Woodturning - Walnut Dice tray with donor wood!

During the Christmas holidays we played Qwixx, a game with 6 dice. I thought it would be useful to make a small and simple tray for throwing the dice.
I made this tray from a piece of walnut (thanks Leo), but the edges where not high enough. So I used two pieces of offcut wood as donor to raise the edge. The tray has a diameter of 6 inches.
After sanding I put the tray in the oil. Only later the idea come up to stick felt on the bottom. I removed the oil from the bottom so that I got a good bond for the glue.

Hello frank, you made a beautiful dice tray.
It is nice to see that you are also cutting your blanks in preparation and storing them in your workshop for later use.
