@@chrisatlas4503 I think Furina is a bit better character than Citlali but I also think you're underestimating Citlali cause you can somewhat replace Furina with Yelan but you can't generally replace Citlali in those specific teams because her application moves with the onfield character, she shreds 20 Pyro and hydro resistance and gives 40% buff through scroll set. Yes Furina gives 75% team damage buff but only at max fanfare which takes time but she doesn't shred resistance. The two things in my opinion Furina has is that she works in most teams and she had personal damage but to be fair recent carries do so much damage that the personal damage of sub dps becomes negligible.

I‘m just super happy about the pairing! Wrio is my main, I‘m going to pull for his C1 and weapon anyway. Losing to Furina‘s signature weapon is so much less painful than the other two.
yeah the weapon banner is really the best outcome but i hope the 4 star character and weapon are not bad. hoyo likes doing that and give the bad or niche 4 stars to good banner. Sayu, Chongyun and Mika haven't rerun in a while.

Underselling Furina here, especially after Xilonen's release. I get that she not best in slot for most characters now, but it can't be understated how versatile she is. If you ever play your on-fielders in more than one team, get Furina. If you want one character that's good for almost all on-fielders, get Furina. If you're still building your account and don't know your main on-fielders, get Furina. If you don't like Citlali, get Furina. If you like playing 4-star dps, get Furina.
@ Not everyone wants to play the best character 100% of the time. I skipped Mauvika & Citlali because I don't like them. I play Clorinde Electrocharged sometimes even if it's only her 3rd best team. I never play her in Aggravate because I don't enjoy it. I'm here to have fun, so who cares what's ceiling? If you want to play strictly the highest dps all the time, be my guest, but it isn't necessary to clear the abyss or any content, and I enjoy versatile characters that can be used in multiple team comps because that's more fun imo. Besides, if you only chase ceiling and get niche units to do so, some day you'll probably stop using them. Having someone versatile regardless of ceiling means you'll use them for a long time. Besides, Furina fills a LOT of roles in a lot of teams. She might be a 2nd best, but would you rather buy 1 2nd best, or a best in slot for each a specific team? I'll save my primos and go with the former.
Getting Furina is like a new chapter, she changes accounts forever. U may have new Natlan supports, but she gives you so many more options for team building.

I do think this is underrating Furina slightly, but certainly agree that she's not a must pull. IMO she's arguably better now than she was a year ago because of Xilonen, but there are also more good options for some of the best teams so she could be argued to be less important. Still think she's better than CItlali though, people are overhyping her like crazy just because she's great in two teams.
If you look at the viable teams its easier to make one team without Furina than it used to be, but making two Furinaless teams is almost exactly as difficult as it ever was.
You don’t get it. Furina is still great, but Citlali took her spot in some teams even if it’s just as you say, two teams. She’s no longer the best in everything and people now have options to not get sick of her. How preposterous! Right?
I dont think anyone is saying Citlali is better than Furina. Citlali just allowed forward melt to finally be more than viable for many teams. Add to that her shield for interrupt resistance, and you have a pretty good unit to replace Furina for Pyro carries.
Okay, here’s some positive Sigewinne discourse, because everyone is always so negative about her: Firstly she is the most convenient, easy and simple to use healer in the entire game, especially when it comes to full party healing. Just press her skill and switch off, and she’ll keep you alive no matter how many hits you take. You can completely ignore ER and her burst if you only want to use her healing. Secondly, because of this, the Furina/Sigewinne core makes team building super simple if that is something you value. Just add any DPS and Sub DPS and BOOM; you have a solid functional team, and simple rotations. Thirdly, her burst can do a surprisingly solid amount of damage if you build her for it, even on a healer build. Just put her on SoDP set and build her for Hp and crit stats, maybe some ER if you really care about her burst, but no pressure. She’ll basically clean up any weak mobs around that you don’t want to start another DPS rotation on. (Her bow and cons are helpful for this but not necessary) Fourthly, her team building can be super fun, honestly. Since she’s so flexible, there are a million teams she can fit into and a bunch of different play styles you can experiment with. My personal favourite that I saw from Soluna on YT, is the Dehya/Emilie/Furina/Sigewinne team, which uses Dehya and Sigewinne as burst DPSes, and it can be super fun. Also, I’ve actually found her to be a surprisingly good addition to the Kinich/Emilie/Mavuika team. She buffs Emilie and Mav a bit here, but mainly she provides a couple fun burgeons without fully interrupting the burning reaction. Actually, due to her limited but present Hydro app she can really help Mav re-trigger burning and reset the Scroll set buff. TLDR: she’s more complicated than people give her credit for. Pull her if you like her, but also if you’re a casual in need of healing/specifically a healer for Furina and you find team building complicated, or if you like to play around with cool off-meta teams. Also if you value always having a healer and a bow character in your party for exploration. Personally I have her C0R1, and I use her way more than I ever expected to. I find her team building fun and she gives me an excuse to not use Xilonen or Bennett in every single team (which always frustrates me). I really want to try to pull some cons for her, because that’s even more options for fun experiments, but unfortunately I want Wrio more and I’m broke. 🫠

May I ask your thoughts on the stat thresholds for her? I have a bunch of SoDP set from grinding Navia and purposely saved a lot of HP%. Would like to know whats an ideal Crit ratio, HP number and maybe ER (130% to Burst every so often and not off cooldown?) I dont have enough pulls to even think of getting her Signature but I do have Recurve bow at least.
I'm part of that (possibly) tiny fraction of people who pulled for Siegwinne because I think she's adorable and I like being off-meta. Even then, I don't regret it at all. She's up there with my Baizhu for "best team healing" and she's always managed to keep her team alive in the endgame stuff. Just like every other character in Genshin (yes, even QiQi)- if you want to play them, you CAN make them work somehow.
I have him at c1 r1 and he's perfect, hope you get lucky with your 50/50's!!! I'm pulling Sigewinne FOR my Wriothesley so furina, Sigewinne, and shenhe can do silly freeze teams I can use Xilonen, but I prefer Sigewinne lol
I've been farming for him for weeks. Haven't built a single character. Mora, talents, artifacts, I should be able to get him to at least lvl 80 on day one.

