Um…did she say that ?? I’m pretty sure She just said she didn’t know this song. That ain’t the same as never having heard of the band
1000% TOTALLY AWESOME. I don't want to hear the song ANY OTHER WAY NOW. BRAVO
I thought it was a different and exciting change and not a train wreck as a lot of musicians would do. Great Job!
Most people dont realize how incredibly difficult this is to do. Much respect to Jemma for her interpretation without ever hearing thr orginal first. 👏👏👏
All i saw was Huey Lewis and i immediately clicked. Thank you RUclips and Pianote you have a new sub. Music was a craft in the 80's.. That's why bands existed as they all had their own unique take on pop music. I can appreciate the newer generation being introduced to what the generation back then had the pleasure of growing up with.
Musicians like Jemma are humble enough to appreciate the song and play for the SONG.
Whatta beautiful, insanely talented woman
Omg the solo!!! Bravo! She’s amazing!
That's talent right there!
You sure can tell a true talent this way. Jemma did a amazing job pretty much starting from scratch with only a few key cords. Jemma's sounded as good as Huey's did. Great job!!!
She is amazing !! I hope that she doesn't miss the opportunity and watch BTTF ... ASAP.
I cannot get enough of these sorts of videos. Keep 'em coming...thanks for the great content!
My admiration for the skills of professional musicians ever grows. This is amazing!
Someone needs to get this to Huey's people and let him hear it. I bet he'd love it.
Good lord. Such respect. She even basically got the opening riff, amazing! 🔥 Can't get enough of these videos!
That solo was incredible!!!!!!!!!! I could listen to 4:33 over and over and over again. Sensational!!!
That was awesome! 👏🙌😎 I'm a huge Huey Lewis fan, and that was great! 👌🤩 Tough challenge!
Blinkin' brilliant job. ...and Jemma's version even sounded '80s... Couldn't stop *grinning* all the way through... 😄🙃😊
I love the original song, but Jemma’s version was really good! I really enjoyed this!
The links in the chorus were fing sweet. Very nice!
Very nice, Jemma! This is a tune from my high school days, and to hear your remake of the keyboard and bass parts based only on the vocals is really fun. You've come a long way from your days playing jazz piano in the Revolutionists. Onward and upward!
I admire her so freaking much!! 😍😍😍
These segments are absolutely Awesome!
She has such a rich feeling!
I would love to see Huey Lewis' reaction to this video
Like her take on it, particularly the solo.
