Bro, Thank you a million times over because God knows without this video I was going to quick making music. I had GB's of old plug ins that I would get this message on. I just stopped opening logic after a while.
Brother you are a lifesaver I was pissed b/c I ran into this and you know I was installing something I should not warez. But the standalone warez work which was all I needed. Then I went to open logic and I knew this could happen although hoped I could bypass the BUs on start up but doesn't really give you the full ability to do so this video short sweet to the point and Fully Explanative. What if I don't want Logic to scan everytime but also I don't want to remove the plugins? Sometimes when I work remotely I just want to use the stock plugins without carrying my ilok with my whole licenses and it takes forever to skip all the plugins that are not authorized.
Hi so my issue is that I can’t get my plug-in manager to open at all because i can only open my logic without the core audio. If i try to open in regular and get to the plug in manager the losing cursor will come up and then nothing happens. Also i have zero plug ins so i’m not sure what it’s looking for.

I have followed these steps and more, and Xpand!2 just won't disappear from logics scan or plug in manager. I have removed absolutely everything related to "xpand" and still can't overcome this hurdle when launching Logic. Also it gives me a headache about core pointer audio but as long as I can click okay on that window, Logic still launches okay.
This does not stop the Logic plugin indexing process, it just can't find the deleted files. How can i disable the plugin scan/license analysis process in Logic?
the first part...yes it is removing failed validations, but copying the components folder from one to the next should do the job once you have deleted the faulty plugins
My issue is not related to demos but instead it just wants to scam no matter what. It says audiounits but it's mainly waves no one else. Once the scan is complete everything works and all is available but when I close and go back into logic, it wants to scan all over again! 1072 plugins it seeks to scan every time
Does anyone know how to find the plug-in manager without actually opening up logic? Every time I open up logic it stays stuck on searching for the plug-ins and I get the Beachball of death so there’s no way I can maneuver to the taskbar.
so you didn't actually show how to "Stop Logic Plugins From Rescaning Everytime You Open!" as your title suggests at all. what you actually did was simply show how to delete plugins from the plugin folder. might want to change that title
Deleting the problem plugins from the folder “stops” they from reloading everytime you load logic…almost 30k views…tons of comments…and nobody has ever asked me to “change the title” lol 🤷🏾♂️
@@Johnmike im not asking you to change it m8 I'm letting you know its misleading because you are deleting plugins not stopping it scanning for them which would be different and I haven't yet found a way to do and was kind of hoping you had lol

Or just click abort. You can still use the plugins even tho you abort.

I never had this issue with the Duet but now that I just got Apollo Solo installed a day backlit keeps scanning all plugins.
Hmmm. This doesn't stop Logic scanning plugins. What you are actually doing is removing failed validations. Absolutely not the same thing.