For non-meta players, it's true. For meta gamers, it's not. Jello's content is more aimed at casuals, not people trying to min/max everything. Although, some of his takes are... awkward at times.
@@mjs3188 At C0 you need to think of Furina as taking two slots in the team. Unless you have enough to get her to C2, you need to run a teamwide healer like Baizhu, Kokomi, Jean, etc with her. If you think about team building like this, there are many good replacements for her. Yelan/Xingqiu for replacing her hydro app and sub DPS, plus one of Xilonen, Citlali, or Kazuha for buffing/support. These units can all be run at C0 and will perform just as good if not better than C0 Furina plus healer.
It's arguable whether Furina is still #1 or not, but she's still undoubtedly in the very top characters. She's incredibly versatile, has excellent synergy other top units, and does more damage than most off-field units on top of that. Sure you'll do like 300k more damage on Mavuika with Citlali, but Furina will deal about that much more damage than Citlali does so the team damage is a lot closer than people say. If you main Arlecchino and Mavuika PLUS you already have Citlali, that's basically the one case I'd say you can skip semi-easily. IMO her and Xilonen are the 2 closest things to must pulls this game has. I also think Citlali is a bit overrated for general use. She's great with Mavuika and for the 10 peoplle that play Gaming (also can be good with Arlecchino and Chasca), but she does require not just spamming like most players do, and she really doesn't do much or anything for 90% of all carries outside of the current meta. For example, if the meta characters a year from now are Electro and Cryo, Citlali would be collecting dust while Furina would still be great in those teams.

Ngl, Citlali can still actually do an okay amount of damage. My underbuilt Citlali with 800EM and lvl 7 ult can melt her ult up to 120k+ per rotation on Mavuika's team. It's not that much compared to Furina, though.
I missed out on her on her first two banners. First time cause I wasn’t interested, and second time I was investing in yelan cons. BUT now I’m preparing to get her. Unfortunately I might end up just getting C1 if I’m lucky. Is C0 alright or would it be difficult to use her without her cons?
I got lucky and pulled her weapon and c2. The off field dmg is kinda nuts. She carries every team just by being there. You can just stand there or run in circles and still deal good dmg. 😂 Good luck!
When furina was released i got her and during her first rerun I got c2. No regrets. As for her weapon I recomment chiori's weapon especially if played with xilonen. I tried to get xilonen's weapon but got chiori's without having here. I was wondering if that weapon worked well with xilonen but suddenly noticed my furina. Rest is history.
As someone with C2, DO IT!!! She's does so much damage and you get max fanfare so fast. I might get her weapon this time around since it's finally not paired with Sigewinne's
I am definitely going all in for Wriothesley. wo knows when we will see him again. Waiting so long for a Character shouldn't be a thing. Still don't get the point of gatekeeping him for so long after all the other fontaine characters got a rerun. I am going for his C1 and his weapon. I have 180 pulls and a guarantee so i should be fine.
Also imo Furina is still the best character in the game. For the Mualani argument use a charge attack to switch her to Pneuma before getting to Mavuika! It allows Mavuika (or any pyro app) to clear the hydro and apply Pyro so Mualani can vape easier without clunk! Imo the slight damage loss from Furina's pets not being on-field is perfectly fine bc Mualani is nuking much more consistently. And it also doesn't hurt Furina too much in the energy department either bc for one, I run her on fleuve, but two, Mualani is also hydro and so she can help Furina with particle generation. And tbh, my Navia does way better with my Furina than a double Pyro with Mavuika. Granted, my Furina is C1 and better built than my Mavuika so far, but I tend to like using Navia later in the rotation and Mavuika's front-loaded buff doesn't work as well for me as a more back-loaded one like Furina's. Also I just think Furina's sub-DPS is better than Mavuika's in that team. So I would still say she's BiS for Navia.
I'm a major Furina shill but I still don't recommend her on Mualani teams. Mona is honestly so much easier to use and very competitive. On basically any other team min the game though she's goated
meta shifts. Pre Natlan Furina was top 3. Now she isnt. Metawise. She is still very good. But MAvuika, Arli, even at c0 Neuvi prefer Ctilali/xilonen Genshin is steping on powercreep :/ who knows. It may be that Furina will be Bis for Skirk or Tsaritza but probably they will sell other busted supports
If you're just gonna make Furina into a healer with a slowly ramping buff, why not just run Candace or some other buffer instead? You can't even enable the buff anymore as you don't drain your own HP in the healing mode unless you tank a lot of hits from the enemies or use burning or something, meaning that her buff will possibly never go beyond 20% even lol. Also if you have her C1 then naturally she is better than most c0 characters lol.
Currently my Wriothesley is at C0R1 and he is very well build. Pretty much can do 90k-100k melt damage so yeah, his signature is a big upgrade to his damage but he's very tied to Bennett/healer without his C1. I've been saving 500 pull for him to get C6. Wish me luck!
@@snakeop4777 as another Wrio haver going for c1, I’ll say right now that there are no characters too weak for overworld, and few characters too weak for theater minus some of the worst characters in the game. Now, that being said, Wriothesley is a genuinely good character, he just isn’t Neuvillette level. Wrio can clear any content, and so long as it’s not the Cryo hypostasis he’ll function and be both fun and viable.
furina c1 is 25% upgrade for the whole team damage, and c2 is huge furina dmg buff and way faster fanfare stacking that make even benett enough to stack fanfare easy
25 damage percent doesn't equal 25% more damage, it just gets added to all the other damage% buffs like artifact bonuses and goblet main stats. It's still a great constellation but It will definitely not improve your DPS by 25%
@@jthompson7024the point is that c1 will do more for the team than your main dps c1/weapon. Maybe its not exactly 25%, but it also starts with quarter of fanfare stacked already which may be more than 25% buff for teams that struggle stacking it up fast. Like it really depends but its generally a very very good constalation

