The data is... well, hearsay for now and some general polling I did on you guys but it does reveal quite a few things that I think is worth enough to make a video about it. You forgot to mention the glaring weakness of Arlecchino, Teyvat's grass. Alrecchino, fighting on grass field, burns herself to death like she was Signora lmao.

the best feature about her is not losing the pyro infusion when switching.. that's one of the thing that makes cyno's kit problemamtic.

@@pudinichigo91Hu Tao and Xiao I can sort of live with but Cyno’s infuson is entirely too long. Plus, the fact that it’s a burst compared to a skill like Hu Tao, means you’ll almost certainly end a fight midway through burst phase, meaning you gotta collect particles later.

not just cyno, itto, al haitham, hu tao, xiao and basically anyone with elemental infusions unless Noelle and Diluc before arleccino, which is my personal biggest issue with the way they dealt with this type of kit so far..
One thing about Arlecchino I don't really see people talking about, is how she's really good at closing in some distance when enemies are far away. Use her CA or use her skill and she's right in front of the enemy again. Her playstyle just feels REALLY good.

This is exactly the reason why I’m having fun with her in an overload team. Not only that she gets back close to the enemies that flew from the overload explosion but she also pulls enemies to keep them from thrown away too far.

Exactly. This is why i feel like comfortable using her on my exploration/daily activities, more comfortable than my afk-hyperbloom team because i have to recast nahida skill manually for every new waves.
With arlecchino, I can effortlessly blink here and there without aiming fully-manually.

The fact we are not getting inv. frames while ulting is total BS. We literally losing control for a few seconds, we can't see what's going on and we cannot switch off cinematics....

@@RavenShugo you do get i frames tho, just not on until the 0.2 seconds after the burst started. So you are in control on when to use burst.
Also, her buff uptime isn't dependent on time, but whether she lands a hit. This makes it more comfortable to dodge for me, because I don't feel obliged to maximise the buff up-time.

@@dezcrux In my team the only characters who give buffs is Zhongli and Bennett.
So even if their buffs have ended, you just stop rotation early, save up some BoL for next rotation (which will increase overall damage too) and kill everything fast because of the extra BoL you've saved up.
It took me a while to get used to the fact that her rotations don't really depend on CD. I've found myself in situations where my supports buffs stop and I'm like "oh wait, I can just save this BOL". It's interesting, because with many other main DPS you're kind of tied to a specific window of time
Honestly the best thing about Arlecchino, that you don't realize on footage but affects a lot, is that her first NA dashes closer to enemies

So you reduce a lot of time and stamina on sprinting sinces she does it while attacking
100% this, her N3 is basically Kazuha levels of grouping dragging enemies towards you and more importantly it hits around mitachurl shields

C6 Kaeya is Arlecchino's best support because of his cryo-app. He has the fastest cryo-app in the game at c6 (once per sec since he gets an extra hit) which means you basically don't miss a single melt like you would using Rosaria or Ganyu. The only problem is you actually have to get a C6 Kaeya first.
i do a Very loud laugh when someone says "[insert random 5*] is Premium" when its easier to get a c6 5* than C2 Kaeya/amber/lisa without buying
@@linmayo790 it's because the standard units aren't on the limited banners at all. Only standard and now [FINALLY!] chronicle. I got amber c2 and Lisa c3 [or vice versa. No kaeya]
Yes. Arlec, benny instructor, sucros and kaeya noblese is very powerful hitting like a truck in single target or small Aoe.

She adds an actual learning curve with her gameplay nuance. It's giving the game some MUCH needed complexity now that we're on the half-way mark. I LOVE the limitations they introduced with her lack of healing.
Plus it's not hard to have her heal herself with her burst.
Plus people complain like she doesn't recharge like crazy anyways because her burst is a heal with damage rather than something to DPS with, plus almost permanent uptime on her pyro damage. I find myself often just using her burst to reset the skill. She's fluid af

Took a long time but I beat her with a friendship team of herself, Kirara and Tighnari and it somehow worked...ableit my sheilder is Zhongli lol She was very squishy for the first day or two.
You gotta have enough ER, run an overload team if it helps

I've actually revived an HP Beidou build for an Arlecchino overload team. Beidous damage docent really matter since Arlechino does so much damage on her own in this team. It's a lot of fun and it also means I can avoid playing vaporize which almost always wants Bennet and nothing you say will make me play him, I can't stand him.

@@MassiveW1ll the fact Benny's ult applies pyro to you the same way barbara applies hydro on E to the player is NOT fun. The fact it's a small AOE to stand is is not fun. The fact you can get overloaded and blasted out of the aoe, vape through zhongli's shield and killed, melted to death, etc is NOT fun!

