I think of it this way: for fighting Gojo it's Meguma. For fighting anyone else it's heian Sukuna.

This video made me realize that a 20F Yujikuna or Heian Era (pre-world slash) vs Gojo would’ve been a much more interesting fight. It wouldn’t have made sense for Sukuna to lose to Gojo with 10S. He was given the entire playbook, an adaption method that took most of the damage for him, experiencing UV for himself within Yuji’s body, being able to hide in the shadows, a Shikigami that can adapt to anything, that he can learn from, and a 1000 year old sorcerer telling him exactly how Gojo’s abilities work. He had plenty prep and all the counters needed to win.
Finally someone mentions it. People really seem to forget sukuna had a massive info advantage on gojo. Hence, sukuna had a game plan and gojo was just winging it.

When you realize that current sukuna has world slash only because meguna was able to create it using ten shadows.
We forget that if Sukuna fought Gojo without 10 shadows Gojo would have never got the opportunities to use black flash, infinite void, and other techniques. Sukuna would’ve never been injured trying to adapt Mahoraga and Gojo… as he did would’ve still lost his Domain and Sukuna would’ve kept his since he was never on the defensive. Gojo would’ve died to a domain expansion.

Illogical, the domain battles might have been a bit harder but that's all. Gojo would still lose the clashes but beat Sukuna enough to shut MS down. Gojo wouldn't die to the domain expansions which would be Heian Era Sukuna's and any version Sukuna besides the current one's win condition. That's crappy odds against the same guy that stated he needed Mahoraga to be the role model to bypass infinity and even that was near impossible to do. You guys need to think more. Also don't bring up what Gojo said in the afterlife to Geto because that's just how he feels.

You do realized heian era Sukuna would've had his two weapons. we've seen what lighting does to a person like Hakari, Kamtoke had an even bigger lighting strike and the only reason Kashimo didn't die was due to his electricity resistance. If Sukuna broke Gojos domain and used Kamotoke on Gojo he would've died instantly due to infinity not working inside of domains.@@levbiggs
It's a very easy question to answer. The narrator literally said the 4 arms form gives him an advantage over ANY sorcerer and then told us why - He is able to beat the breaks out of you, and also perform any of his techniques that are already powerful enough to one-shot you at the same damn time. Mahoraga isn't adapting from the shadows if his Sukuna gets slashed in half in the real world.
Issue with that is the Madoka deer has endless rct.
Also domain amplification would still work on the world slash.
So DA makes it a 3v1 against heian Sukuna, with agito, except Maho can't adapt for the brief instants DA is disabled.
So if Meguna times Kamutoke and lets Mahoraga adapt right as it hits, this means Heian Sukuna has no win cons left.
The world slash is deadly, but its not a be all end all

I have come to new evidence. The world slash definitely would kill Mahoraga since Sukuna's domain amplification can't overcome strong CT's like even a normal blue from Gojo.
And the world slash is definitely above that.
But yeah heian era Sukuna (no world slash) vs Meguna still goes to Meguma

The deer is not a counter to most things else it would've been used against Gojo in the fight. Instead it was fused into Agito.

I like to think Meguna is the utility build while the Heian era is the berserker build. against opponents that can't be brought down with brute force alone Meguna is superior, but Heian era can overwhelm his opponents with his strength and additional limbs.
He’s probably “stronger” per se in terms of power. But with ten shadows Sukuna is able to fight however he wants. He play defensive and stall you out like he did with Gojo and he can go fully on offense. He’s just way more tactical w ten shadow. Compared to Sukuna w full fingers that just gonna over power anyone. So in terms of would win I think it’d be 52/48 with a slight edge to ten shadows

I don't really think we can say. Since we don't even know the extent of Sukuna's technique, we don't even really know what it is, other than the Arrow and Dismantle/Cleave. But considering Gojo said during his fight with Sukuna that he was holding back, then I'd assume that the Shrine Form is stronger, because it seemed like Gojo considered Sukuna's domain expansions to be a bigger threat than Mahoraga.

That’s not what gojo meant by “holding back”. He was upset because sukuna didn’t use his whole arsenal but because of infinity anything else in his arsenal besides DE and 10’s (specifically mahoraga) couldn’t bypass infinity so sukuna had no choice but to hold back.

I think by the time Sukuna got Megumi's body, even tho its not stated, he had Nue inherit great snake, contributing to its massive size, the fact its tail turns into a snake, and Sukuna's Nue's eyes were similar to how Agito's were. Also, with him wearing the wheel, it was implied he can see through Yorozu's technique through the adaptation

Also it’s crazy that 10S allows you to hide in the shadows yet that usage is so incredibly underutilized by both Megumi and Sukuna.