Wriothesley was my first ever 5*. I skipped neuvi and saved for him, pulled for him, and he came home a bit early at 48 pity. Got his c0 and have comfortably played with him ever since. I have zero regrets and I love him to pieces. I know weapon is a better damage increase, but it makes my heart happy to know my first ever 5* will also be my first ever limited character to get a constellation so that's what I'm going for. If I have primos left over, I'll burn it all for his weapon quite happily. I have a soft spot in my heart for wriothesly and I'm looking forward to seeing more wrio mains - I already have my bragging rights as an og wrio main but I'm over it and just wanna see him out in the wilds of co-op more often now LMAO
Another Furina team worth mentioning is any xianyun plunge teams, since you max fanfare pretty easily. I use the pair with Yelan for plunge Klee and it's surprisingly one of my best teams.
dude, you really need to dial down the meta talk and comparisons, there are two halves in the abyss and even a crappy siegwinne team will clear if you know how to play, don't get too into a characters fault and completely ignore to say something like siegwinne being unreliant on energy for a full party heal, while xilo is completely single target, doesn't matter as much but it's still worth noting
This! Like the difference between full party healers and single target healers can be huge if you’re a “skill issue” player, but Jello seems to completely disregard that.
I'm just happy there is no Inazuma chronicled wish YET cause I need a break to save some primos for my number 1 mermaid kokomi.. I'm rolling for Mizuki 100% but now i'm contemplating if I should roll for either her weapon or Furina's since she is one of my top 5 favorite must have characters.. Gotta be wise haha
Furina isn't Cyno's only option, but with both +Baizhu+Nahida you can run Cyno without an Electro Goblet. I run mine with EM, EM, Crit and he can deal with the majority of bosses, but he stil has a problem with multi-waves
Before you pull for Furina's weapon, make sure you have her at C4 or else you might end up with ER sands instead of HP%. Her best performance C0~C3 is with ER weapon such as the pipe or festering since both provide ER and Crt Rate. You only use fav if you don't really care about her personal damage all that much.
Furina's signature weapon is more damage than any alternative (unless you have c6 and use her enhanced NAs, in which case Chiori's signature is slightly better), even if you have to run an ER% sands to use it. However, _all_ of her constellations are a bigger damage increase than her signature weapon.
You can use Key (+ ER Sands) if you happen to have it (I think I got it when I was trying for some other weapon) and especially if the team benefits from the EM buff. ER sands aren't an issue due to the insane amount of %HP Key gives. I think Key is also very close or even as good as her signature if playing her in forward Vape.
I like to use Furina & Sigewinne for AFK Impact. I pair them with Nahida and Raiden in the overworld. I just press the skills and everything gets passively hyperbloomed to death while Sigeeinne keeps the health always full.
A good team for Sigewinne is making Mavuika reliably proc the Scroll set in a Kinich team with her burst Just make her wear SoDP so she can buff all kinds of damage as well on top of Elemental Skills
I used Wriothesley with Pyro traveler, Dehya, and Citlali to beat the abyss this time around! I do think that his C1 takes off alot of restrictions so I would personally recommend that over his weapon first* but his weapon is extremely powerful for him as well.
I find Seigwinne really easy to use as a healer, but she contributes almost nothing to the team's offense. At least it's fun having her swim-jump off the surface of the water.
No we won’t. The best 4 stars are older characters like Xingqiu, Fischl, Xiangling, & Bennett. Most players already have them; Xiangling is free, Bennett was literally just on banner with Mavuika, and XL and XQ will be available during lantern rite, AND they’re all available in the starglitter shop anyway. The best new 4 stars are Chevreuse and Lan Yan, who are on banner right now.. I genuinely can’t think of a single broken or difficult-to-get 4 star that could be on these banners.

