Short answer: No. Long answer: Geto sums this topic up nicely, “Are you the strongest because you’re Satoru Gojo? Or are you Satoru Gojo because you’re the strongest?” I feel like this scene alone disproves any notion that Gojo is nothing other than the strongest. Him letting Geto go when he could’ve killed him right then and there speaks volumes to me. Gojo genuinely wants to change the world and realizes he can’t do it alone. The Hidden Inventory arc and Volume 0 really shows that behind Gojo’s seemingly empty character to some, is a character that while being the strongest still is human. (Gojo > Sukuna)
Honestly, this is exactly why Gojo is my favourite character in JJK. I'm hoping we get some backstory behind sukuna which can make the final fight an emotional clash between the two, so the fight can have more depth. Just imagine Gojo and Sukuna both have tragic backstories. I think that'll be peak JJK.

@@Tan2bia I think it’s more or less implied that both share the same sadness of being the most powerful beings without ever experiencing the thrill of a fight and no one really understands them due to them being in a entirely different league of their own. I think their final fight will be less hate and more fun for them I think thematically it would make sense for both of them to kill each other so both have the pleasure or a real battle one last time. Because ironically Sukuna maybe is the only one who understand Gojo and vice versa

“Throughout heaven & earth, I alone am the honored one” Gojo seems to portray himself like a god, he can’t be beaten, puts fear in others and is seemingly all powerful. Always confident, cool headed & wise However being a God or thinking of yourself as one, comes with the responsibility of looking out for/taking care of others, bearing the weight of the world or others on your shoulders, even putting aside your own emotions to remain calm, unfazed & proceed forward. Because Gods don’t have time to grieve or feel sad. Gojo had to kill his best friend, watch his body be used like a puppet, possibly kill him again, discovered Megumi is being used by the strongest cursed spirit, has to fight & figure out a way to exercise him without killing Megumi or kill Megumi in the process and not even including when he finds out about everything that happened after he got sealed. Despite all that he still remains confident and unfazed, but on the inside he’s likely broken, trying to hold it together. Ig that’s the blessing/curse of the six eyes. You process time differently, a second to us is a minute to to gojo in his brain, he probably had all the time to grieve in his head. Gojo & Sukuna are beautiful opposites, Sukuna is a human turned God (metaphorically), who doesn’t care about anyone but himself & Gojo was basically born a God (metaphorically) trying to be human and caring for others imo

I really like how Yuji's so determined "Give Gojo Sensei back" to Kenjuku in Shibuya arc, how Megumi was excited in his head to free Gojo from prison realm in Culling Game arc before Sukuna came in, how Yuta said "Sensei, I won't make you kill your best friend again" during Culling Game too.
Gojo is Superman, but in a good way. He recognized that the current way of things was dying and that while he might be "The Strongest" now, that he wanted to build a world that was safe without him. A world with many of "The Strongest" that would thrive in its power rather than isolate itself. Gojo thinks long term and decides that deciding everything himself is both wrong and shortsighted. Power doesn't break him, it makes him more kind and empathetic. Suguru broke in the face of wanton hatred and the enormity of the task of "saving the world". While Sukuna becomes selfish, Gojo becomes selfless.
if anything you could say that after his fight with Toji enlightened him "Throughout Heaven and Earth, I Alone Am The Honored One", he started to understand what was wrong with the Jujutsu world, it probably started when Nanami left or Geto did (idr which one happened first but I would assume nanami left first)and it all snowballed into current JJK where he tries to foster the new generations. He would rather look at what good they might bring in the future than the possibility of them becoming disasters

