Once again. Naboo is the MVP! “I looked at your junk and it called to me!” 😂😂😂😂😂
Imagine if they portrayed the show from Sol and Qimir’s perspectives and the audience believes that Osha is a traitor the whole time till we see there is a twin
Not enough boxes ticked.
I know that sounds an off-hand, jokey answer, but seriously, the sheer number of shows like this show what great stories we’re missing out on because of real-world obsession with demographics over there in Hollywood
Watched the entire Original Trilogy on 4th of July. I feel completely cleansed now.
Leslye: "We need someone to play this b*thcy boss Jedi but who..."
*her partner walks in*
Leslye: "Oh of course!"
Bazil is the Sith Lord, just wait! ;)
Fun banter in this video. When you have a guest on, Thor, you gain… The Power of Two
The Qimir scene reminded me of that one scene in Mulan where Shang takes off his clothes and Mulan is very obviously checking him out lmaoo
Omg yes!! Also the bath scene in Mulan haha
Naboo is hilarious and her points about Vernestra and the twins are so spot on! Jecki had potential to be a good character but there was so little of her. I think Dafne Keen should have been cast as the twins, I think she would have done a far better job.
Generation Tech actually did a really good video on breaking down some of the nuances in Jecki's character. I'll admit, though, her character still doesn't have much to her, I do have a newfound appreciation for what was there. Keen did deserve better.
In the clone wars, the separatists aren't bad. Neither is the Republic. Sidious who is manipulating both is the bad.
The Separatists feel criminally neglected when it comes to content. They'd have some interesting stories.
For the whole clone wars there was only a short arc with the separatist senator(Thor mentioned it in the episode) Dooku ordered her assasination and pinned it on the republic to rally the rest of the confederacy against them. It made good points about regular separatists being well meaning but manipulated by the sith, however it was way to brief to hammer the point home.
Most of the separatists we see actually are bad though, Dooku is dark side and the ones using droids like the Trade Federation are literally just in it for the cash, their most innocent faction shown in the prequels are likely the arms dealers and perhaps the hive minds like Geonosians i don't think ever had a clear reason to join beyond neglect/persecution.
Qimir's master is super obviously Koril
That's why he talks about the power of 2, just like the witch's chant.
Omg you’re so right. I would absolutely hate that but I bet that’s what they’re gonna do
@rosidaze8681 I don't want it either but that ties in his obsession with Mae/Osha, why Koril's body wasn't shown with the rest of the bodies, why we even got that flashback. Koril is the one who killed everyone and framed the Jedi because she was mad that everyone didn't immediately reject the Jedi being there and testing the kids.
If there was gonna be a character to utilize sexual tension for their advantage, a “sith” like Qimir is perfect. I mean theoretically, they have nothing against attachment/possessive love. And it’s not like we were gonna get to see Vader or Palpy take that approach
Yeah, evoking sexual attraction right after not only butchering her friends and love interest, but also nearly her at one point! 🤣
I guess she forgot he tried to kill her. I think he did too 🤔.
Or it's just bad writing 😏
I agree. I like the seduction of the dark side being literally seduction. I couldn’t see any of the dark sides from the movies other than Kylo taking that approach which they almost tried to do but failed with him and Rey
@@wolfmauler I 😰 like 🥰 emojis 😵💫 too 😏
@@wolfmauler in all seriousness, you may have missed this, but Osha was trying to kill Qimir for vengeance that episode, not sleep with him. So she’s not falling for him in a snap, that much was very clear. Yord and Osha were def not love interests, I have literally no clue where you got that. And he never tried to kill her, he tried to kill Mae (they’re actually played by the same actress, so an easy mistake to make if you’re busy eating paste). Qimir, at the end of episode 4, was interested in saving Osha to replace Mae, who he was ACTUALLY trying to murder the whole episode for betraying him. He was trying to capture osha and did. So yea, I stand by my initial comment. Complicating her emotions, making her angry, confused, resentful, all very sith imo
@@geoffreygill5849 Erm...I guess you missed it, but Jecki was the potential love interest.
