Haven't heard Beach House track on a skate part since a Cory Kennedy x Sk8rat video a loooooong time ago. Song was Walk in the park. Didnt knew the title until a at the time crush of mine played it to me. I have the best associations with the Beach house sound since and it gave me goose bumps to hear it on a Shane O'Neills part in 2024. Love Shane. Love Beach House.

Skate parts have become sort of like the music industry for me…so much stuff comes out it’s hard to get excited about even the good stuff. This is truly an exception 🤩

I’m not even going to lie, this part made my heart smile. I met Shane at Gin mill (Denver CO) 13 years ago, (and I was dressed like a dork, with penny loafers and hair gel… ) when I’ve been a skater to the core since Kindergarten.. I was in that crowded bar, on a Saturday night, literally passed him face to face and knew it was Shane right away. I jus gave him the praise and recognition he deserved, shook his hand and was soo geeked. Missed a photo, missed an autograph, but just being people, and meeting him in that moment is something I will always remember. Much love to you Shane 🙏
Absolutely amazing part. The way Shane does a variety of the hardest, biggest, fastest and most technical tricks but the way he glides on his skateboard and makes them look effortlessly beautiful is what I enjoy and and WOW'd at the most.

I was 14 when Shane Goes came out, and it was the first time I had ever listened to beach house. I now look at Shane Goes as a significant moment for me for that reason. I’m 23 now, and we got another Shane Goes with a beach house track 🥹

Damn. I remember his 2014 part being the video that really got 12 yo me hooked into skating, watching it everyday; learning of VX, analyzing why Shane's tricks were considered tech, all that. A decade later here I am still skating, watched a ton of parts, favored many different styles of skating, grew out of love with Shane as a favorite skater and saw a lot of other styles and approaches to skating. Gotta thank Shane for being one of those skaters that acted as the catalyst for my love of this wooden toy, his style is forever imprinted into my memory lol.
