- This is how you prove Jesus is God using the new world translation. In their own bible there are thousands of mistakes. I love to use on the JW material to prove to them that no matter what, God's Word will stand.

I am a disassociated JW. I pioneered from 1976 until 2021.
Your point of view was something I came upon over and over again. Of course the 2013 translation can be used to counter your belief.
The main problem we all have today, is that every Christian religion emanated from the Roman Catholics. It is extremely, highly likely, that the true version of Christianity has never been taught outide of the Roman empire of Jesus and the disciples day!
Jesus claimed he was the son of God. Paul, apparently made it clear at Romans 10:13 that all those calling on the name of Jesus will be saved, but that on it's own is quite a bald statement. When Jesus himself said, whilse talking to the Samaritan woman at the well, that God is looking for those who worship him with spirit and truth, so more is involved that a quick gloss over of Paul's words.
All Bibles today, with the exception of the translations made by the watchtower, and the 2001 Bible translation have been translated by translators who believe in the trinity, and or in conjunction with paymasters who believe in the trinity and have commissioned the Bible to support their beliefs, not the truth! Consider the following. I have quoted other Bibles, but these scriptures can be found in the 2013 translation. 1. Jews when in a covenant relationship with our heavenly Father, did not and were not taught that God was part of a trinity.
2. Jesus did not teach that he was part of a trinity. Wikipedia says “Neither the word “Trinity” nor the explicit doctrine appears in the New Testament, nor did Jesus and his followers intend to contradict the Shema in the Hebrew Scriptures: “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord” (Deuteronomy 6:4).23 Oct 2023
3. At NO time did he consider himself equal to his Father. “Do not be afraid and anxious, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom”. - Luke 12:32, Amplified Bible. If Jesus was equal to God, or was God, would it not have been simpler to say ‘I am giving you the Kingdom’? “Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, *I go unto the Father: for **my Father is greater than I”. - John 14:28 - King James Bible.
Note John 14:28 above, Jesus *went to his Father, if Jesus were God, why would he need to go anywhere to see his Father, he would have been afterall, his own Father, would he not? Jesus acknowledged that his **Father was greater than him. BUT, supposedly, in a trinity all three members are pronounced to be equal. “Keep this mental attitude in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although he was existing inGod’s form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should beequal to God.” Now look at the same scripture from a trinity teaching Bible. “Philipians 2:5&6 - New World Translation. Philippians 2:5-6 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality … Note how easy it is for false religion to twist the meaning of a scripture? With the evidence presnted above, we can see how cautious we must be. We MUST have God’s Holy Spirit to help decipher such. If we are diligently searching the Bible for the truth of God’s word. his spirit IS with us, and will help us. He, we are told in John 4:24 “God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” If you are truly trying to do that, he will open the meaning of the Bible for you. That is what Jesus disciples did for the Jews and Gentiles who truly wanted to know God!
4. The trinity was not taught until between the third and fourth century; although there were rumblings about it earlier from a few people. “The first defence of the doctrine of the Trinity was by Tertullian, who was born around 150-160 AD, explicitly “defined” the Trinity as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and defended his theology against Praxeas, although he noted that the majority of the believers in his day found issue with his doctrine. - Wikipedia.
So, if anyone should know the truth about this, surely that anyone is Jesus, and Jesus DID NOT teach a trinity.
All these arguments and false teachings began, only after the disciples had died, as predicted by Luke “25 Now I know that none of you among whom I have preached the kingdom of God will see my face again. 26Therefore I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all men. 27For I did not shrink back from declaring to you the whole will of God. 28Therefore keep watch over yourselves and the entire flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of the Lord and of God, which He purchased with His own blood. 29For I know this, that after my departure, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. 30Even from your own number, men will rise up and distort the truth to draw away disciples after them. 31Therefore be alert and remember that for three years I never stopped warning each of you night and day with tears. Luke 20:25-31. - Majority Standard Bible.
The disciples had been personally taught by Jesus. They were a guard on the purity of Jesus word and teachings. It was only after their death’s that false teachings commenced, just as Luke warned.
“Keep this mental attitude in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although he was existing in God’s form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God.” Philipians 2:5&6 - New World Translation.

