I've had both shoulders freeze! It is so bizarre, I just did static stretching once the shoulders started to really unfreeze because you know, one false move when frozen and your life flashes before your eyes, the pain is unbelievable ... and a lot of ice and heat. No injections, no manipulation, 6+ years of my life was strange. Thanks guys, my right is still healing so I think I'll try these suggestions 🙏

They are wanting to do open mànipulation while asleep with injections do you think this is a good idea? Do you think it will help my shoulder?

    • @fingerprint5511

@@nonnie3404 hi, I really have no idea, maybe Google real life stories from people? I'd say it would be to release the tissue that has tightened up, this procedure? I do know that in general if surgery can be avoided, avoid it because it's extreme . Good luck, I know the pain and it is beyond excruciating so trust your instincts and intuition.

Pendulum swings, face fulls with a band, and band tears at various heights really helped. Using a door frame in place of the stick for Statue of Liberty is a good stretch. Putting the towel under the elbow to stabilize during external and internal band pulls. Eventually shoulder pressed with light dumbbells.
It was almost a year in the gym and I have recovered most of my range of motion, and I’m still working on my posture. I admit some days working with my trainer hurt like hell, but eventually the scar tissue breaks down and the cracking gets less prominent. I made more progress with my trainer at the gym that was a bodybuilder than I made with the physical therapist. PT focused solely on the joint vs. the trainer that worked more holistically on mobility and strength in my back, shoulders and upper arms. I work on new areas with bands if possible so I can discover how far I can safely take the movement, that takes a lot of fear of re-injury away. This time last year I couldn’t grab a gallon of water from the refrigerator because the impingement, this year I can plank and I’m back grooming dogs. Honestly, I made way more recovery than expected.

BIG MINNOW I just hit my one year since joining the gym and working with trainers. Wow what a difference. Breaking down the scar tissue hurt, but I have my movement almost completely back and the impingement barely catches anymore. Still some ranges of motion are weak but overall great improvement. Makes a huge difference lifting dogs and stabilizing their legs when I clip their nails. I’m way less fearful of strong dogs pulling on leashes.

When I take my 66lb dog for a walk he was constantly pulling on the leash. My right shoulder aches a lot. It’s just below the joint on the arm, it feels like it’s the top area of the Deltoid muscle. It comes and goes throughout the day. I bought a head lead and his pulling has gone down considerably. The pain is still there. What can I do to fix this? Thank you. Changing arms is not an option, as I do not want to ruin both sides.

Well, here I am again, running my mouth. I had my 3rd shoulder surgery in February 2018. The surgeon said I had another torn rotator cuff and spurs, so I hope they were all necessary. He did mention in our initial visit something about P.T., but that it might take a while and that it was up to me. I was tired of the months of pain and it was hard to function so I had the surgery. How can P.T. get rid of a tear of the spurs? I have osteoarthritis and have had cervical disc, partial (L) knee replacement and 3 shoulder surgeries. Now, my (R) knee is giving me fits! I'm SO tired of my joints wearing out and these painful surgeries. I wish there was a magic answer for it. I will tell you this, the Theracane and percussion massager works wonders for knotted muscles!
