Fantastic!
Finally had a reason to want to use capture record, but of course I forgot what it was called and how to do it. Not 60 seconds later, having done a quick search of "capture" on your channel and I've got the performance I wanted. Thank you!
Amazing job 👏!
Amazing, great content.
oooooo separate by midi note region. damn. i wish i’ve known this. this is going to save me so much time.
The first tip saved me a lot of time!
Great video with alot of help. The only thing I didnt get to work was the Option drag timestretch with apple loops
Thanx Chris!
Loved your first tip. Drives me crazy to not have that first midi note sound. THANKS!
Thanks!
thank you...new sub
Sir, thank you 🤲🏾🙏🏾
Great video! When I hit capture record after playing several chords WITHOUT hitting play before then my midis are arranged above each other and just play s small note length - the timing and length of the notes aren’t transferred properly, it’s just capturing which note I played. If I hit play before everything just works fine.
On a side note: if you cycle a certain part and you’re just hitting notes while trying out your new synth and you find a really awesome melody by accident then you can also hit capture record and it shows you all the different loop variations you just played as alternative tracks and you can switch in between them and choose the best you just played. You have to have activate the option that it doesn’t overwrite tracks if you record in cycle-mode but instead creates alternative tracks. I believe this option is inside the recording settings!
separate by note pitch! yesss so helpful on drums omg yes. also 1k likes and zero thumbs down you know thats a good video
Thank you
hey friend. great video

You sir, are doing the Lord's work. Thank you!
Honestly . . . your logic knowledge i want all of it
No 8 is great. You can layer synth sounds over the WAV sample. Using that tonight.
Really valuable stuff! Packed with informative details. No. 1. Had been plaguing me! Thank you! You’ve saved me loads of hassle on a project i’m working on. Great stuff!
Ace channel, thank you for all your tips. A question if I may? Do you know if Logic has a way to set a track as the output of another for recording? So, hit record on the track and then, say, fade rides of the input track are then recorded to it? Cheers, bro!