My favourite character until now, and I can foresee no one can beat him in my heart. Because gojo is so imperfect yet lovely that I want to become someone like him!
He basically a perfect human in every aspect, he is so ballance that he doesn't resemblance the yin or yang. He is the perfect yinyang itself. Normally making that kind of perfect character is easy for most of author, but making the reader feel related and understand the essence of the characters is what made gojo different and loved by a lots of people.
Gojos character arc is just done by the time volume 1 starts. It's all shown in vol 0 and hidden inventory and it was great. People need to realize he's not one of the kids he's not gonna grow through out the story as much as they do. His story arc is excellently summed up in 2 quotes "are you the strongest because you're Gojo, or are you Gojo because you're the strongest?" And also when he Domains Jogo and he says to Jogos comatose body "isn't it ironic? Even when you're blessed with everything, you can't manage to actually do anything"

Nice vid! Gojo isn’t an empty character but one that holds a lot of emptiness. Although he was able to evolve his CT through the Hidden Inventory arc, there was a great personal loss in being the strongest (losing Geto). Even in JJK0, he refers to Geto as his best friend (present tense). In Ch 220 when Shoko says he doesn’t want anyone else to have to be alone, I think he’s also referring to himself.
Geto did not back stab Gojo that's a huge misunderstanding of his character and their dynamic. Gojo stayed sane to live up to ideal version of Geto from their teens. He even went straight to Kenjaku not because he's a threat to his friends but because he wanted to give Geto a proper burial. Geto is the reason Gojo is good.
Really like the analysis. He is a leader and teacher. He is sane and insane at the same time. He is powerful but also human. We seem understand him but also we still try to know what's going on exactly inside his mind.

Imma disagree with one very key point in this video: Gojo. is NOT sane. Gojo LITERALLY advocates the idea of "You have to go a bit insane to survive" because literally, you HAVE to be a bit crazy to stick with ideologies like Being Kind In An Unkind World or even Being Tolerant And Understanding With People In A World Literally Designed To Have You Suffer (Quietly) (re: jujutsu society). you have to be a little crazy, a little unhinged, to face down curses that are literally built off of foundational fears and terrors outside of human control (Jogo: volcanoes; Hanami: nature, etc...). you have to be insane to accept those fears and turn them into your own weapon to use against the curses. Killing people who make you suffer? that is not an insane concept. You Hurt Me, I Hurt You is as basic as it gets. it's animalistic and instinctive. the HARDER and CRAZIER thing to do is to take on the suffering and accept it and build off of it. THAT'S what Gojo advocates. and the whole reason he is the "enlightened one" is that he also came to understand that negative emotions, positive emotions... these things that feed not just the curses but jujutsu sorcerers' cursed energy... ARE LINKED. they are not opposing forces, they are part of the same coin. "Love is the most twisted curse" is Gojo's pet theory for a REASON. So... no. it's not that Gojo doesn't go insane/isn't insane. HE IS. by this definition, he is ABSOLUTELY the craziest person in the entire canon. Geto Suguru, who wanted to slaughter every non-sorcerer so sorcerers didn't have to die? HE WAS THE SANE ONE. Lashing out against the thing that makes you suffer is a SANE response. and that's why Geto self-destructed. it's why Nanami left jujutsu society until he encountered the lack of meaning in corporatism. it's also why the elders in jujutsu society maintain such a strongly conservative hold on jujtusu society and reject new ideas, new cursed techniques, and are fine with killing children--because IT IS SANE TO MAINTAIN THE STATUS QUO. Gojo says "fuck the status quo" and Gojo says "I will accept no matter who you are". this, in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen, is not sane. it is absolutely batshit crazy because it puts into jeopardy a lot of things that maintain the pillars of said society. And we see that especially with how quickly it all falls apart when Gojo isn't there to assert himself, his beliefs with his own power. Progress halts, people are killed, and the status quo resumes. I think you've nailed a lot of points about Gojo here, but absolutely I think this is a big missed section. Gojo is strong not just because he's the Six Eyes, but he is strong because, like he told Megumi that one time, he is willing to risk death to achieve his goals. That? Is insane. And he tells his students to do the same. "Dying to win and risking death to win are completely different, Megumi. Give it your best. Be greedier."
How about Sukuna and his philosophy? "Why are you so weak? How can something that falls apart at a touch say that it wants to live happily? The weak have no choice but to swallow the suffering life throws at them." Sukuna only cares about strength but what are his motives? World domination? Anarchy? He says that he doesn't care about sorceres or curses he even ridicules the curses for banding together to try and have a world of only curses. But what got Sukuna like that? What happened? I feel like Sukuna is probably the most unknown character in the series cause even Kenjaku has a goal and that's just to evolve jujutsu sorcery to the next level and only because he finds it interesting. You could say he's like a scientist in a wah trying to push jujutsu sorcery to it's limits just to see how far he can get and what would happen. But Sukuna? The man is powerful as fuck but why? Why do you want to be so strong? What for? Maybe I'm dumb but I can't seem to figure out Sukuna. I love your videos because of the way you breakdown the story. It's very rational in my opinion. And I would love a video for Sukuna. Keep up the great work! I see nothing but fortune in your future!