11:13 Unless you have constellations, what team are you playing with HuTao and Citlali that is better than Furina-Yelan-Xilonen? You're not playing straight melt with HT since she applies too much pyro. And freeze-melt doesn't work against bosses.
I think it's pretty simple. If you don't have Furina, strongly consider pulling Furina. If you do have her, consider C1/C2, or just skip. Save patch is great.
@@FlameAkemi I don’t understand what Citlali does for Hu Tao besides being a shielded team option. The Zhongli team is very close in performance since he has equal res shred to Citlali and can hold Petra to give 35% dmg bonus (usually only the hydro units), and Citlali gives 40% dmg bonus (again also only the hydro units). So compared to the Zhongli variant, the Citlali team for Hu Tao is just a weaker shield with extremely similar damage amplification capabilities. She can hold ttds, but that doesn’t do all that for Hu Tao. Furina is a significant upgrade for Hu Tao since she enables you to run Furina/Yelan/Xilonen which giga buffs the off field damage of Furina and Yelan while buffing the crap out of Hu Tao’s damage as well. Furina is a much better buffer for Hu Tao than Citlali is. You should not pull Citlali for Hu Tao, definitely not over Furina anyways.
@@FlameAkemi Zhongli’s res shred is for all damage types and for the same values as Citlali, so 20%, but universally. I also have a c0 hu Tao and have been able to clear every abyss with both the Hu Tao/Xq/Yelan/Zhongli team and the Hu Tao/Furina/Yelan/Xilonen or Bennett or Flex team. Citlali will not enable melts against bosses, in fact the Cryo she applies only makes the vapes potentially inconsistent, though very rarely will she actually steal a vape. She is a little better than Zhongli for Hu Tao, but it really is just a little. Your Hu Tao team should be able to clear even at c0. I’m not sure what the problem is unless it’s a difference in artifact and build quality.
@@FlameAkemi As I already said, Citlali is better for Hu Tao than Zhongli, but it is only by a little. It is essentially just a 5% difference in hydro damage bonus and a roughly 5s longer duration. If you want an upgrade to your hu Tao team, the priority is Furina, then Xilonen. Comparing the Furina, Citlali, and Zhongli teams for Hu Tao respectively, it is as follows. Furina team >> Citlali team *>= Zhongli team.
@@FlameAkemi Yea you could drop Citlali for Xilonen and run Hu Tao, Xilonen, Yelan, Xingqiu. It’ll do more damage than the Citlali variant. The best Hu Tao team though, is Hu Tao, Furina, Yelan, Xilonen. So you want to aim to get Furina if you are trying to play Hu Tao optimally.
So glad I am finally getting a chance to build up a wish stash. It isn't going to last very long given I'll be going for Wriosthesley, but it's nice after going for 3 limited 5 stars back to back.
Please, for the love of God people, stop considering teams with Mavuika as a support the top teams for any other character, e.g. that's not a "Chasca team" that's a Mavuika team with a shitty support. Mavuika is so broken she is not a support, so please ignore those teams when considering team comps. Any team with Mavuika in it would be better as a Mavuika team, so please ignore her option as a support, it's just dumb.
You should definetely check out Ayaka/Furina/Citlali/C6 Bennet. Snapshotting the ATK buff, her burst not only does crazy dmg with Citlalis res shred, Ayaka can also melt her own burst multiple times thanks to the pyro infusion. And Furina is just icing on the cake.
Question for Yelan/Furina/Xilonen combo you mentioned at 7:55. You threw out Raiden/Itto as great partners for that, who else?? I have that trio of units, looking for how I can best abuse them. Thanks!

It's a no brainier patch. You skip the first half and pull for whatever you want or like on the second. And i don't think anyone who's going to be pulling for either of them will be at loss. Furina is still a top tier support for a lot of teams. And wriothsely deserves to have a chance to shine because bro got sandwiched between furina and neuvillette on his first appearance
Almost all teams want to run some combination of Xiolonen, Citlali and Bennet or at least 2 of them. But you can't take them into both halves of the Abyss, so most people will still bring a Furina team into one half of the Abyss, since their BiS teammates are already on the other half. If you want a strong and versatile sub DPS/support Furina stays one of the absolute best.
You guys, is Jello downplaying Furina’s power to be provocative, or does he mean it when he says she’s falling off fast? I’m not a longtime watcher so I can’t tell if he’s a prophet or a provocateur.
It's not right to call him provocative but Furina hasn't gone down in the slightest and she is absolutely futureproof for a long time, as in, she's too hard to powercreep. Absolutely incredible subDPS and a burst that benefits anyone who uses elemental damage. Mavuika as a recent Pyro DPS is helped by Citlali who is extraodinary in her niche but if your character isn't Pyro or a very specific Hydro unit in future perhaps, Furina is by far better and at the very least will always be viable.
@ I believe you, because it doesn’t make sense to me that the best support in the entire game is very suddenly “just great” for someone like Navia or Neuvilette. But if what you’re saying is true, then what Jello says in this video is really provocative, whether he intends it to be or not. Honestly, it's not like you can use citlali on every side in the abyss or in every team in theatre... we regular people aren't getting characters to nuke in the overworld like youtubers do, we get them because we like them or because they're versatile and can make any character good enough to finish the game's content with ease. So what if furina is the second best in slot? Maybe the first best in slot is busy somewhere else.

I personally enjoy afk impact with Furina Chiori Xilonen and Sigwinne. I have C1 Sigwinne though so I think that helps the skill buffing. I get pretty big hits with Chioris coordinated attack passive.
Even though Mizuki may not be good, I think she has the potential to be one of the most cozy characters. With the right team comp she can just float her way through the overworld

I remember at the start of 5.0 you said that kazuha is NOT a must pull anymore and he is starting to fall off and everyone was going mad because of what you said back then, but now we can see that kazuha is not in top tier teams anymore and you were right. And even before this video i noticed that i remove furina from my teams so often because there are more and more quality supports and sub-dpss nowadays and i'm sure everybody going to feel that sooner or later. Still, furina is SS tier unit but she is not as irreplaceable as before. I think that's the nature of this game. One year from now, Mavuika or citlali might not going to be as good as they are now (but xilonen will be 😉)

I love that a ton of CC's ignore Siegewinne as a DPS with Furina especially when Furina is one of Siegewinne's best teammates. I know people will push back on this point but I bet 100% of the people who will haven't even tried the teams you use these 2 in

Hi Jello, I have been watching your videos and carefully taking your advice. But I think you are being too harsh on Sigewinne that she could only exist alongside Furina. I would like to disagree. I will be pulling for Sigewinne, I truly think she will be a Great Pair alongside Chiori, Nahida, Raiden, Citlali, Mavuika and of course Furina if they are using their E. Skill(Off-Field). Sigewinne could be the Core that keeps the party working. She could Heal Everyone, could buff E.Skill(Off-Field), she can use Song of Days Past to buff your On-Field Character, all of that and she only take very less On-Field time to pair on any Team Comp as a Core to maximize your Off-Field & On-Field Characters Damage. For me, the value of a character doesn't always have to be revolved around One Character only in a Party. It is about how many she could contribute to the party. P.S. I am still a fan of you Jello & will still be supporting your contents and channel. Peace ✌️

I support the practice of pulling for your favorite characters, over pulling for characters because they are strong or very versatile. I'm a Xinyan main and I love physical damage dps, even though after the world level 9 drop it's even wors than it used to be.
I dont have Furina, i dont want Furina cause i dont like her hp draining mechanics. I can easily clear abyss and imaginarium theatre without her. She isn't a must pull character. I am gonna save my primos for Skirk.

