China at a really young age with my mom, due to a lot of personal reasons I did not return to China until I was 14 years old, I went back alone without my mom with me.
That reminds me of Congress thinking playing GTA would make you slap around and kill prostitutes when you grow up. Its just complete ignorance by older people letting the world pass them by.

Yep I come across literal zoophilia, report it and they say theres nothing wrong with it. 99% is art but it's still creepy as shit especially since 1% ISN'T ART
at that point, instagram taking away your abilities to report problematic content is basically their way of telling you to get off the platform/to put up or shut up and that they're going to protect problematic accounts instead of providing an unwelcoming environment for problematic communities to be in and they dont take accusations like that seriously. Regardless of whether people report things out of spite, pettiness, by mistake or misinterpretation of policy, that shouldn't matter one way or another on Instagram's part. They should trust their users to be able to raise genuine issues when reporting and Instagram doesnt. I think policies like this are going to be instagram and twitter's ultimate downfall.