i am a jw and finding my own way out and what makes me connect to your channel is how sympathatic you are.a lot of people think just they need to make an "aha got you"others are ex jw speaking from hurt.i am a jw whose entire family is as much as i have always questioned and never connected with certain teachings like this i was mostly happy because they are not bad people but i do believe there is so much cleanse that needs to happen

They are completely human just like us ❤️ so that's why I know how gullable and ignorant we ALL can and have been in our lives. We all once were something... it's takes people walking us through consistently to get out of our own way sometimes.
I just want them to know I care and will help.
But I won't ever force someone to listen who doesn't want to hear the truth. That's my #1 rule I have.
If I can see that someone won't even give me a chance to present my side after I have heard their side, and are stubborn in their heart, I pause and help the person that does accept the help.

Keep up this good work you are doing. You are correct. ❤ An honest enquiry to that awful translation exposes the alterations. The first and the last in Rev is a good example . I am the first and the last i died and now i am alive for ever more. Jesus had two nature's. One of god and one of man. The same as god less in his humanity but equal in his divinity. ❤

Why Then if you go and read revelation 1 v 1 and find out who gave Jesus who this lady saying is GOD the revelation? If Jesus is GOD then no need to get the revelation of God ?

What an embarrassment. The Bible is a format for writing text and means book (Greek biblion). At some point in history, the holy scriptures began to be colloquially called the Bible, because they most often appeared in this format

John 17:3-- This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ.

Salvation to everlasting life in happiness is by worshiping what Jesus and his true followers know to be the true God. “Now there is no mediator where only one person is concerned, but God is only one.” (Gal. 3:20) So God is one party to his “new covenant,” and men who are brought into that new covenant make up the other party or other side of the arrangement; and such men can come to an “accurate knowledge of truth” through the “one mediator between God and men.” That mediator was once here on earth as a man, a perfect man, who because of his human perfection and sinlessness was able to give himself as a “corresponding ransom for all.”
That Mediator is the Messiah Jesus or Christ Jesus. Since he mediates for the God whom he knows, he leads us to “worship what we know,” God. Do what Jesus did and have faith also in him and obey and you will have life…and not just any life…everlasting life. (John 14:1; John 17:3)

and ALSO, notice that even in their NWT “2013 Bible” it says in Isaiah 44:24
“I am Jehovah, who made everything. I stretched out the heavens by MYSELF, And I spread out the earth. WHO WAS WITH ME?
So even in THEIR new bible, Jehovah is telling us in the Old Testament that Jesus IS HIM. Jesus didn’t exist in heaven as a Son BEFORE he was born on earth (as the JWs teach). Jehovah (in a way) is saying that “Jesus IS the almighty creator, but just in human form” 😊🔥✊🏾

Three things. First, you badly misrepresent the Jehovah's Witnesses belief concerning the Son of God. Jehovah's Witnesses *do* accept what the Bible teaches, that Jesus was the Son of God before he was born a man.
Secondly, you take Isaiah 44.24 out of context. Jehovah was saying that none of the gods of the nations surrounding Israel were with him when he created the heavens and the Earth, that these are mere idols, made by the people of those nations. Read Isaiah 44.9-20.
Thirdly, according to Hebrews 1.1(please read carefully), when we read of God speaking in the OT, that one will be the Father, not the Son. Hence, Hebrews 1.1 shows it was not Jesus speaking in Isaiah 44.

The God and Father of Jesus christ is the MOST HIGH God and thus is co equal to no one.

According to Jesus his God and Father is the one and only God of Israel . By common consent the God and Father of Jesus is not triune. Therefore the one and only God of Israel is not triune.