I've been playing C1 Arlecchino with E6 Beidou, C1 Chevreuse and C0 Raiden. Nothing will make me use Benny either so Beidous shield is a good option instead to negate damage. Chevy will allow for overload buff and Raiden has amazing electro damage. That's usually how I run her.

@@joeyisabsb1 I know. I just said they would be the perfect enemies for Nilou and Klee. I use Nilou superbloom with Baizhu, Nahida and Kokomi while I use Klee burgeon (Klee Full EM) with Baizhu Nahida and Furina

Exactly. Running Arle wihout shielder feels like Hu Tao without Zhongli or Xianyun(in Furina team). I get it, everyone will say "skill issue" but you can say the same with Hu Tao, and yet everyone still play her with Zhongli.
Exactly, I dunno what the big deal of "needing" a shielder is now, when Hu Tao came up she was mostly glued to Zhongli on every team cause playing with 10%HP was not confortable, and nobody bat an eye.

Exactly. Everyone have their own preference. I'd rather use a shielder that risking getting interrupted when doing my rotation, especially with my c0 Arle since she's still tricky for me to use (I just got her 2 days ago). I also have no problem clearing abyss first try using shielders for months
@@alexferrier5732hutao isn't tied to zhongli at all.. and there was also vv vape where you run bennett yelan/xingqiu and kazuha. The big difference is hutao can be healed and use her burst more freely because it doesn't end her rotation, she also has built in interrupt res. C0 hutao with no shielder xingqiu or healer on shimenawas sure, but hutao has always been relatively tanky due to building HP and utilizing defensive options like xingqiu and bennett really well. And now with furina she's got no issues at all paired with her + healer (jean or xianyun)

I have her at c0 and has her weapon and so far she's been really fun to use, yes she is a glass canon but you don't need to worry cause as long as you have her ult ready you can use it to do a quick reset on her combo.
Another problem with her is that... If you missed her elemental skill, no bond of life and your ult is down... Your left with nothing but normal weak attacks... I've experienced this on abyss and it's a pain...

Thankfully missing is like... a non issue in the end because of how rare it happens. [It's only happened 3 times at most so far for me]
tbh, I don't even find her that fragile. She is reasonably tanky thanks to her RES passive and solid base HP and Def; from my experience, she is absolutely able to take a couple of hits. It's just that people aren't used to playing a character who won't be receiving continuous healing.

@@teumefatih5490 I skipped him 2 or 3 times since release, then pulled him just because I kinda wanted *every* character at that time (not really what I want anymore and I kinda regret pulling so many characters, including him). Honestly, used him as an on-field physical driver more than anything 😂 His normal attack animations are still so great, it's a bit of a pity not to use them.
I do have him built as a shielder now, but very rarely use him.
man Raiden gets free interrupt resistance in her ult, whats with recent characters needing a whole constilation just for resistance from interruption. really dont like how the things currently are with characters, the game is stingy with freemogems as it is
@@ascreamingarcticfox5395moreover both Neuvi and Arle are pretty much the best DPS in the game currently. Them being weak to interruption is good way to balance it and it also makes sense that a tool to help mitigate it are locked behind their cons.
@@thejamesonthestreet this is a bad take man, if you want to balance a character, con locking something is definitely not the way, as the only PPL hindered by this 'balancing' are f2p and low spenders, 'balancing' should be fair and equal for everyone
@seismicfart maybe so for a competitive MMO like game, but Genshin is primarily a single-player game that doesn't even have a ranking system. So, I don't see why people who have more resources and/or better luck should have the same experience as those who lack both of them or simply didn't want to spend said resources. That's why locking it behind a cons is perfect for this.
Besides, I have played both F2P and Whale versions of Arle and Neuvi. While, obviously, there are differences in QoL and Damage, it's not that much.
But arle still have something better, like her infusion no time limit, dmg, Flexibility on her rotation, genshin Players always have something to be complained, even when the character has many advantages, you still focus on their weaknesses and complain bout it
Used Arlecchino in 1st half of current abyss with no shielder and had a great time. In overload team with Bennett, Fischl and Chevy with a little of ER she charges up her Q very fast. Used 1or 2 Q per room. Really fun and f2p team.
ive been playing genshin since petty much its release and honestly arlecchino brought me back to the game after barely toucing it since fontaine's release

@@kitamibu It's a bit difficult at c0 with 8s cooldown. But at c2, she has 100% uptime skill which is perfect
Keep in mind her damage scales with BoL, so the spear doesnt just give 24% atk, it gives more bond and thus better damage scalings
9:55 while it sucks that entering teapot or different realm removes BoL, the permanent pyro infusion and her dash is very comfy for exploration. My friendship team had never been more comfortable.