I believe there are 2 kinds of good supports. Those that are actually good(like furina, kazuha) and those that are good because there's no one esle in that niche rn( citlali, baizhu in 4.2, etc) and I also believe we'll get a better cryo support that will make citlali mid/ok support in under a year
You can probably run a double summoner team with Sigewinne? Using Furina and Chiori as the off field DPS, Xilonen on the last slot for the double geo core. Sigewinne would be on field to keep her buff up and stack up fanfare Also maybe vapemelt with Mavuika, Furina, Citlali, still by fielding Sigewinne to maximize her output
Actually i can agree with the furina thing , before getting mavuika and citlali i felt i need furina alot , i had characters like clorinde and arlecchino who both doesnt need furina , and alhaitham who doesnt improve that much with her , and i had eula and itto for years as well but they're not fun or usable anymore so i dont see myself needing to get furina just for them I was planning to get her but now after mavuika and stuff i dont see myself needing to force myself to get furina just to use her on characters that i dont enjoy playing with anymore
Stuck between wanting wrio or furina cons, I know furina cons would be good for not only my wrio teams but also other teams. However, furina is more likely to get another rerun before wrio so if I don't wish now idk when I'll be able to again.

@@chrisatlas4503 I think Furina is a bit better character than Citlali but I also think you're underestimating Citlali cause you can somewhat replace Furina with Yelan but you can't generally replace Citlali in those specific teams because her application moves with the onfield character, she shreds 20 Pyro and hydro resistance and gives 40% buff through scroll set. Yes Furina gives 75% team damage buff but only at max fanfare which takes time but she doesn't shred resistance. The two things in my opinion Furina has is that she works in most teams and she had personal damage but to be fair recent carries do so much damage that the personal damage of sub dps becomes negligible.

yeah the weapon banner is really the best outcome but i hope the 4 star character and weapon are not bad. hoyo likes doing that and give the bad or niche 4 stars to good banner. Sayu, Chongyun and Mika haven't rerun in a while.

Underselling Furina here, especially after Xilonen's release. I get that she not best in slot for most characters now, but it can't be understated how versatile she is.
If you ever play your on-fielders in more than one team, get Furina. If you want one character that's good for almost all on-fielders, get Furina. If you're still building your account and don't know your main on-fielders, get Furina. If you don't like Citlali, get Furina. If you like playing 4-star dps, get Furina.

@ Not everyone wants to play the best character 100% of the time. I skipped Mauvika & Citlali because I don't like them. I play Clorinde Electrocharged sometimes even if it's only her 3rd best team. I never play her in Aggravate because I don't enjoy it. I'm here to have fun, so who cares what's ceiling?
If you want to play strictly the highest dps all the time, be my guest, but it isn't necessary to clear the abyss or any content, and I enjoy versatile characters that can be used in multiple team comps because that's more fun imo. Besides, if you only chase ceiling and get niche units to do so, some day you'll probably stop using them. Having someone versatile regardless of ceiling means you'll use them for a long time.
Besides, Furina fills a LOT of roles in a lot of teams. She might be a 2nd best, but would you rather buy 1 2nd best, or a best in slot for each a specific team? I'll save my primos and go with the former.

I do think this is underrating Furina slightly, but certainly agree that she's not a must pull. IMO she's arguably better now than she was a year ago because of Xilonen, but there are also more good options for some of the best teams so she could be argued to be less important.
Still think she's better than CItlali though, people are overhyping her like crazy just because she's great in two teams.
If you look at the viable teams its easier to make one team without Furina than it used to be, but making two Furinaless teams is almost exactly as difficult as it ever was.

I dont think anyone is saying Citlali is better than Furina. Citlali just allowed forward melt to finally be more than viable for many teams. Add to that her shield for interrupt resistance, and you have a pretty good unit to replace Furina for Pyro carries.

Okay, here’s some positive Sigewinne discourse, because everyone is always so negative about her:
Firstly she is the most convenient, easy and simple to use healer in the entire game, especially when it comes to full party healing. Just press her skill and switch off, and she’ll keep you alive no matter how many hits you take. You can completely ignore ER and her burst if you only want to use her healing.
Secondly, because of this, the Furina/Sigewinne core makes team building super simple if that is something you value. Just add any DPS and Sub DPS and BOOM; you have a solid functional team, and simple rotations.
Thirdly, her burst can do a surprisingly solid amount of damage if you build her for it, even on a healer build. Just put her on SoDP set and build her for Hp and crit stats, maybe some ER if you really care about her burst, but no pressure. She’ll basically clean up any weak mobs around that you don’t want to start another DPS rotation on. (Her bow and cons are helpful for this but not necessary)
Fourthly, her team building can be super fun, honestly. Since she’s so flexible, there are a million teams she can fit into and a bunch of different play styles you can experiment with. My personal favourite that I saw from Soluna on YT, is the Dehya/Emilie/Furina/Sigewinne team, which uses Dehya and Sigewinne as burst DPSes, and it can be super fun.
Also, I’ve actually found her to be a surprisingly good addition to the Kinich/Emilie/Mavuika team. She buffs Emilie and Mav a bit here, but mainly she provides a couple fun burgeons without fully interrupting the burning reaction. Actually, due to her limited but present Hydro app she can really help Mav re-trigger burning and reset the Scroll set buff.
TLDR: she’s more complicated than people give her credit for. Pull her if you like her, but also if you’re a casual in need of healing/specifically a healer for Furina and you find team building complicated, or if you like to play around with cool off-meta teams. Also if you value always having a healer and a bow character in your party for exploration.
Personally I have her C0R1, and I use her way more than I ever expected to. I find her team building fun and she gives me an excuse to not use Xilonen or Bennett in every single team (which always frustrates me). I really want to try to pull some cons for her, because that’s even more options for fun experiments, but unfortunately I want Wrio more and I’m broke. 🫠

