I've been skating for 20+ years, and in 97-03' you had five videos to choose from and watched them over and over and over. Then you get another video 8-12months later... This video took me back to that time and place before the world crushed my spirit. This video killed it. Jamie knows that look and feel that got me hooked on the wood. The vx footage, the music. Especially the spot selection of unique street. That must've been waiting 30+ years for someone to bring these spots to life. It takes YEARS to find these original landscapes for us. LOVE IT JAMIE!.. It is weird getting a hard on for vx footage makes me feel like a senior citizen In my community... Go outside and fucking skate!

Havran has been at the very top of my list ever since DOA.... glad to see he's getting a chance to show it to a larger audience now. Dude is the truth and has it all... TONS of pop, tasteful trick selection, and everything is video game perfect in execution but not lacking style like the robokids you see so often these days.
Dude.... the tailslide at 3:40... Difficulty, creativity, downright silliness plus the fact that he literally trimmed the nose so it would fit... Straight up engineering. All in one trick. This is what I love about skateboarding. It is what you make it. It is what you want it to be. Art? Sport? Hobby? Community? Gnarly activity for total bad asses? Casual pastime for dorks? Thrill coaster for adrenaline junkies? Technicality for the nerds? Creative? Mind bending puzzle? Mode of transportation. Yes. Skateboarding is all of them.
27 years later and it’s the same raw gnarly clips it’s always been. Zero has always stood out for pushing the edge in street skating. These skaters are the gladiators of our time.
I hope Zero never changes - these vids just keep getting better and better while still being so nostalgic. they always bring me back to an amazing era of skateboarding.

The tricks and the style applied seems to be a trend in Zero skaters, and I find that so cool! The amount of intention is unprecedented. Skating since '96 and fan of Jamie and his board company since forever!!!
zero needs to do kotr. anthony vega alone needs to go pro right now. the creativity and fluidity of that one foot tailslide is the stuff of legends. one of my favourite tricks and spots since marquise henry's inward heelflip to five-o.