The twins actor cannot act six episodes in and all she does is get knocked out and wakes up
There are a few too many convenient unconsciousnesses
For a long time too! 😬
She took a tiny tumble here, and stayed unconscious while her evil/good/confused/stupid/evil again Twin, undressed her & swapped clothes, then throughout being abducted and transported to "unknown planet" and into his bachelor lair. She's a sleepy one 😄💤
I agree that if they had built the show around Sol and Qimir, it could have been something worthwhile. But as long as they insist on doing these short episodes that don't allow for proper development and explanation, this show and others will continue to suffer. Look at a show like "House of the Dragon" where they take the time to do things right. Not counting the time for the credits, all 8 episodes of the "The Acolyte" will probably have a run time about equal to that of the extended edition of "Return of the King."
I still have "Jecki Lon has got it going on" in my head, especially after seeing clips of her getting taken out like a chump, hehe...
I think character focused episodes like this work better when the series has 12-20 episodes. Episodes like this are absolutely beloved in rebels or clone wars. The problem here is that we only have 8 episodes. And they’re only half an hour long. So it just feels like nothing is happening. It also doesn’t help that the series wasn’t released at once, which I think could fix some of the pacing issues. If there's anything to complain about, it's this 8 episode 30 minute run time format Disney loves.
I don’t know, this show is so frustrating to me because I genuinely really like Qimir and Sol, and the bones of what could be a really cool and good show are in there, it’s just the writing/dialogue is so bad. The length doesn’t help either. If it gets a season 2 I hope they listen to the criticism.
was never meant to be an 8 episode show, it's streched thin n cuts of it are horrendous
Yes! This. Episodes like this worked perfectly in TBB but not here and not with Dr Pershing episode in Boba Fett. (I think?) - With this short episodes they dont have the time for these sort of episodes.
No, it's not a runtime problem. The problem is that it's terribly written. So many scenes are just dead air that don't even do one thing properly let alone scenes doing multiple things at once as good scenes are written to do.
@@CarlWheatley-wi2clit’s confusing to me how bad the writing is. Because if you look at the writing team there are lots of really talented writers on it. Like two of the writers are on house of the dragon. I don’t understand because the dialogue is one of the best parts of Hotd and one of the worst things here. I wonder what happened. What did Disney say in that wiring room?
Kind, but fair 😉👍🏻
Re: droids and how they're treated/viewed in the galaxy, the old EU book Children of the Jedi by Barbara Hambly actually addresses the lines between mechanical and biological life pretty well imo. It's definitely different genre-wise than the rest of that era because it's fairly psychological, but it's totally worth checking out if you've got the time :)
Hahhha i thought the same thing as naboo at the beginning.
I think the 'Power of Two' doesn't mean the master and apprentice Sith philosophy, nor the goofy Witch's chant in episode 3; I think he actually is looking for that stupid Force Dyad thing that we see in The Last Jedi/Rise of Skywalker. I think Qimir wants both of the sisters as they together form a Dyad that he can exploit. They've portrayed both sisters as the most naive, dumbest women in all of SW. Both are gullible and fickle and everyone that reacts to them treats them so ignorantly as well. They either are immediately fond of one of the sisters upon meeting them or having not seen them in years such as Jecki and Yord, or you have Qimir trying to act like Mae's friend and secretly he is the Sith Lord (or whatever) which sounds so stupid, like something in a High School play, not a SW series, then he tries to kill her and pursues Osha. Osha after seeing everyone killed by this guy, is all turned on by him and now she is ready to do whatever he says, after only a few hours around him. Maybe it will be explained later what this all means, but as it stands after episode 6, this whole series is very poorly written and does indeed seem like fan fiction that someone wrote in High School. Wow, that is the now the best we can expect from Disney SW.
