      Yeah they’re very different beasts and go well together. Being able to use link and sync them up makes it pretty seamless.

    Great video! I found out tonight that holding shift when selecting the instrument (drum racks) brings up a new bank of options, including gate mode. Much better for sampling imo.

      Yeah, that second bank has the filters too! There are “choke kit” and “gate kit” presets in the templates section of the browser. I’ve got another video coming tomorrow showing Melodics samples using the gate kit. I like trigger for drums and gate for samples mostly so far.

      @@herringson in the choke kit load your sample, play sample and hit record at the same time then select the next pads playing along with the sample to chop the beat