I feel he is not an empty character and I also want to know what the prison realm did to him. Why did he not see himself when captured by it? Awww. most of his actins are a result of his broken friendship with Geto. As he realised how traumatised and broken Geto was due to the whole Toji event, only to have Tengen stabilise without even needing Riko Amani and also starting the mission without even wanting to sacrifice her like that... And also seeing the consequences of that, realising with time that he was so focused on his new abilities that he missed his friend stirring away from him and the Jujitsu world, cause he saw the evil in the world.... So "No one approves of massacres" cause he saw Geto do that and fail. And btw Geto and Toji's death mirror each other perfectly. And also Gojo keeps saying "no one can take the life away from young people", that's a huge remnant from the Riko Amani mission as both her life and Neto's life was warped. He also developed a moral understanding of his strength: when he was young he took it for granted, he took for granted the effect it had on others and on his best friend and the isolation it could have caused for him and everyone around him, he was arrogant about it, taking it as a given. But as he grew older and saw all the ramifications of his ascending, he realised that no one ever has to be left alone, that being the strongest alone is not good if you loose the most important people in your life. And he also he realised how flawed the system of the jujutsu high is. Even naming tried to get away from that system. That whole generation of sorcerers was like "Fuck jujutsu high man", ALL of them. He also saw the brutality of the Zenin family. He was just over the way things were handled. Instead of reacting with anger and trauma as Geto did (cause he was just a kid himself), he matured, even through the suffering he saw all around him. He did not experience it himself, as he is the strongest, but he suffered FOR THEM.
Gojo is the strongest cuz hes Gojo. His belief in himself and his students makes him more powerful than he would ever be alone. He is the personification of being greater than the sum of your parts.

Hear me out he promised gojo he would kill him when they first met. then yorozu speech about understanding his absolute strength and loneliness is the ultimate expression of love. Sakuna laughs and yorozu says noway youve already found love. In 221 when he and gojo meet again her words replays in his head i think he fell in love with gojos power
I have a theory, although i don't know if it can apply. We all know that Gojo was planning on savings Yuji from execution. What if Gojo was somehow researching on a way to separate Sukuna from Yuji and we all know Gojo has always been confident that he can win against Sukuna. What if that's the reason he didn't even flinch when he saw Sukuna in Megumi's body. Its a stretch but what if Gojo has figured out how to separate Sukuna from his host's body without killing the host🤔

Gojo is self-aware of himself and the fallacies of his world system, he is told he is the strongest with that it's not just him the Six Eyes have been the strongest tool for centuries and recognized as such. For secondary character he is wise to needing others versus the tug of war that goes on in the major clans for supremacy; he is not running rough shot over them, he even knows when to step aside even when his students are in a rough patch nearing death. Overall Sorcerers are few, it's easy for humans to give rise to curses, Geto statement about Gojo to me its narratively both, there are ways to kill six eyes user developed and undeveloped, yet Gojo was able to avoid his death.