Best appraisal I've read so far 😏👍🏻
For me, if nothing else, I just wish there was more. I don't need a fight between Osha and Qimir before she begins to listen. I just want more conversation between all these characters. They're fine, but just brief.
I want to hear more from Qimir as he tries to persuade Osha to follow him.
I want Osha to go more into her conflicted feelings about the Jedi and killing Qimir.
I want Mae to go more into her conflicted feelings about Qimir and killing Jedi.
I want to hear more about the politics that is going on with the Jedi.
What is Vernestra thinking?
All of the scenes we had could have had more time to breathe and expand. Longer episode with a bit more depth.
And I don't know if that is a writer thing or a Disney thing. Did Leslye and the writing room say "30 minute episodes"? Or did Disney?
Could they have pushed back and said "release it in batches. Or all at once."?
I can only hope the last two episodes actually have depth to them.
One reason I think it’s brief is that they could only get approval after shooting scenes and that’s why most got cut. The other reason is that Jung-jae doesn’t know English so he is def struggles through scenes and being able to add to it. The last reason is the twins are played by 1 person that’s on almost 80% of scenes. Too many burdens.
Thor talking about the Qimir and Osha scenes @ 13:18
"…needed to be a little more beefed up, longer and more in-depth…"
I'm thinking Osha might agree.
I'll see myself out…
My wife had no interest in the show until episode 5 and now she’s watching every week solely because of Manny Jacinto lmao. If this show gets a season 2 it will be because of him
….says a lot about “star wars””

@@thepoeticbutcher3370 I mean not really, she doesn’t particularly like the prequels either
@@cozi7325 …..proved my point; she doesn’t like Star Wars; she’s watches for the dangling keys.
@@thepoeticbutcher3370 that was the point of my original comment, she and many others don’t like Star Wars but are watching this show because of Manny Jacinto
@@cozi7325 …..got ya; she is the new “star wars” fan base.
According to Disney.
I’m actually enjoying the show, but Qimir and Sol are doing a lot of the heavy lifting, and it's great. We don't know what darkness Sol is hiding, and Qimir is really doing a great job of sewing seeds.
In fact, part of me wouldn't be surprised if he is no longer "Sith" (I was convinced he was after last week's episode, now less so). Hard to say without knowing more, but I could see him having been an apprentice to a Sith Lord, but being cast aside.
I was also convinced that this week we would see what happened on Bendok, or at least be told more about it.
And instead, it doesn't feel like a lot was covered.
Even my wife said "That's it?" when the credits began. There were nice moments, good dialogue with Qimir, little things. But ultimately the pacing of the story and it being 30 min episodes and it being a week apart really kills the momentum and enjoyment.
I just wish all episodes were dropped at once, or at least, dropped in 2 or 3 batches. I feel like anyone watching the show when everything is out will have a better experience since the "necessary, but slow" episodes can be immediately followed up by the more engaging and revealing ones.
I'm going to be honest, I'm actually really enjoying The Acolyte. You definitely raise some valid criticisms, but overall, I think it's some of the best Star Wars Disney have given us in a very long time. And I know that's a controversial thing to say, but sue me, I'm enjoying it. Qimir is an interesting villain, I love the reintroduction of cortosis (again, sue me, but whatever), and I think Disney have gotten a little better with their choreography. There are definitely still problems, by no means is it a perfect show, but it is enjoyable.
I completely agree about the female characters, they’re pretty bad.
Also I like what Naboo said at the end about Qimir being Sol’s padawan
Naboo, you rock🤘
After witnessing the murder of the Jedi (one whom she knew for years), Osha discards years of Jedi training in just under 48 hours just because she got a glimpse of a Sith saber. - Worst Padawan of the Century.
Palpatine just needed to let his senate robes drop to the floor and Ani would have been his. Anakin has a proven weakness for senators after all lmao
The worst thing about this show the MC the twins we have no clue what is there motivation in anything they have done so far.
Mae: Survival and Reunification with Osha.
Osha: Freedom to make her own choices.
