Just kidding but using his restriction at its fullest potential regardless of the Zen in clan beliefs. Even though they f him up in the head he at least cared a bit about his wives and megumi. Staright up assasin.
The batman vibes I got from toji was insane, his battle IQ is on another level, it's a shame gojo bodies him next episode, but toji is overall more complex, well written and just a better character than gojo in my opinion 😊
I keep seeing this comparison and it's scary funny how accurate it really is.

@@justsomeguywithamustache2901only if anyone with a brain had their powers they'd hover in the sky and blast Toji or Batman them before they can even think...plot is the only thing that would save batman. Even in the comics or movies it made no sense for SM to not fly above him laser him. Sukuna should be teleporting and spamming purple from the sky😂😂😂
How? Like seriously, how is he better written and more complex? If you think he's cooler than sure, but I don't think he's objectively any more complex. He's just a cool and interesting character.

For all the screen time he’s had, he’s instantly become one of my favorite badass characters of all time, God would I give to have a Toji side story OVA or something. How he came to despise the Zenin clan.

Uh we already know how, they treated him like sht and would never be considered important to hold a rank in a clan. What more do you need?
What we dont know is how he defected out of the clan and if he was chased down or about his wives and how megumi came to be. So far we know he cares about megumi, his mind got f up and traumatized to not give a f up zenin but he wants his son to have a better life then he did.
peoples need to understand that like every human being with same body some are better and some are not because of their life exp mind and personality natural skills ......so the point is even though maki has same body with heavenly res .she cant be same as toji ....toji defeated all cursed spirits in well when he was child ...he formed strong bond with cursed spirit .even geto cant steal it ...tojis iq ....his mindset made his heavenly res more op.....like when maki was facing naoya cursed she didnt have the mindset ....she adopted but it took lot of time if others werent there she would have died toji survived alone ...toji is always shown by gege as
a genius ....
I'm a Toji fan too but Toji (unlike Gojo) is not really person you want to be around with. He definitely is a badass character in his own right but a shitty father and cruel mercenary. He wanted to die in this job after loosing any respect for others or himself. Even years later he still polarized.
Fair point. I think part of it was more that Toji wanted to distance himself from Megumi so he could have a better life, but I can see where you’re coming from as well.
@@ShonenOuji he didn't save money on a account for Megumi and Tsumiki. Megumi was supposed to be sold to the Zenins. Distancing himself is one thing but wasting all the money you have is another.
For such a major character Toji is barely in the story. In the anime even shorter time with how the adaptation is going. This video did a good explaining why in a succinct way. Don't have much to add.

He reminds me alot like Vergil from DMC. We literally had barely any information about him in the first game yet he was so hyped by the fans. DMC3 showed who he was how he is and what he can do. So it was little to no suprise even though he didnt appear in DMC4(besides update), he was heavily anticipated in DMCV. Vergil a legend that every fan knew of when vergil was on screen he was the coolest character that was going to bring even more badass to the story. I get the same effect from Toji ❤

Wait, but Luffy is somebody that would be annoying after a few hours of being around him, not to mention way too dangerous to hangout with. Nami is a sexist abusive woman, and Sanji’s a psychopathic white knight. I love the series, but let’s be honest a lot of the characters you wouldn’t want to actually meet or if you did, you would quickly be annoyed by or hate.
Toji isn’t fighting against the system he’s a result of it. The failures of the conservatives, the zenin clan is what created monsters like Toji and led to so much tragedy.

the weapon that he uses to stab gojo at first is an anti curse technic weapon so thats why he cuold stab gojo
The first weapon was a regular katana. That’s how he went undetected. Otherwise they would have sensed the cursed energy.
I rlly wish there was more manga panel drawing in the anime ep. Like that one panel where he cuts open the cursed spirit and just has this massive grin and whited out eyes.
