Very pretty and useful eggs Frank. I love how you tied it all together with the chickens. Most of my saw dust goes to our daughter for her chickens. Works out because we usually get some eggs when we drop it off.
Great video my friend I loved it.

I also like that the chips now have a good purpose. The chickens love it. Thanks again for watching Gary. 🤗

Nice work Frank That’s some very nice looking egg cup’s! Some good looking chickens too, I used to have one that would jump up and down at my feet until I picked it up, enjoyed the video 👍

Chickens are sociable animals. Very nice to have them with you when you work in the garden. Thanks for watching Kimsey!

That wood seemed very hard but the results were worth the effort. Beautiful brain 😃

    • @TheTinyWorkshop

It is very hard. Almost too hard to turn nicely.
      Thanks again for watching.

Great egg cups but when I saw the wood I just kept thinking of Monty Python and the Holy Grail!

Hmm, I'm not really familiar with this movie🤔.
But nice that you like the egg cups and that it reminds you of something😁.
      Thanks for watching👍.

Very enjoyable at this end Frank ... are you enjoying them too ? Twice over I expect (turning and using). Thanks for sharing🙏 Stay safe. -Mike😷💉

Turning was difficult, but fun to do. I don't use them, it was a giveaway. But Peter is very happy with it and so is his wife. And the chickens are happy with the wood chips. So everyone happy. 😁
      Thanks for watching Mike.

Nice work, if I had a bigger yard I think chickens would be the go :-) stay safe, John

I would also like to have chickens myself, but my garden is also too small. I am therefore happy that I can make someone else's chickens happy. Thanks for watching John.

Hi Frank, As everyone else has said, great looking egg cups. Something I've been wanting to make for a while. Take care Frank. Cheers, Huw

Thanks Huw. If you don't take hard wood, they are fun quick projects to make. Nice if you can't stand behind the lathe for a long time like you are at the moment.
      Take care.

Amazing looking egg cups Frank, what an extraordinary grain that wood has. I could see how hard it was and enjoyed the sounds of it being cut in real time too ☺️
    Keep on turning.
    Cheers, Bluey 👍

Thanks Bluey. I switched to carbide because it was almost impossible to do with the gouge.

Great job Frank! I like spindle turning and it seems you are getting more into it as well.
That wood was pretty hard indeed!

    • @TheTinyWorkshop
      @TheTinyWorkshop  3 года назад

That is why I also chose this wood. This can take the beating of a hard boiled egg.😁
