I like the idea of Young Griff getting the throne, establishing himself, then having to deal with his lineage being questioned. I think it’ll happen differently though. Instead of arguing whether he’s a Targeryan or a Blackfyre, people will simply spread rumors he’s not a Targeryan. There are many who already question the legitimacy of his story and his identity. In the end, Illyrio or Varys will verify to him that he’s not a Targeryan.. but a “Targeryan” as in a Blackfyre

I kinda hate this fandom sometimes -.- the book will outright state facts and the fandom cries “but but but Jon!” And all I can ever think is “why?” You guys just all want a 1 note can do no wrong Gary Stu who has super hero magic blood and it’s a really really stupid thing to ask for over and over again in a story that could be far more interesting if you’d just read the text and not insist it’s all to do with one cocksucker

If you actually read the text the you would know it’s all POV. All were shown is through dialog, observation, and memory. Henceforth, it’s possible there is a lot we the reader are not seeing or are being deceived about.

Her camp campaign as though he’s a Blackfyre for sure, to sabotage his claim. Inadvertently they’re right of course and Dany gets to be Slayer of Lies again, but it’s another little morally-grey step down for her.

I think people dislike Aegon as he fits the role of secret heir that comes to set his fathers realms to rights and this connects to people not liking the Jon is potentially this prophecy baby but given this is GRRM we are taking about im sure he will subvert the trope in numerous ways
I don't think people like Young Griff as a character that much but they are greatly interested in his storyline. I don't think I've heard of a single person who's favorite character is Faegon

my prediction how aegon fits into the others plot is, that the dragon has 3 heads and its important to the others and azor ahai prophecy. "There must be one more, the dragon has 3 heads." Rheager and master aemon knew this. The 3 heads are most likely dany, jon, and aegon. Dany with her dragons , jon with lightbringer and Aegon with sword blackfyre
Facts, IDK why everyone sees this so divided, Aegon, Dany, and Jon have all had their rash, fiery moments, but at their cores are good people, molded by good influences, and will unite for the realm as the 3 heads of the dragon needed for the world to survive the long night.
The statue in the gardens of Illyrio's mance is an overlooked clue. He tells Tyrion that an artist made the statue of Illyrio when he was 6 and 10. But that doesn't make sense. In the same chapter, Illyrio tells Tyrion that he was a poor boy with a Bravosi blade when he met Varys. Why would an important artist make a sculpture of a poor kid, and where would Illyrio put such a thing, as he wasn't rich yet. Tyrion notes that the sword on the statue shines like real steel, which makes me wonder if the statue is actually of Aegon, the sword is the real Blackfyre sword, hidden in plain sight. Illyrio's second wife had the classic Valeryan features, and he mentions that it's the male line of the Blackfyres that is extinguished which implies that maybe the female line is not extinct, otherwise why not just say the line is dead. Aegon could actually be the son of Illyrio and his second wife, it would make sense that he is the boy in the statue. Illyrio also says that he has debts of affection and the only people he ever expresses affection for is his wife and the boy. That would explain several things, Aegon's physical appearance for example, and explains too why the eggs were given to Danerys. She is undoubtedly blood of the line that hatched and rode dragons, and if Aegon is Illyrio and Sara's son, he would be less likely to be able to hatch them, he may not even be a Blackfyre, he just looks the part because of the Valeryan features. They likely thought that the eggs wouldn't hatch at all, but if they did, they could marry her to Aegon.

Sometimes i think the whole point of ASOIAF is that "history repeats itself", Daenerys is going to be Aegon the conqueror all over again, and Young Griff vs Daenerys will be the Dance of Dragons all over again (i think they will fight for the throne, i dont believe they will be allies)

Who do think gerold daynes parents are? Do you think those details could ever be important to where his storyline goes. Ive heard theories about gerold daynes parents being gerold hightower and ashara dayne or being the bastard son of oberyn. Also do you think any aspects of the storylines involving the North wanting to go to war with the lannisters or the greyjoy rebellions maybe inspired by the movie braveheart or the scottish fight for independence. Robb starks and ned stark kinda give me william wallace vibes and both were betrayed and died in ways that they didn't deserve like william wallace. And the reason the greyjoy rebellion gave me braveheart vibes is just that ironborn culture kinda just feels very similar to not only viking culture but also celtic culture. And the iron born wanting to be independent from the other kingdoms again and baelon wanting to king just reminds me of the Scottish fight for independence.

we talk a lot about Aryanne being Aegon's future wife, but what if she becomes Princess Regnant of Dorne & is a member of Aegon's Small Council? Aurane Waters would be a foreshadowing of the beautiful concelor.
Margaery marrying Aegon would parallel the Duchess of Brittany marrying 3 French kings & Alienor of Aquitaine marrying the French & the English kings, which was one of the causes of the 100-year War.
And, yes, Aegon won't be happy with Tyrion, which may be the linchpin for annulling his marriage with Sansa, so Aegon can take her as a "legal" 2nd wife, in order to unite Westeros, with which the Faith would totally not agree.

When entertaining whether or not Young Griff acts like Prince Rhaegar, people seem to forget not only that within the Targeryan family even, the disposition(s) of either or both parents does not always seem to play a role in how the natural personality turns out, even those actually raised by their parents (I’m thinking like Jahaerys’s kids specifically lol). And obviously Young Griff wasn’t raised by Rhaegar. And Rhaegar, Dany, and Viserys (who I would say vary wildly in nature) were all parented by the same people and had wildly different childhood personalities.
But even if you’re going to compare him to Rhaegar, they seem to forget that there’s a clear line that cleaves its way through his own childhood-“It seems I must become a warrior”-so like, who he “became” in perception isn’t even reflective of who he was inside; Barriston himself confirms this to Dany, anyone who seems to know him personally seems to know he was kind of a haunted man, and we know this is because he learned of Aegon’s prophecy. Griff doesn’t know anything about that, so he wouldn’t be similarly shaped by that specific burden.
I kinda see Bronn as a King Guard for Aegon 6th. Brienne of Tarth eventually becomes a Kings Guard. I think it will be Jon Snow heritage will undoes Faegon.

Why does no one talk about the fact aegon can possibly get a dragon? Especially with what we know about dragons after hotd dany only gets 1 eventually the other two can choose/bond to other riders i.e., young griff/aegon.

why everyone is making blackfyre videos nowadays?
I personally think faegon dies trying to claim one of the dragons but that depends on whether blackfyres can claim a dragon, faegon especially likely has quite diluted “targaryen” blood. I think tyrion will be the third head of the dragon due to his somewhat targaryen like features, the rumours that joanna lannister and the mad king had sex and all the foreshadowing coming from tyrion being obsessed with riding a dragon when he was a child.