May I ask your thoughts on the stat thresholds for her? I have a bunch of SoDP set from grinding Navia and purposely saved a lot of HP%. Would like to know whats an ideal Crit ratio, HP number and maybe ER (130% to Burst every so often and not off cooldown?) I dont have enough pulls to even think of getting her Signature but I do have Recurve bow at least.
I'm part of that (possibly) tiny fraction of people who pulled for Siegwinne because I think she's adorable and I like being off-meta. Even then, I don't regret it at all. She's up there with my Baizhu for "best team healing" and she's always managed to keep her team alive in the endgame stuff. Just like every other character in Genshin (yes, even QiQi)- if you want to play them, you CAN make them work somehow.

@@mjs3188 At C0 you need to think of Furina as taking two slots in the team. Unless you have enough to get her to C2, you need to run a teamwide healer like Baizhu, Kokomi, Jean, etc with her. If you think about team building like this, there are many good replacements for her. Yelan/Xingqiu for replacing her hydro app and sub DPS, plus one of Xilonen, Citlali, or Kazuha for buffing/support. These units can all be run at C0 and will perform just as good if not better than C0 Furina plus healer.
It's arguable whether Furina is still #1 or not, but she's still undoubtedly in the very top characters. She's incredibly versatile, has excellent synergy other top units, and does more damage than most off-field units on top of that. Sure you'll do like 300k more damage on Mavuika with Citlali, but Furina will deal about that much more damage than Citlali does so the team damage is a lot closer than people say.
If you main Arlecchino and Mavuika PLUS you already have Citlali, that's basically the one case I'd say you can skip semi-easily. IMO her and Xilonen are the 2 closest things to must pulls this game has.
I also think Citlali is a bit overrated for general use. She's great with Mavuika and for the 10 peoplle that play Gaming (also can be good with Arlecchino and Chasca), but she does require not just spamming like most players do, and she really doesn't do much or anything for 90% of all carries outside of the current meta. For example, if the meta characters a year from now are Electro and Cryo, Citlali would be collecting dust while Furina would still be great in those teams.

Ngl, Citlali can still actually do an okay amount of damage. My underbuilt Citlali with 800EM and lvl 7 ult can melt her ult up to 120k+ per rotation on Mavuika's team. It's not that much compared to Furina, though.

When furina was released i got her and during her first rerun I got c2. No regrets. As for her weapon I recomment chiori's weapon especially if played with xilonen. I tried to get xilonen's weapon but got chiori's without having here. I was wondering if that weapon worked well with xilonen but suddenly noticed my furina. Rest is history.
As someone with C2, DO IT!!! She's does so much damage and you get max fanfare so fast. I might get her weapon this time around since it's finally not paired with Sigewinne's

I am definitely going all in for Wriothesley. wo knows when we will see him again. Waiting so long for a Character shouldn't be a thing. Still don't get the point of gatekeeping him for so long after all the other fontaine characters got a rerun.
I am going for his C1 and his weapon. I have 180 pulls and a guarantee so i should be fine.
Also imo Furina is still the best character in the game. For the Mualani argument use a charge attack to switch her to Pneuma before getting to Mavuika! It allows Mavuika (or any pyro app) to clear the hydro and apply Pyro so Mualani can vape easier without clunk! Imo the slight damage loss from Furina's pets not being on-field is perfectly fine bc Mualani is nuking much more consistently. And it also doesn't hurt Furina too much in the energy department either bc for one, I run her on fleuve, but two, Mualani is also hydro and so she can help Furina with particle generation. And tbh, my Navia does way better with my Furina than a double Pyro with Mavuika. Granted, my Furina is C1 and better built than my Mavuika so far, but I tend to like using Navia later in the rotation and Mavuika's front-loaded buff doesn't work as well for me as a more back-loaded one like Furina's. Also I just think Furina's sub-DPS is better than Mavuika's in that team. So I would still say she's BiS for Navia.
I'm a major Furina shill but I still don't recommend her on Mualani teams. Mona is honestly so much easier to use and very competitive. On basically any other team min the game though she's goated

If you're just gonna make Furina into a healer with a slowly ramping buff, why not just run Candace or some other buffer instead? You can't even enable the buff anymore as you don't drain your own HP in the healing mode unless you tank a lot of hits from the enemies or use burning or something, meaning that her buff will possibly never go beyond 20% even lol.
Also if you have her C1 then naturally she is better than most c0 characters lol.
Currently my Wriothesley is at C0R1 and he is very well build. Pretty much can do 90k-100k melt damage so yeah, his signature is a big upgrade to his damage but he's very tied to Bennett/healer without his C1. I've been saving 500 pull for him to get C6. Wish me luck!

