You’d think they would get rid of the even number models like A5, A7 since they’re niche cars and carry little brand recognition. The A4 has been with us for years. Why Audi!?

That "nice gloss-black finish" on the console is going to be a fingerprint magnet! I wish Audi would use a nice wood-grained material as standard. Also, I'm sure gonna miss the tilt-up sunroof like my A4 has to vent heat out of the interior.
That interior 🤮 why with all the big plastic screens? the older A6/7/8 screens were much nicer, a normal sized digital cockpit, and the two smaller screens in the middle, one for satnav, one for climate controls etc. I bet the interior build quality isn't as good as it was before either, looks like they're taking the BMW/Mercedes route with giant plastic glossy screens, probably has a laggy OS too with underpowered hardware
Honestly these days automakers create more of a gadget rather than a car that we’ve come to love. Forget that horrible looking steering wheel, those high-end screens, piano plastic trim makes it less practical, less engaging and un-natural. It’s obviously downgrade. Only handful of automakers (probably Mazda being one of them aside from high end Porsche) still make cars, not gadgets: practical screens (not huge, not diminutive, just the right size), a bit heavy steering wheel, less-spongy suspension and of course physical buttons for A/C. Kudos to Mazda!

Audi sinking to new lows with interior quality and design. Overall, the car looks OK externally, but £73k starting price for a base S5 Avant, so what the Black Edition will be over £80k I'm guessing. BMW M340 Touring is £59k and with almost every option added, still less than the new Audi. The BMW has a much better interior, is faster, looks better and it's a LOT cheaper, not to mention BMW finance rates are half Audis.