Or are you Gojo Satoru because you're the strongest?” as both the jujutsu world and himself put all his worth into his strength. Saitama made sense because he is character is meant to be comedic and the show is also called, "One punch man.' if Gojo is already stronger than sukuna why not just skip the entire story up until the fight considering his character is already gonna win

Theory: Gojo will trade bodies with Megumi & host Sukuna after a big fight. And i really think Sukuna would love the 6 eyes, especially if Mahoraga is already dead. It fits to perfect in my head cannon, call me crazy but i believe this to be foreshadowed in the first few chapters. Yuji is going to eat Megumi. Since Megumi is now a cursed object due to hosting Sukuna. Also, the 10th shadow, will be Megumi. Or better, MeguMahoraga+ultra(sorry). Since Gojo will kill all shikigami's in his fight with Megumi hosting Sukuna. JJK started with 4 characters. Yuji, Megumi, Sukuna, Gojo. Gojo now hosting Sukuna fighting Yuji who now summons Megumi(+ALL shikigami addons up his sleeve). And winning because Megumahoraga going plusultra on that motherfocker is something even Sukuna didnt expect. But is the exact thing foreshadowed during the entire series, a 6 eye user being killed by 10 shadow user. Also cementing Gojo as the absolute most badass teacher, taking a huge personal L to get the W for his students, having absolute fate Yuji/Megumi will crush GojoSukuna. And just like Gege foreshadowed, everybody but Yuji will be dead...
Gege has created an amazing universe here and it saddens me that it kinda feels like he is rushing the story. He could have flushed out this story to go so far.
Gojo, especially after his death, seems to be a hollow character on purpose. Ever since Toji thrashed Gojo and Geto, it ruined the mindset of the two. Then, after Toji's death, Gojo puts up a facade as the strongest as he is the enlightened one who is above all others. In his final moments, Gojo doesn't see himself as the man he became, but as a teenager surrounded by his classmates
did yall ever stop to wonder that gojo has never won any fights at all? like... toji vs gojo fight, he still failed his mission in protecting riko. he "won" the fight against jogo, but didnt kill him. he let both jogo and hanami leave because he choosed to save yuji instead (like, both jogo and hanami were responsible for a lot of deaths in the future). its like, hes unbeatable in power but also he still can loose when making a wrong choice at the wrong time.

His development isnt "Id win" his development is that he realized that he couldnt do everything alone, at least in the longrun, or that even if he could, he doesnt want to. Thats why he couldnt kill geto, thats why when kenjaku appeard he paralized, thats why he is putting all his effort in nurturing people with potencial. Gojo doesnt want to be alone at the top and not only he, in fact he doesnt want any other sourcerer to feel what geto and he suffered. If you couldnt pick up something so obvious, then why do you even bother reading Jujutsu kaisen? Seriously I get that most people reading this manga are just plain old shonen readers and thats why they are so superficial, but do you even bother reading the manga or you just fast pass the pages?

Gojo is Superman, but in a good way. He recognized that the current way of things was dying and that while he might be "The Strongest" now, that he wanted to build a world that was safe without him. A world with many of "The Strongest" that would thrive in its power rather than isolate itself.
Gojo thinks long term and decides that deciding everything himself is both wrong and shortsighted. Power doesn't break him, it makes him more kind and empathetic. Suguru broke in the face of wanton hatred and the enormity of the task of "saving the world".
While Sukuna becomes selfish, Gojo becomes selfless.
if anything you could say that after his fight with Toji enlightened him "Throughout Heaven and Earth, I Alone Am The Honored One", he started to understand what was wrong with the Jujutsu world, it probably started when Nanami left or Geto did (idr which one happened first but I would assume nanami left first)and it all snowballed into current JJK where he tries to foster the new generations. yes, it's almost all that Gojo is, but the way the author works around this concept of being the strongest and show it's negative effects too is what makes Gojo brilliant. The infinite techinique is also a representation of how hard is for Gojo to make meaningful relationships.

