Cooling solution hits the limit on Ryzen 3! It's a waste for Ryzen 5 or 7 then unless you want high temps, noise or low performance.

very good point.
this should be a dedicated ryzen 3 machine.
except that amd suggests the octa core ryzen 7 has a 15W tdp, which is why they built it identically for all 3 apus