@@snakeop4777 as another Wrio haver going for c1, I’ll say right now that there are no characters too weak for overworld, and few characters too weak for theater minus some of the worst characters in the game. Now, that being said, Wriothesley is a genuinely good character, he just isn’t Neuvillette level. Wrio can clear any content, and so long as it’s not the Cryo hypostasis he’ll function and be both fun and viable.
furina c1 is 25% upgrade for the whole team damage, and c2 is huge furina dmg buff and way faster fanfare stacking that make even benett enough to stack fanfare easy
25 damage percent doesn't equal 25% more damage, it just gets added to all the other damage% buffs like artifact bonuses and goblet main stats. It's still a great constellation but It will definitely not improve your DPS by 25%

Wriothesley was my first ever 5*. I skipped neuvi and saved for him, pulled for him, and he came home a bit early at 48 pity. Got his c0 and have comfortably played with him ever since. I have zero regrets and I love him to pieces. I know weapon is a better damage increase, but it makes my heart happy to know my first ever 5* will also be my first ever limited character to get a constellation so that's what I'm going for. If I have primos left over, I'll burn it all for his weapon quite happily. I have a soft spot in my heart for wriothesly and I'm looking forward to seeing more wrio mains - I already have my bragging rights as an og wrio main but I'm over it and just wanna see him out in the wilds of co-op more often now LMAO

Another Furina team worth mentioning is any xianyun plunge teams, since you max fanfare pretty easily. I use the pair with Yelan for plunge Klee and it's surprisingly one of my best teams.
dude, you really need to dial down the meta talk and comparisons, there are two halves in the abyss and even a crappy siegwinne team will clear if you know how to play, don't get too into a characters fault and completely ignore to say something like siegwinne being unreliant on energy for a full party heal, while xilo is completely single target, doesn't matter as much but it's still worth noting
This! Like the difference between full party healers and single target healers can be huge if you’re a “skill issue” player, but Jello seems to completely disregard that.

Furina isn't Cyno's only option, but with both +Baizhu+Nahida you can run Cyno without an Electro Goblet. I run mine with EM, EM, Crit and he can deal with the majority of bosses, but he stil has a problem with multi-waves
Before you pull for Furina's weapon, make sure you have her at C4 or else you might end up with ER sands instead of HP%.
Her best performance C0~C3 is with ER weapon such as the pipe or festering since both provide ER and Crt Rate. You only use fav if you don't really care about her personal damage all that much.
Furina's signature weapon is more damage than any alternative (unless you have c6 and use her enhanced NAs, in which case Chiori's signature is slightly better), even if you have to run an ER% sands to use it. You can use Key (+ ER Sands) if you happen to have it (I think I got it when I was trying for some other weapon) and especially if the team benefits from the EM buff. ER sands aren't an issue due to the insane amount of %HP Key gives.
I think Key is also very close or even as good as her signature if playing her in forward Vape.
this is not a difficult question. she might not be a must pull anymore but she’s LEAGUES better than everyone else in this patch combined.
I like to use Furina & Sigewinne for AFK Impact. I pair them with Nahida and Raiden in the overworld. I just press the skills and everything gets passively hyperbloomed to death while Sigeeinne keeps the health always full.
A good team for Sigewinne is making Mavuika reliably proc the Scroll set in a Kinich team with her burst
Just make her wear SoDP so she can buff all kinds of damage as well on top of Elemental Skills
I used Wriothesley with Pyro traveler, Dehya, and Citlali to beat the abyss this time around! I do think that his C1 takes off alot of restrictions so I would personally recommend that over his weapon first* but his weapon is extremely powerful for him as well.
I find Seigwinne really easy to use as a healer, but she contributes almost nothing to the team's offense. At least it's fun having her swim-jump off the surface of the water.

No we won’t. The best 4 stars are older characters like Xingqiu, Fischl, Xiangling, & Bennett. Most players already have them; Xiangling is free, Bennett was literally just on banner with Mavuika, and XL and XQ will be available during lantern rite, AND they’re all available in the starglitter shop anyway. The best new 4 stars are Chevreuse and Lan Yan, who are on banner right now.. I genuinely can’t think of a single broken or difficult-to-get 4 star that could be on these banners.

11:13 Unless you have constellations, what team are you playing with HuTao and Citlali that is better than Furina-Yelan-Xilonen? You're not playing straight melt with HT since she applies too much pyro. And freeze-melt doesn't work against bosses.
I think it's pretty simple. If you don't have Furina, strongly consider pulling Furina. If you do have her, consider C1/C2, or just skip. Save patch is great.
@@FlameAkemi I don’t understand what Citlali does for Hu Tao besides being a shielded team option. The Zhongli team is very close in performance since he has equal res shred to Citlali and can hold Petra to give 35% dmg bonus (usually only the hydro units), and Citlali gives 40% dmg bonus (again also only the hydro units). So compared to the Zhongli variant, the Citlali team for Hu Tao is just a weaker shield with extremely similar damage amplification capabilities. She can hold ttds, but that doesn’t do all that for Hu Tao. Furina is a significant upgrade for Hu Tao since she enables you to run Furina/Yelan/Xilonen which giga buffs the off field damage of Furina and Yelan while buffing the crap out of Hu Tao’s damage as well. Furina is a much better buffer for Hu Tao than Citlali is. You should not pull Citlali for Hu Tao, definitely not over Furina anyways.
@@FlameAkemi Zhongli’s res shred is for all damage types and for the same values as Citlali, so 20%, but universally. I also have a c0 hu Tao and have been able to clear every abyss with both the Hu Tao/Xq/Yelan/Zhongli team and the Hu Tao/Furina/Yelan/Xilonen or Bennett or Flex team. Citlali will not enable melts against bosses, in fact the Cryo she applies only makes the vapes potentially inconsistent, though very rarely will she actually steal a vape. She is a little better than Zhongli for Hu Tao, but it really is just a little. Your Hu Tao team should be able to clear even at c0. I’m not sure what the problem is unless it’s a difference in artifact and build quality.
@@FlameAkemi As I already said, Citlali is better for Hu Tao than Zhongli, but it is only by a little. It is essentially just a 5% difference in hydro damage bonus and a roughly 5s longer duration. If you want an upgrade to your hu Tao team, the priority is Furina, then Xilonen. Comparing the Furina, Citlali, and Zhongli teams for Hu Tao respectively, it is as follows. Furina team >> Citlali team *>= Zhongli team.

