Did I miss it or did you explain the functional reasons for these? Is it to try and expel heat from the wheel well? I get why the other commenter thinks these are a bit expensive for what they are but also get what it usually takes to create these. The price of 3d printers these days I reckon people could have a good go at making something the self that’d be close to this if they’re handy enough.
The main purpose of fender vents is to relieve built up air pressure from inside the wheel arches, which causes aerodynamic lift. The turbulent air caught in fenders also causes drag. heat is another reason. I’ve also heard relieving air using a lower fender vent, can help flow down the side of the car from swirling. (I can’t personally speak to that. Just something I read on a forum) When It comes to price. You can build anything you want. But the cost of a printer and my time to make one wasn’t worth a few hundred bucks. I don’t charge myself labor but I try to be reasonable when spending too much time building something that doesn’t really cost very much. For example, I build my own aluminum egr delete plates. I have scrap metal. It takes me about 15-20 minutes to build and saves me $15-20. The main point is, they are extremely well designed and built. They have good flex along with the rigidity needed. I’ve done many “direct swap” “bolt on” upgrades that didn’t fit right and took too long to install. We spent about 3 hours total (with recording) and had no problems/redos. It was worth every penny.
@@TenzaMotorsports cheers for the explanation. Agree on the development side of things to. You get what you pay for most of the time or you pay for a brand name some of the time. If you’re interested enough and apply yourself most people can do a lot of things with the right tools/equipment and time, but there’s still a reason why companies offer products like this to cut that part out 👍🏻
@@TenzaMotorsports arrogant answer from someone who thinks his big shot because he posts on youtube... ive done custom work for better part of last 10 years on cars youll never be able to afford in your entire life. i can make same pieces out of carbon for about 50 after i have the mould so tell me exactly how the justified price of 325 for plastic one?

Poor design? How do you know? They fit better than almost any other upgrade I’ve done. It was a piece of cake. And no I will not pay you to prove your point lol. It’s your point to be made. My point has already been made. Excellent product. Excellent design and build. As straight forward as you can get.