He basically a perfect human in every aspect, he is so ballance that he doesn't resemblance the yin or yang. He is the perfect yinyang itself. Normally making that kind of perfect character is easy for most of author, but making the reader feel related and understand the essence of the characters is what made gojo different and loved by a lots of people.
Gojos character arc is just done by the time volume 1 starts. It's all shown in vol 0 and hidden inventory and it was great. People need to realize he's not one of the kids he's not gonna grow through out the story as much as they do.
His story arc is excellently summed up in 2 quotes "are you the strongest because you're Gojo, or are you Gojo because you're the strongest?" And also when he Domains Jogo and he says to Jogos comatose body "isn't it ironic? Even when you're blessed with everything, you can't manage to actually do anything"

Nice vid! Gojo isn’t an empty character but one that holds a lot of emptiness. Although he was able to evolve his CT through the Hidden Inventory arc, there was a great personal loss in being the strongest (losing Geto). Even in JJK0, he refers to Geto as his best friend (present tense). In Ch 220 when Shoko says he doesn’t want anyone else to have to be alone, I think he’s also referring to himself.

Geto did not back stab Gojo that's a huge misunderstanding of his character and their dynamic. Gojo stayed sane to live up to ideal version of Geto from their teens. He even went straight to Kenjaku not because he's a threat to his friends but because he wanted to give Geto a proper burial. Geto is the reason Gojo is good.

Imma disagree with one very key point in this video: Gojo. is NOT sane.
Gojo LITERALLY advocates the idea of "You have to go a bit insane to survive" because literally, you HAVE to be a bit crazy to stick with ideologies like Being Kind In An Unkind World or even Being Tolerant And Understanding With People In A World Literally Designed To Have You Suffer (Quietly) (re: jujutsu society). you have to be a little crazy, a little unhinged, to face down curses that are literally built off of foundational fears and terrors outside of human control (Jogo: volcanoes; Hanami: nature, etc...). you have to be insane to accept those fears and turn them into your own weapon to use against the curses.
Killing people who make you suffer? that is not an insane concept. You Hurt Me, I Hurt You is as basic as it gets. it's animalistic and instinctive. the HARDER and CRAZIER thing to do is to take on the suffering and accept it and build off of it. THAT'S what Gojo advocates. and the whole reason he is the "enlightened one" is that he also came to understand that negative emotions, positive emotions... these things that feed not just the curses but jujutsu sorcerers' cursed energy... ARE LINKED. they are not opposing forces, they are part of the same coin. "Love is the most twisted curse" is Gojo's pet theory for a REASON.
So... no. it's not that Gojo doesn't go insane/isn't insane. HE IS. by this definition, he is ABSOLUTELY the craziest person in the entire canon. Geto Suguru, who wanted to slaughter every non-sorcerer so sorcerers didn't have to die? HE WAS THE SANE ONE. Lashing out against the thing that makes you suffer is a SANE response. and that's why Geto self-destructed. it's why Nanami left jujutsu society until he encountered the lack of meaning in corporatism. it's also why the elders in jujutsu society maintain such a strongly conservative hold on jujtusu society and reject new ideas, new cursed techniques, and are fine with killing children--because IT IS SANE TO MAINTAIN THE STATUS QUO.
Gojo says "fuck the status quo" and Gojo says "I will accept no matter who you are". this, in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen, is not sane. it is absolutely batshit crazy because it puts into jeopardy a lot of things that maintain the pillars of said society. And we see that especially with how quickly it all falls apart when Gojo isn't there to assert himself, his beliefs with his own power. Progress halts, people are killed, and the status quo resumes.
I think you've nailed a lot of points about Gojo here, but absolutely I think this is a big missed section. Gojo is strong not just because he's the Six Eyes, but he is strong because, like he told Megumi that one time, he is willing to risk death to achieve his goals. That? Is insane. And he tells his students to do the same.
"Dying to win and risking death to win are completely different, Megumi. Give it your best. Be greedier."
If someone ever says gojo is just a blank slate, it tells you they've never read hidden inventory.