I think there was some sexual tension, but I don’t think Osha “fell in love” with Qimir
I don't know if anyone else feels the same, but with episode 1 and 2, I felt like "this is pretty bad, but I'm still kinda enjoying it", but by now, I'm pretty much like "please God, let it end, this is so embarrassingly bad it hurts".
Prediction: The twins are reversed: Osha was the one who started the fire. 2nd prediction: He is Darth Plagueis.
I can't imagine that the best people are working on these projects
Well, the Sith certainly fuck, like crazy.
I was here fast lol
Since the beginning, I've thought it's felts like it was Sci-fi channel show, and my buddies said CW show.
I like how 'in control' he was the whole time, even when Osha had a lightsaber right next to his neck.
It reminds me of in Andor, when Luthen first meets Andor, how in control of the situation that he was, even when Andor had a blaster pointed right up against his head (side-bar: Luthen didn't even glance at the blaster when it was pressed right up against his forehead).

Hi Thorband Naboo Sol understood it was Mae after she emade the "factory reset" on Pip. Pip's eyes turned red, cause she , the one who made the reset was evil.
"oh yeah, i'm probably gonna make a video on it and get alot of hate for it because ppl think i hate women... ?" lol!
Edit: One of my first time ever listening to Naboo and i must say you two sounds awesome!!!
Definitely agree with The Clone Wars largely negating the Separatist perspective. Ironic we actually got more of that in Bad Batch than the show where the Separatists are actually crucial to the plot.
Women love dangerous men, especially genocidal sith lords
So, fifty shades of star wars. Twilight, Osha and Qimir kissing in a tree.
Great!!!
That is star wars. Yes.
What better way to illustrate the seduction of the Dark Side than using actual seduction? And not just the "Manny Jacinto is a beef cake" kind...Qimir was challenging Osha's beliefs in the Jedi philosophy one by one and the best/worst part is that he was RIGHT on each one. That is certainly more realistic than a wrinkled space wizard cackling about "unnatural power."
I feel like some people are so caught up in the wave of hating on this show that they're not reading the text of the story. Giving in to anger, to grief, to loss is the easy thing to do. See Star Wars RUclips videos for an example. The writers are giving us a fresh, nuanced take on the same philosophy that George Lucas gave us 47 years ago.
What if Venestra was there maybe together with Qimir. Trying to get the twins, by infiltrating them
I wonder how big Qimir’s “meaty” lightsaber is down there, lol
Well... He is asian after all so...
I think you guys are being a little hard on the nature of the tonal shifts between scenes. To me this is very very Star Wars. How long did seeing his dead Aunt and Uncle linger with Luke and what impact did it have on any scene that followed? How long did Luke's apparent intense grief at seeing Kenobi die actually last in the story? How is it possible Leia was able to console Luke over the loss of a person he'd known for a couple of days at most so soon after seeing her entire planet destroyed? How much psychological character effect did that sight have on anything that was portrayed in the film after that? Star Wars scenes are about what is happening in that scene and that scene alone. In terms of emotional resonance at least. Therefore, it is as exemplified by Star Wars in the very beginning, entirely reasonable for horrible sights, terrible losses to happen without having a lasting psychological effect on character development as seen on screen because above all else it's the myth level of plot and story that matters the most. A a sequence of attempted cool scenes and sequences strung together as separate beads on a necklace of narrative. And then we debate later how deep or not what we have seen actually is
💯. It's almost like they forget what show they are watching.
Darth irst
All the rest of the dumb aside, under no circumstances should a show with an eight episode run, be having a flashback episode in the penultimate episode.
@thor I really do like this dark side seduction thing. Really embellishes what Yoda said about the dark side being seductive. With that said, it feels like they’re painting Stockholm syndrome in a positive light (for now). I really hope the next episodes clears things up and condemns this kind of abuse. I’ve worked with DA victims and Stockholm syndrome is nothing to glorify.