The God and Father of Jesus is not triune by common consent . The God and Father of Jesus is also the God and Father of Jesus' disciples . Therefore the God and Father of Jesus' disciples is not triune.

Paul was an actual monotheist and thus rendered exclusive sacred service to one most high God. Whom he clearly identifies as the God and Father of Jesus Christ.
Matthew Ch.16:16NKJV"Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”" not merely the living Father but the living God to whom all believers owe EXCLUSIVE Devotion/Sacred Service.

The God and Father of Jesus Christ is the only true God.

Yes it says he is coming and that one is the Father who we know is Jehovah.
Starting with Rev 1. Verse 8 it says he is “the one who is and who was and is coming.” Now back peddle and read 4-5.
What do we see? It speaks of “the one who is and was and is coming” and then notice it says AND Jesus Christ. What does that make us think?

Actually JEHOVAH'S Servants believe that both the Father and the Son are coming.
Isaiah ch.40:10ASV"Behold, the Lord JEHOVAH will COME as a mighty one, and his arm will rule for him: Behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him."
The Son is the father's representative. So anything by and to him can be said to be done to and by JEHOVAH. Just as anything done to and by Christ representative can be said to be done to by Christ.
Acts ch.3:26NIV"When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.”
Of course the risen Christ did not literally appear to those first century Hebrews, but the testimony of his authorized representatives was equivalent to an appearance by the risen Christ.
The apostle Paul even applies a Messianic prophecy to himself and Barnabus.
Acts ch.13:47NIV"For this is what the Lord has commanded us: “’I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’” Compare Isaiah ch.42:6
Let’s take a look at these 2 texts Knieshia shared with us.
Rev 21:23 reads: “And the city has no need of the sun nor of the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God illuminated it, and its lamp was the Lamb.” Then Rev 22:5: “Also, night will be no more, and they have no need of lamplight or sunlight, for Jehovah God will shed light upon them, and they will rule as kings forever and ever.” Remember Hebrews 1:3? He (Jesus) is the reflection of God’s glory and the exact representation of his very being,”
So Rev 21 tells us in heaven, there is no moon or sun for light, but “light” comes from the “Glory of God,” and the Lamb.
Then according to Hebrews, Jesus is the “reflection” of God’s Glory.
So naturally Rev 22:5 identifies Jehovah himself as the ultimate source of the “light” that the anointed use to rule.” Jesus simply reflects it.
In addition, we see 2 Samuel 21:17 calls David the “lamp of Israel” please note:
“At once A·bishʹai the son of Ze·ruʹiah came to his aid and struck the Phi·lisʹtine down and put him to death. At that time the men of David swore this oath to him: “You must not go out with us to battle anymore! You must not extinguish the lamp of Israel!”
Solomon was called the “lamp” as well at 1 Kings 11:36:
“To his son I will give one tribe, so that David my servant may always have a lamp before me in Jerusalem, the city that I have chosen for myself as the place to put my name.”

Jesus and the myriads of angelic beings are unified with their Creator (Jehovah God) that when god says "I'M COMING" its not himself, literally but a representative of his either Jesus or other angelic forces. The watchtower bible and tract society would not deliberately change what the source translations have written to fit our own narrative. So obviously what it says in the bible quotes you used doesn't mean what you think it means
Jesus himself also said "No man has seen God at any time; the only-begotten god who is at the Father’s side is the one who has explained Him." (John 1:18)
These 2 verses should trump all the rhetoric that Jesus is THE GOD (Jehovah). This verse is self explanatory. Jehovah can't come to the earth not because of a flaw or limitations of his part but because he is ALL-POWERFUL and life on earth down to the literal earth cannot withstand Jehovah's very presence (fitting for someone to whom describes himself as ALMIGHTY, INFINITE IN POWER, A CONSUMING FIRE, ALPHA AND OMEGA)
This is not to offend you are to one up you but to show you that Bible interpretation can vary and misunderstanding can be adopted.