I have been testing Arlecchino for a while and I must say that I am amazed since the blackcliff polearm achieved similar damage to her signature (1k difference per auto attack). the crit damage compensates for the lower base atk and that's when the passive is down, albeit the signature is more consistent due to higher crit rate ! (she has 92-238 crit with her signa with 4 pcs glad )

When we switch her to another character then back using her and she still got the pyro infusion with her... That's a win at least for me (even tho she can't do consistent elemental reaction)

So... why aren't people using Arlecchino's burst to heal and then reapply bond of life with skill which is refreshed by her burst. Not only does it heal her to full, it deals a ton of damage and the bond of life comes back almost as strong as it was before burst if not stronger.
Since getting Arleccino I've been looking out for audio cues more, for example in the Coppelia/Coppelius fights, and the triple Maagu Kenki. I've never had to run her with a shielder, but my build also has 150ER so I can pop a burst any time I need a quick heal. Running with Zhongli would be cool for lazier runs when you can't be bothered to dodge and can just facetank everything.
Tbh one of my favorites things about Arle are her 5 Pyro particles on her skill. This is sooo good in Bennett teams. It makes him soo much smother to use. I really love it.
Arlecchino puts out amazing damage, but she is such a glass canon. Most of the time, it's fine. I don't like when they throw something like Triple-Kinky at you... that pretty much just shuts her down. Also, for that reason, there is just nobody who touches C1 Neuvillette. My god.... So much damage while not being interruptible and he's a veritable self-healing tank. I am really enjoying Arlechhino gameplay, but she's still #2 on my roster.
I've been leveling Zhongli to make their shield but I do have c6 Diona so I'll check how that goes :3 ty for the idea!
I love her so much! Abyss has become so much easier now that she’s in my team! I got her C1 and am now pulling for her weapon since I don’t have any 5* star polearms. I got an early guaranteed now so hopefully father will be complete soon 🙏🏻✨
Also can we talk about how cursed that new domain is? 😭 i keep getting def and hp and it’s so frustrating 😭😭 luckily the artifacts i gave her now seem to do good for her, but damn! I think ima burn out on that domain

I have been doing surprisingly well with Yae, Ei, and Diona for her team. Open with Ei's skill into Arlecchino's skill, then you have a good chance to set up Miko's turrets and Diona's shield before switching Arlecchino back in. Hold Diona burst in case Arlecchino gets uncomfortably low because Diona burst + swapping Ei on field can keep you in and doing decent damage until Arlecchino has her burst ready to self heal.

Ive been using Arle with Yunjin a lot, sometimes the crystalise can come in useful sometimes (Tho not strong) but mostly cause the giant Normal attack buff makes her attacks really consistently strong

I’m running a c0 arlecchino and a c0 nahida alongside Layla and xinqui and feeling great. Even without any signature weapons.
I think it's proper for her to be squishy to keep game balance. Father is not the only one like that, there's Xiao and other characters that are like Arlecchino. Most of their like mega power is locked behind their C6 or other Constellations.
Thing is... Hu Tao can do what she does at C0 lol. Hu tao's charged attacks also vape EVERY hit.
@@Puppetmaster2005they're both quite the same power level at C0 it's really no use comparing. Arle may not vape every hit but she does consistent damage without reactions with easier NA playstyle. While Hu Tao if you miss a CA you lose damage, plus losing a lot of stamina is annoying.