I enjoyed this episode. Qimir is easily the most interesting character in the series, and I think the show would've been better if it was all about him instead of the twins. The Sol and Mae scenes were mostly good, though he should've realized it was her sooner. I assume next week will be another flashback to Brendok told from Sol's perspective, which I guess I'm interested in. The weakest part was Vernestra, who continues to be an emotionless robot, and the idiot Padawan, who looks at the dead Jedi and assumes Sol did it. At least the orange dust was just dust and not hallucinogenic spores.
I see a lot of people in the comments and other places complaining about Star Wars being “sexualized” but I’m not sure I agree with that.
After all, it was George who said there was no underwear in space, dressed Leia in a skimpy bikini, and many of Padme’s outfits could be considered “sexy.” Not to mention twilek prostitutes, Aayla Secura’s outfit and young Ahoksa being put in a crop top and mini skirt. Plus Bix stripping down to her underwear in Andor. There’s plenty examples of that in Star Wars so it’s kinda weird to see people complaining about it here.
I guess the difference is in whether you are upset about the objectification or only the double standard.
For decades women in media were reduced to only objects which created a negative cultural reaction to modern media objectifying women more than there is to men.
Ultimately humans are sexual creatures who like seeing sexy humans, so if it can be done with respect I have no problem with it.
It can still go too far, even with men however, like playing off forcefully stripping Chris Hemsworth as a joke, in Thor: Love and Thunder was not ok.
That was Thor: Love and Thunder... 😉
@@tomlewis4205 oops you’re right!
Qimir will be revealed to be a lost Jedi padawan who the witches mind controlled to make their Jedi/Witch babies. Possibly Vernestra's padawan, which is how Sol kind of knows him. The big reveal will be that rather than rescuing him, Sol blew up the incubator machine with Qimir in it and that's how Qimir got his scars and also how the witches all died.
Sith Thirst Drip. 😂
To be honest, the Acolyte isn't as bad as some of the internet howlers claim (especially those that appear to lean into a certain ideology). Still flawed, they should've put more focus on Sol and Qimir, who are far more interesting than the twins. Given the huge amount of hate it got before ever even releasing a single episode, I suspect that a lot of the reviews were already slanted. So far, I'd rate it as 'above average' in general, but amongst the other Disney Star Wars shows it'd be in the upper tier, although that's because Disney has repeatedly dropped the ball on many of their Star Wars shows.

I’d like to point out that not only did he kill her friends, he kidnapped her to an unknown planet (certainly she doesn’t know where she is) where she has no means of escape unless she learns to fly his ship, and then exposes himself to her. And Leslye headland calls this “showing vulnerability.” No, it’s not. It’s a string of crimes. Even if she has control of the lightsaber, he is well trained in the force and can easily overpower her at any time. If she does manage to kill him, she’s trapped alone on this planet.
This is disgusting and the idea that anyone, much less the former personal assistant of a man who is notorious for exposing himself to women, could think this was in any way an acceptable start to a relationship is bonkers.
Not to mention, Qimir tried to kill Osha twice, he stole Mae's ship, and I don't think he had a logging permit either.
@@briscocreighton3376 yeah but in Leslye headland’s mind, as soon as he shows the goods, the woman is too stunned by his sexiness to remember any of that. Bet she thinks weinstein’s victims should have been grateful. Or maybe she’s insinuating that as long as the man is good looking, women will think being kidnapped is sexy. To me, this should be the nail in the coffin on her career - at least until she can prove she understands why her former boss was arrested and tried for egregious crimes against women.

Thanks for watching it for me. From what my wife says who is still watching it your reviews are better than anything she’s watching 😂
If this was a thousand years before the prequels and Qimir was Sol’s former Padawan who went rogue to become an apprentice under the radar of the Jedi, and it’s about Sol discovering the truth on his own, yet in a desperate, high stakes circumstance, has to kill Qimir in a fight that takes both of their lives, keeping the truth hidden until many years later, (or something like this) that would be way more interesting.