@@FlameAkemi Yea you could drop Citlali for Xilonen and run Hu Tao, Xilonen, Yelan, Xingqiu. It’ll do more damage than the Citlali variant. The best Hu Tao team though, is Hu Tao, Furina, Yelan, Xilonen. So you want to aim to get Furina if you are trying to play Hu Tao optimally.
Sigewinne’s best team imo is Navia, Furina, Sigewinne, Xilonen/Chiori

You should definetely check out Ayaka/Furina/Citlali/C6 Bennet.
Snapshotting the ATK buff, her burst not only does crazy dmg with Citlalis res shred, Ayaka can also melt her own burst multiple times thanks to the pyro infusion.
And Furina is just icing on the cake.
Question for Yelan/Furina/Xilonen combo you mentioned at 7:55. You threw out Raiden/Itto as great partners for that, who else?? I have that trio of units, looking for how I can best abuse them. Thanks!

It's a no brainier patch. You skip the first half and pull for whatever you want or like on the second. And i don't think anyone who's going to be pulling for either of them will be at loss. Furina is still a top tier support for a lot of teams. And wriothsely deserves to have a chance to shine because bro got sandwiched between furina and neuvillette on his first appearance

Almost all teams want to run some combination of Xiolonen, Citlali and Bennet or at least 2 of them. But you can't take them into both halves of the Abyss, so most people will still bring a Furina team into one half of the Abyss, since their BiS teammates are already on the other half. If you want a strong and versatile sub DPS/support Furina stays one of the absolute best.
You guys, is Jello downplaying Furina’s power to be provocative, or does he mean it when he says she’s falling off fast? I’m not a longtime watcher so I can’t tell if he’s a prophet or a provocateur.
It's not right to call him provocative but Furina hasn't gone down in the slightest and she is absolutely futureproof for a long time, as in, she's too hard to powercreep. Absolutely incredible subDPS and a burst that benefits anyone who uses elemental damage. Mavuika as a recent Pyro DPS is helped by Citlali who is extraodinary in her niche but if your character isn't Pyro or a very specific Hydro unit in future perhaps, Furina is by far better and at the very least will always be viable.
@ I believe you, because it doesn’t make sense to me that the best support in the entire game is very suddenly “just great” for someone like Navia or Neuvilette. Honestly, it's not like you can use citlali on every side in the abyss or in every team in theatre... we regular people aren't getting characters to nuke in the overworld like youtubers do, we get them because we like them or because they're versatile and can make any character good enough to finish the game's content with ease. And yet no one says the same thing with alhaitham quickbloom despite dealing less than 50% of the teams damage and people called him the top 3 dps.
I personally enjoy afk impact with Furina Chiori Xilonen and Sigwinne. I have C1 Sigwinne though so I think that helps the skill buffing. I get pretty big hits with Chioris coordinated attack passive.
I like many characters and their design, but if they're not also good, I'm not gonna spend real money on them.
Even though Mizuki may not be good, I think she has the potential to be one of the most cozy characters. With the right team comp she can just float her way through the overworld

I understand the emotional investment we have in our favorite characters and how easy it is to have a negative reaction to negativity towards them, but damn the hostility always surprises me anyway lmao.
I remember at the start of 5.0 you said that kazuha is NOT a must pull anymore and he is starting to fall off and everyone was going mad because of what you said back then, but now we can see that kazuha is not in top tier teams anymore and you were right.
And even before this video i noticed that i remove furina from my teams so often because there are more and more quality supports and sub-dpss nowadays and i'm sure everybody going to feel that sooner or later. Still, furina is SS tier unit but she is not as irreplaceable as before. I think that's the nature of this game. One year from now, Mavuika or citlali might not going to be as good as they are now (but xilonen will be 😉)

Hi Jello, I have been watching your videos and carefully taking your advice. But I think you are being too harsh on Sigewinne that she could only exist alongside Furina. I would like to disagree. I will be pulling for Sigewinne, I truly think she will be a Great Pair alongside Chiori, Nahida, Raiden, Citlali, Mavuika and of course Furina if they are using their E. Skill(Off-Field).
Sigewinne could be the Core that keeps the party working. She could Heal Everyone, could buff E.Skill(Off-Field), she can use Song of Days Past to buff your On-Field Character, all of that and she only take very less On-Field time to pair on any Team Comp as a Core to maximize your Off-Field & On-Field Characters Damage.
For me, the value of a character doesn't always have to be revolved around One Character only in a Party. It is about how many she could contribute to the party.

I dont have Furina, i dont want Furina cause i dont like her hp draining mechanics. I can easily clear abyss and imaginarium theatre without her. She isn't a must pull character.

Actually i can agree with the furina thing , before getting mavuika and citlali i felt i need furina alot , i had characters like clorinde and arlecchino who both doesnt need furina , and alhaitham who doesnt improve that much with her , and i had eula and itto for years as well but they're not fun or usable anymore so i dont see myself needing to get furina just for them

Stuck between wanting wrio or furina cons, I know furina cons would be good for not only my wrio teams but also other teams. However, furina is more likely to get another rerun before wrio so if I don't wish now idk when I'll be able to again.