How about Sukuna and his philosophy? "Why are you so weak? How can something that falls apart at a touch say that it wants to live happily? The weak have no choice but to swallow the suffering life throws at them." Sukuna only cares about strength but what are his motives? World domination? Anarchy? He says that he doesn't care about sorceres or curses he even ridicules the curses for banding together to try and have a world of only curses. But what got Sukuna like that? What happened? I feel like Sukuna is probably the most unknown character in the series cause even Kenjaku has a goal and that's just to evolve jujutsu sorcery to the next level and only because he finds it interesting. You could say he's like a scientist in a wah trying to push jujutsu sorcery to it's limits just to see how far he can get and what would happen. But Sukuna? The man is powerful as fuck but why? Why do you want to be so strong? What for? Maybe I'm dumb but I can't seem to figure out Sukuna. I love your videos because of the way you breakdown the story. It's very rational in my opinion. And I would love a video for Sukuna. Keep up the great work! I see nothing but fortune in your future!

Awww. most of his actins are a result of his broken friendship with Geto. As he realised how traumatised and broken Geto was due to the whole Toji event, only to have Tengen stabilise without even needing Riko Amani and also starting the mission without even wanting to sacrifice her like that... And also seeing the consequences of that, realising with time that he was so focused on his new abilities that he missed his friend stirring away from him and the Jujitsu world, cause he saw the evil in the world.... So "No one approves of massacres" cause he saw Geto do that and fail. And btw Geto and Toji's death mirror each other perfectly. And also Gojo keeps saying "no one can take the life away from young people", that's a huge remnant from the Riko Amani mission as both her life and Neto's life was warped. He also developed a moral understanding of his strength: when he was young he took it for granted, he took for granted the effect it had on others and on his best friend and the isolation it could have caused for him and everyone around him, he was arrogant about it, taking it as a given. But as he grew older and saw all the ramifications of his ascending, he realised that no one ever has to be left alone, that being the strongest alone is not good if you loose the most important people in your life. And he also he realised how flawed the system of the jujutsu high is. Even naming tried to get away from that system. That whole generation of sorcerers was like "Fuck jujutsu high man", ALL of them. He also saw the brutality of the Zenin family. He was just over the way things were handled. Instead of reacting with anger and trauma as Geto did (cause he was just a kid himself), he matured, even through the suffering he saw all around him. He did not experience it himself, as he is the strongest, but he suffered FOR THEM.

Gojo is self-aware of himself and the fallacies of his world system, he is told he is the strongest with that it's not just him the Six Eyes have been the strongest tool for centuries and recognized as such.
For secondary character he is wise to needing others versus the tug of war that goes on in the major clans for supremacy; he is not running rough shot over them, he even knows when to step aside even when his students are in a rough patch nearing death.
Overall Sorcerers are few, it's easy for humans to give rise to curses, Geto statement about Gojo to me its narratively both, there are ways to kill six eyes user developed and undeveloped, yet Gojo was able to avoid his death.

Gege has created an amazing universe here and it saddens me that it kinda feels like he is rushing the story. He could have flushed out this story to go so far.
Gojo, especially after his death, seems to be a hollow character on purpose. Ever since Toji thrashed Gojo and Geto, it ruined the mindset of the two. Then, after Toji's death, Gojo puts up a facade as the strongest as he is the enlightened one who is above all others. In his final moments, Gojo doesn't see himself as the man he became, but as a teenager surrounded by his classmates

His development isnt "Id win" his development is that he realized that he couldnt do everything alone, at least in the longrun, or that even if he could, he doesnt want to. Thats why he couldnt kill geto, thats why when kenjaku appeard he paralized, thats why he is putting all his effort in nurturing people with potencial. Gojo doesnt want to be alone at the top and not only he, in fact he doesnt want any other sourcerer to feel what geto and he suffered. The first instance was the villagers who torments children for being different,and the second were the worshipers of the folks who killed the star vessel and they qere clapping while Gojo was carrying her body out. Thems are not innocents.