I think the whole Sith thing in this series is wrong. Sort of hope Disney Willows the series.
13:54
TLDR (used ChatGPT to shorten it for me);
My theory on "The Acolyte" is that Sol's first student was Qimir, but Sol noticed evil tendencies in him. Sol warned Qimir against using dark powers, but Qimir didn't listen. Vanestra saw this happening and told Sol about Qimir's dark side. Sol asked Vanestra to erase his memory of Qimir, and she did before banishing Qimir. This explains why the Jedi seem flawed, with a bit of a Disney twist. I figured this out from clues in their conversations. Qimir's familiarity with Sol, even though Sol can't remember him, Qimir having a red lightsaber, Qimir knowing about Sol's mind-reading ability, and their talk during a fight showing Qimir's understanding of the Jedi.
Full explanation how I came to this theory.
The Acolyte, my theory goes as follows. (This was during the episode 5) I think Sol's first Padawan was Qimir, but Sol sensed the evil brewing in him. Mind reading also helped, I'm sure. Sol told Qimir that it is forbidden to use dark powers, but Qimir was against it, wanting no leash. Vanestra, watching from a distance, saw the trouble brewing. She confronted Sol and made him aware of her knowledge about Qimir's dark side. Sol requested Vanestra to erase his memory of Qimir, and Vanestra complied, then banished Qimir. Yes, this makes the Jedi look bad with a Disney touch. All of this is just a theory, of course. Below, I explain how I came to this conclusion.
1st clue
Qimir: "You don't remember me?"
Sol: "I sense something familiar."
Sol gets that familiar feeling of a past Padawan he can't remember because Vanestra erased his memory. Alternatively, this exchange could be Sol sensing Qimir but unable to pinpoint it, as if Qimir were just someone he encountered earlier in his investigation when they caught and started questioning him.
2nd clue
Sol: "You carry a Jedi weapon. But you are no Jedi."
To me, this suggests that Qimir has had his own Padawan/Jedi lightsaber the whole time, which he bled red sometime during his transition into a Sith being, or maybe Qimir killed a Jedi in the past and stole it, then bled it red.
3rd clue
Sol: "You trained Mae. Show your face!"
Qimir: "And let you read my thoughts? No, no, no..."
At this part, it also suggests that Qimir remembers Sol's ability to read minds because it was used on Qimir more than once during their time as master and apprentice.
4th clue
Sol: "What master hides his face from his pupil?!"
Qimir: "You tell me."
This implies, in my opinion, that Qimir remembers his master Sol and how he really was.
These lines occur during their first round of fighting. And that's why Qimir knows so much of how the Jedi work.
The power of maaaaaaaaaaneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey……this show is hot trash 🗑️ 😂
I still think Venestra will turn out to be the Sith master. A female the could infiltrate the Jedi not only the senate as Palpatine did. She must be otherwise sheets just the most boring character ever
I thought at first that Bazil told Sol about Mae, too, but then, wasn't Yord the only one who could speak Bazil's language?
Here's my issue: What happened to Yoda's injunction: "Once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny...consume you it will....". I mean THAT is what makes Luke's decision in the Emperor's Throne room so powerful, poignant and precarious: Luke can't just hopscotch over to the darkside and then shuffle back to the light. The addiction to thinking and acting selfishly - and drawing power from that extreme self-interest - is ITSELF ADDICTING. So how is Mae like switching back to the light with no issues...even after killing 2 Jedi in cold blood? The same could be said for Kylo Ren seeing his mother in a vision and poof! he changes! Vader being redeemed was meant to show that Yoda was mistaken...BUT...Yoda could not have concluded that the dark side was all consuming unless that had been his observation for about 800 years!
I agree with Naboo here, it’s very weird. We went from the sith exposing himself to a gopher stepping on Mae’s toes and her getting inked in the eye by a Gameboy. Is this for kids? Or what?
