In the 80’s that would have been a pool and street stick ✊ Well done for the warm up 🆙 that’s essential for those over 30 😜. Late 70’s I had a lonnie toft 8 wheeler (I wish I still had that board so much 😉)and I built a massive in my backyard which I used to shred on that board! I was only very young but boy I could fly on that board!! I’ve still got a few of my old boards plus a few I bought overseas . Great video and your shredding brother ✊
@@blueybarnes9442 ah cool 👌🏻Street stick, never heard that term used before. Your old board sounds awesome and I bet would be worth loads now although the sentimental value is always greater in my opinion. I’ve never had my own ramp, come to think of it I was a Flat Rat growing up so didn’t even have a garden to put one in🤣 The warm is vital for me now I’m over 30… 😉👴🏻
Looking forward to seeing you explore and hit some street spots! Awesome to see you back doing the shuvs and the no complys! Fakie Ollies are looking great too! The disused pavilion is a great spot because nobody can argue about you skating there. 🤣loved the shout out! I have centres all over the country. Such an awesome video, a bit of everything there
@@DadLeisureSkateboarding Thanks Scott!! Didn’t realise quite how much I’ve missed it to he honest. The pavilion is so crusty and the step it’s just crumbling away with added to the challenge 🤣 Appreciate your kind words pal. The last flat ground trick is a Nollie but I guess it’s a fakie Ollie if I skated goofy footed…🤷🏻♂️
Welcome back man!! 👊 I don't stretch either. I usually warm up just by rolling around and doing so ollies and shuvs before getting into the good stuff. But I work nights in a grocery store (15 years now!!) That in itself is a 8 hour work out.
Cool little side spot. That's my favorite, getting some clips on what seems like nothing. I also like to cruise a nice bicycle path 🤙🏻 I think it's cool how you set the camera down and just skate, not much editing. Keepin' it real
Great to see you back Simon!!! Great little sesh and yeah I stretch 15 minutes before and 15 minutes after each session I don’t have a choice my body would hate me for days if I didn’t! lol You still got it brother!!
@@VintageSk8. Thanks Wes, much appreciated! I’ve learnt the hard way but from now on I’ll have a routine. Not skating for a little while has given me time to reflect on what it means to me and I have a healthier appreciation towards it now👊🏻
@@boardtrippin Thanks! I enjoy riding the Bowl shape and its stability but prefer the popsicles so I can wrap it around easier. Yep I moved to Devon, Dawlish about 12 years ago, originally from Bedfordshire 👍🏻

glad to see you rolling about and whackin out some tricks. Such a good idea to have the longboard for cruising about on. looks like great fun
@@TheHypotheticalSkater Thanks bud ✌🏻
Yes!!!!! Crack on!!! 🙌 Glad to see you back it, think with a little work that spot could be a slappy curb spot.