@@Puppetmaster2005 Hutao should be played with her hp very low for maximize potential dmg. So her High hp mechanic is kinda similar to Arlecchino being squishy
Hu tao is built vs an inbuilt arlecchino, making them at equal power. Arle outclassed hu tao big time once she's built.
Perfect jumps and perfect cancels are NOT possible, especially on mobile.
Low hp all the time means you need a shielder because it's a dmg loss otherwise.
Can't use a healer or else it's a dmg loss.
Arlecchino can run healers for their applications without loosing bol.
Burst at any time and repapply bol a second later because burst resets it.
C1 al is in the kit for more uptime no problem.
Doesn't need some whack ass combo breaking just to be viable.
@@corn-rs8fj You don't need to play Hu Tao with "very low HP", all the buffs only require her to be below 50% HP (except C6 which requires her to be below 25%).
Yun Jin is also really strong as a support for Arlecchino, particularly if you're using 4 pc Gladiator.
miss Yun, Furina and Mika seems a great idea of comp. or miss yun, Yelan and kazuha
Im gonna just say, she works well with alot of team comps. Im currently running over vape with xingue,raiden and cher.. with scuffed artifacts and she's dealing 54k and can jump to 70k at times when cherv fully buffs her
I think if we ever get a heavy hitting veto sub dps she is the best consistent pyro applicator ESPECIALLY if you pair her with Thoma. IMO she is a better driver and soloist than Hu Tao but Hu Tao is a more consistent vape and has better switch out due to the simpler kit. For whales Arleccino is better but outside of that C0 they go pretty equal with leanings towards different scenarios. Also I find Arleccino super fun due to her awesome animations and her dash has a surprisingly massive range. I like to play her Overload with my C2 Yae Miko. Only thing is it is awkward to choose between Chevy and Kaz for that team depending on enemies
what should I do? I don't have any five star polearm not even the white tassel I have Missive Windspear and dragons bane does this work well or should I pull for her weapon.
Is there a reason as to why putting your country in the giveaway survey as "Outside of the US" just ends the survey there while selecting "Inside of the US" lets the survey continue? Do people outside of the US have no chance or winning or is it just that they're not allowed to get more data from people that don't live in the US? Does that hinder their chances to win, still?
I personally run a thoma with her as mine is c6. At c6 not only does he offer a moderate shield that refreshes with normal strikes but also gives 15% normal and charge damage on burst.
Since I don't have zhongli, I use albedo instead for constant crystal shields. I run arle with benny, xiangling, and albedo and I don't have to worry much on the shield strength since it resets on every shard. My albedo also provides good damage with about 10k every tick, and 20k on crit. Problem is, you can't utilize this with other reactions as he sometimes steals aura. It's good on mono pyro though. Would be better with... ehem... chiori.

I haven't tested it out but I've seen it many times on content creators' vids. Am I seeing it right that arle's BoL doesn't decrease with plunge attacks?
I've been a Klee main since the beginning of the game and still don't have Zhongli. I was hesistant to get Arlecchino because I thought i'd need a shield, but I got Ninja Klee skills with dodges so I might have to pull for her.
Lol I used to be able to dodge as a Klee main. However, I got Zhongli two years ago and lost all my dodging skill.
Personally I went for the weapon because it just looks so damn good on her also it gives amazing stats for her

I have a big issue... I already have a NAVIA BENNET XIANGLING ZHONGLI team.... so I have no possible way of making a good team for ARLECHINNO any advice??!
I stopped playing Genshin for 1 year or so. Last 5* was Wanderer I got. I indeed got Arlechino on a random why not pull. Will take me ages to get her mats now since I’m stuck in Sumeru still…at least I have a juicy gladiators set and an R5 Deathmatch to put on her.
After na and getting it crowned whats the next priority it her skill

I paired her with my yun Jin and the crystallize reaction helps with the small shield, but I’m used to dodging so it’s more for the damn grass that catches on fire lol
I don't have Zhongli so I've been using c2 Dehya for the resistace still worked out 🙂
6:13 He said that any polearm user gains 12% dmg bonus from the weapon, however this is not true unless you have a bond of life. 12% for having any value BoL, and an additional 24% if your BoL is at or above 30%

Dmg bonus≠atk bonus, Bennett can easily provide atk bonus, signature weapon is still better than anything else at at same refinement
I never mind the versatility of the weapon I wish for as I mostly specifically pull for that character only, but the other weapon versatility is what I always concern about.
If you mean lyneys bow it's the equivalent to aqua simulacra if you run a 2nd of the same element with no need to be upclose to the enemy while carrying a crit stat.
So tighnari, ganyu, and multiple bow users like them can actually utilize it.

Arlecchino helped me get my first 36* abyss cycle ever! I've been a daily player since patch 1.1, and never had the patience to actually clear the Abyss.
I couldn't be happier with dear Frappuccino (granted, she's C1 R1) but I'm loving her very much.
Team I used in the abyss was:
Arlecchino/Yelan/Zhongli/Yunjin
same here same here.. arlecchino and neuvillette helped me in clearing abyss with 9 stars...before them, i could never even finish the 1st chamber. so im very grateful to both neuvi Nd arlecchino.. and every char has weakness and thats fine, otherwise it'll be easy and i already feel like im using some cheat code just by playing arlecchino and neuvillette.
How lazy, the abyss is passable less than a year after starting the game if you went for a nuvillette or a kazuha