Leslie should do what's best and answer as many questions by the end as possible while giving a good conclusion. Then season 2 can focus heavily on how this connects to Plageus
ok, here we go.... It's ALL a "dream" ! The witches used their magic to fake their deaths and create the illusion of the fortress burning down. Episode 8 ends with Mae and Osha back as little kids and Osha, now having experienced the dream, no longer wanting to go with the Jedi, and Mae being less evil... The Jedi leave and boom, everything is back to status quo.
They do spend half the show asleep or waking up from concussions.
@@stevena.7022 begun the Sleepwalker Saga has... oh wait, almost over already. Yes... when the witches put the jedi in the black-eye'd mind-trance indicates they have mental powers, so putting everyone into shared illusion could totally be a thing. So yeah, turns out it was all a dream at the end. There is no Stranger in reality. Yorg and Jecki don't even really exist, etc. Master Soul is about to tell Mae that HE SUSPECTS they are trapped in a dream next episode! Believe It! Hear him saying, "this charade has gone on long enough!"
episode 1 of the Sleepwalker Saga... The Handsome Menace
@ chileanyways196 2 hours ago (edited): I think Qimir should be called “The Handsome Menace”
I can't believe I'm saying this but somehow this intentional shipping (according to Headland in an interview) is even worse than Rey and Kylo forming a relationship. At least in The Last Jedi we can understand that Rey is lost and lonely and that Kylo felt betrayed by Luke. Even though it doesn't make much sense at least we are given a reason. On the other hand we are not given any reason for Osha being seduced other than the fact that she failed as a jedi??
In the interest of fairness, can we have a sexy woman in Star Wars again now? Attack of the Clones and Return of the Jedi were a long time ago.
Have you seen Bix?
Man I do not care for the dialogue in this show. I find everything Qimir says so pretentious and unconvincing. Not every sentence has to be a riddle and or proverb
I’m already seeing people trying to justify her falling in love by comparing it to anakin a padme situation, both completely different
I love it and since you are just being subjective,I’ll just leave at that.
Star Wars universe can not write proper romance at all. Closest they got maybe was Luke Skywalker Mara Jade romance and that was from EU novels unrelated from LucasArts story group
This is a badly written fan film at best
If the roles were reversed and Qimir was checking out an Osha in the same way, I’m sure there would be tons of backlash. It really is just someone’s fan fiction
It's funny how people always bring up slave Leia outfit being sexiest, but in this show alone, we've seen yord shirtless, and smilo ren naked
Smilo Ren:
"A Sith only pulls his lightsaber to seduce.... if you know what I mean...😏😏😏".....
This is my least favorite of the bunch so far and yes, it could had worked better if they put some thoughts into how Sol not discovering Mae, like if he was heartbroken over losing team and Could not sense her until he get back up.
Qamir Osha was better but it felt really short and could had worked if Qamir has bern trying to corrupt her more over the series.
I like the series and enjoy the ride but boy they have some od writing and phasing at times.
Either they try to be so clever that they tricked themselves or they are so smart that it only will make sence once we got the whole story or someone at LF cut it badly just to fit theyre format.
Its so vague written that its hard to understand where they are going and its often beginers misstakes in drama classes.
I just enjoy the ride and try not to scratch my head to much but I really hope they stick the landing.
(And yes, I DO like the show but it could have been so much better if they just change a few things here and there.)
Truth!!
Qimir took clothes off in a crappy TV show
Leia wore a bikini in a crappy movie.
Both scenes suck!
Hated this episode, it was boring and went basically nowhere. Bad writing to fill the 8 episode bill. There's not much to say, just give me Plagueis and stick the landing.
I still think this show is okay, certainly nothing spectacular. But the rushed pacing means things just end up choppy and unexplained. The writing is sloppy and all over the place. There are more questions than answers, and not in a good way. And Osha and Mae are just plot devices that get moved about the story because they need to be there, not because it's natural for their character. Osha and Qimir could be a great direction for the story to go in, but that's the kind of thing that needs to be a carefully written slow burn.