An Excellent point! 1 John 4:12 says “No man hath seen God at ANY TIME.” -KJV
So “God”can’t equal the Father as John 1:18 also tells us.
It can’t be Jesus because people saw him all the time.
It can’t be the trinity because that would include the Father and the world cannot contain Jehovah.
At 1 Kings 8:27 we read “But will God really dwell on the earth? Look! The heavens, yes, the heaven of the heavens, cannot contain you; how much less, then, this house that I have built!"
In this text we see King Solomon showing that the "heaven of the heavens", meaning our known universe and galaxy cannot contain Jehovah. This means that he is so powerful he cannot even enter into our physical dimension, because if he did, he would rip apart the laws and physics of our known universe, because it cannot contain him.
Solomon further reinforces that point with the opening expression of verse 27, "But will God really dwell on the earth".

Now this conflicts with the name, Jehovah as it starts with Jeh. The first thing to note is that there is no J in the Hebrew Alphabet, the letter J comes from the English language. You can google that. So we already have an issue with Jehovah. Then there's the case of the vowel in between the Y and the H of the YHWH. It is an "E", when in Psalm 68:4, the name of the Prophets, and in the word, Halleluyah, it is an "A"
And it cannot be Yah and Jehovah at the same time due to the conflicting nature of the two. Yah =/= Jeh, they're only similar by a letter, that being "H". Then there's the case of the next vowel of YHWH or יהוה

Given that Yah and Yahu can be supported by the Psalms, Hebrew names of the Prophets and the very word of Praise, we can rule out Jehovah. While I do use a KJV, I do not believe it is the most perfect Bible and do not use Jehovah for the reasons above. This is also why I deny Yahweh as there is no second vowel in it, though it is correct in the first part, that is Yah. I am still studying the name and I have found that it is YaHuWaH(I uppercased the letters to emphasize the YHWH, but normally it would be Yahuwah)

But, Jesus, has been given a “much greater” task, Jesus is the last King to be anointed by Jehovah God, and his job is to rid the earth of all wickedness and all “failed human governments,” bring peace to the earth, and restore it.
Then, at the end of his assignments, Jesus hands the “Kingdom” back to his “God” and “Father,” and “subjects” himself to Jehovah God.
Here, is the Scriptural Proof:

So, clearly, “very clearly,” according to the Bible, as shown above, Jesus “is not” Jehovah.

But, if anyone wants to “dispute” this Bible truth, and “insist” that “Jesus is Jehovah,” or insist on saying that “Jesus is God,” don't “grasp at straws.”

You bring up Revelation 1.8. If you look at v.4 you will see they are both speaking of the same being. But the One in v.4 is differentiated from the Jesus Christ of v.5. Hence, the One in v.8 can not be Jesus Christ either!

History shows us that Jesus didn't leave us a bible, - the apostles didn't tell us which books belong in the bible, - the church fathers never agreed on the 27 books of the NT through the 4th century, - not only did they not agree but their individual lists of would-be NT canons were GROWING during this time, growing in numbers of hundreds of “inspired” NT writings.
Therefore, if it wasn't the Catholic/Orthodox church that compiled the 27 books of the NT in the 5th century with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and preserved it by laboriously hand copying them over and over throughout the centuries before the invention of the printing press, the “rule of faith” for many, please tell us who did? And if this church no longer exists today, what good is the text which came forth from her if she couldn't sustain herself?

The Bible clearly states that before humans appeared on the earth, only Jehovah's family of witnesses existed in the universe. The first witness to leave the family was the angel who became "Satan" the first apostate. Today, either one is serving Jehovah or the adversary Satan. There is no sitting on the fence.
You cannot base an argument using Revelations, because it was written by an unknown person named John, who claimed to have a revelation in his dreams. The entire book is from one unknown person’s dreams. There is no evidence that the book was inspired by God. No person of rationale will rely on the dreams of a random, unknown person to base their afterlife on, especially when it contradicts the message of Jesus and all previous prophets.