That's really sad tbh. I played from day 1. Abyss got so easy to clear I stopped even bothering over a year ago. Definitely don't need this character to clear anything. If you have a decent weapon and artifacts it's a cake walk.
And the simping begins . I am a mobile player and I have been 36* abyss since 2.1 . I don’t know what arlecchino did that massive that you cleared this time. Just finished my struggle with the weapon banner...i scraped as many primos as i could and got to 62 pity but still didn't get the scythe... Hope rest of y'all got better luck than me
Been playing since first patch and my glad Artifact pieces were terrible lol. Had really good trope sets though. Just used 2 piece witch and shimanawa until i farm better signature set.

a big thing that i THOUGHT you were going to cover with her weapon was the first part of the passive. you gain 25% bond of life on charge attack once every 14 seconds. it doesnt SOUND important, and in most gameplay if you HAVE it you might not notice what it does, but effectively it does change how many hits you get pyro for on your normal attacks against a single target boss, like on bosses in abyss.
it might not make a huge difference but its something to note that you dont get your skill cooldown back using all your normal attacks without your weapon, but with the weapon you DO. as well as increased multipliers on your hits obv and the damage stacking faster than jade winged spear. you get more bond of life to play with so you dont have that awkward phase of "my e isnt up, but i have no pyro attacks left so its weird to switch rn..". thats basically all im trying to say! more immediate damage from bigger bond of life, and better consistency in your rotations without awkward switching to wait for her e to come back. and, regardless, her weapon IS a damage buff from other options. so while not needed, the gameplay does appreciate having it, and you will probably notice and appreciate the difference.
TL:DR her weapon gives her more immediate and more consistent damage since it gets her to her e cooldown again.
this makes her cycles always end with her e and then supports as well as giving her a decent damage boost. im not gonna calculate it but those things should put it in definite contention over going for c1.
also- it looks fkn cool and thats even more reason to pull for it :)
The best thing with her is that she's really fun to play with. Maybe my favourite.
For my team Im actually use her with maxed out chevruse with Beidou 4th electro character I swap between fishl or yae to apply electro off field, however I try get koujou sara(noblesse set) or Dori (ER battery) however is there gonna be new electro unit who could fit with either shield or electro offlield apllication i use them.
Since chevruse boost ATK (i have at 40k ho build) and damgage from overload reaction and Beidou burst shield is still awsome after I decided to play her after 4 years XD.
Fun fuct since overliad makes enemies fly in explosions actuall arlechino AA chain pulls them in creating another overleaod reaction with explsion cousing them to actally stagger pretty fast.
So anyone interested try out overload arlechino team let me know your opinion.
To be fair, most content creators use shields in comparisons and demos anyway as long as the team can afford the slot, just so they can actually show off the character not just their dodge animation. So while shields are more important on her, they aren't necessary since she can still full heal every 15-20s
god I want her weapon, like, I love scythes, I even saved up a decent amount of wishes, but I got unlucky as hell and used them all getting arlecchino lmao, I've been trying to scrape my world and attempting abyss 12 to get the weapon for her, but there's def no way for me. as a f2p, to get enough primos in time for it lol, I'll wait until next time her banner is back to get it

@@raykay47420 Bennett. Chev does the buffing, Yanfei does the shielding. Put ATK goblet on Arlechino to compensate for Bennett's buff, she gets free 40% Pyro with her passive anyway.
But actually, I'd rather take Beidou in a shielder slot so the team can have two pyros and to electros for maximum benefit.

1:00 meanwhile my first time ever facing triple Manguu with my Arlecchino Overload team, I destroyed them so hard that survivability wasen't an issue. Her burst being such a fail-safe is all I needed.
"she is one of the best but not the best", as a guy that does some theorycrafting, she has literally the highest potential dps in the game, she is only very slightly behind some characters because she lacks updated supports, she CAN use furina, but at c0 it is just garbo, if we can get a support that can substitute the sustain slot and give buffs at least comparable to furina without using hp, she is gonna be the best single target dps in the game and a extremely competent aoe dps
Same feeling I had with Arlecchino C1 definitely getting Zhongli next on my F2P account instead of C1 Arlecchino,
also I've gotten an Arlecchino on my F2P account while just trying to get a for Xiangling and yet I didn't get a single constellation for her, got knave at 36 pulls while also losing my 50/50 at 21 pulls oj Dehya ICANT
Do you have thoma? If so he would be a fine option while being a way for arlecchino to not have high ER% needs and can keep applying pyro on top of his buffs from all the cons [including c6]

Weapon being too niche is just a weird problem to me. Because I never even tried swapping my weapons to another character. Like how do you have the time and energy to swap weapon then adjust artifacts then do that again for multiple characters?
I haven’t had one problem with survivability and I don’t run a shielder