Not really, sukuna has much more versatility with ten shadows.
Hien Sukuna may have technical advantages but that is nowhere close to having one of the best CT of series.
Only reason sukuna didn't instantly win against gojo was because limitless is a very complex technique so requires multiple spin.
He can use the wheel to gain unfair advantages like completely removing any case of domain and can spam domain expansion.
Again gojo managed to equalize that just because his domain was almost guaranteed victory, but mahoraga had already adapted and megumi's soul took the burden of uv.

Sukunas adaptation prob just him learning the opponents CT and plan the most effective way to counter it, just like he took the long way and steal mahoraga to counter gojo. He doesn't become immune to their attack like mahoraga does

But if I had to guess, it would be between 120%-130%. Which is a very good buff. But the ten shadows technique alone has already been established as being on the same level as unlimited, considering that Gojo himself said that Megumi could surpass him, and even gave the example of the two clan leaders who killed themselves in the past. So think, it's Sukuna, with all his skills, all his knowledge, cuts, domain expansion, fuga, and everything he hasn't yet shown + a technique that has already been established as being at an unlimited level of Gojo, being used with mastery by Sukuna. So no bro, it's not obvious which of the two versions is stronger, if it were there wouldn't be so much discussion.

I can see why this is a debate but the manga has made it pretty clear than True form is superior or more like given statements and feats that shows why og form is superior. U got the narrator saying that the extra arms and mouth are the BIGGEST advantage a sorcerer can have and its makes sense. Got better raw strength and a signifcant speed boost. While it may seem like Meguna is superior due to its versatility in abilities I feel like og form Sukuna just wins cause of the edge the above mentioned stuff gives him. I feel like I'm forgetting something might edit this later if I remember it. The strongest of an era called it perfection before getting manhandled and waffled.
Sukuna the strongest sorcerer in history has access to one of the two strongest abilities in history but the casting and extra arms are stronger okay, and he doesn’t get a speed boost he just recovered from Gojos attack
Yeah it's THE biggest advantage as we saw gojo and utahime were able to amp their ct's to 120% when they didn't skip any hand sign and incantations. Meaning in his true form all his ct's are amped up to 120%. It's no brainer why Kashimo called him "perfection"

Meguna is the best for fighting someone like Gojo or Takaba, who have very niche Cursed Techniques that can't be traditionally overwhelmed. But Heian is overall the best option. He's just overwhelmingly faster and offensively stronger in this form. Being able to do hand signs while chanting to strengthen his attacks WHILE he's beating the shit out of you is just way too strong. He hits harder with his bare hands than Mahoraga can (15F Sukuna was blocking punches with his fingers at some points in Shibuya)
Yeah heian sukuna too currently used 2-3 ce enhanced fingers as sword against yuta's sword.
Meguna is better only if he chooses to adapt and overcome a pesky ability
@@yuvraj..6741dude, yuta parried sukunas attack with his sword. Read the chapter again, it shows sukuna charging up an attack for yuta and he slashes his finger tip to deflect it.

Yeah, but no high speed, less ability in hand to hand, and no extra mouth. Gojo was winning hand to hand mostly because of speed, so this Sukuna would be at least as fast, if not faster than Gojo

I would personally give a slight edge to Meguna over Heian era sukuna because Meguna also has a one time use health replenishment other than RCT. We know that in the beginning of his fight with Kashimo, Sukuna resumed his incarnation into his prime body to heal himself without rct. That was a Meguna feat because prime sukuna does not have that ability in his bag

12:00 he told kashimo to dodge it even with that he arm was cut off so it's not like he shot and kashimo dodged it just like that and mahoraga was able to take gojo black flashes because it already adapted to blue(gojo enhances his punches with blue)

Like im assuming mohoraga has already adapted to the other shadows so is just a last ditch effort to not allow the opponent to live
The one issue I have with this is that Megkuna can freely switch between Shrine and 10 Shadows. Sure, he can't use both at the same time, but that is a massive advantage.
And thats the reason Gojo survived domain clashes. When he lost first two domain clashes his Limitless was temporarily down and he was using all his output for RCT to survive MS. Sukuna would've killed him with one high output Cleave but he wanted adaptation for calibrqtion of his CT. And in order to not cancel adaptation he didn't used his innate techniques other than whats granted to domain.

And if the attacks of MS powerful as your statement than why Gojo got one shotted when he increased his CE output to %120 for final hollow purple.

And also it is true that in manga it doesn't say %120 about Gojo's output. It says Gojo's output rises because of the two black flashes and incantations. And we know that a sorcerer can increase his/her output up to %120 with black flashes. So %120 was just a estimate and it may be muh more than that.
10S was just a way to learn to cut infinity just as he said that he used maho as a model to cut infinity, And in chap 238 it was stated that 2 extra arms + extra mouth is the greatest advantage a sorcerer can have

I think in this video we all forget that Sukuna can still use 10 Shadows. The reason he doesn’t imo is because the bond between the divine dogs and Sukuna may be soul related due to the amount of time the divine dogs were with Megumi. Now if this statement is false the final divine dog now has the power of all the other destroyed shikigami including mahoraga. Sukuna still has 10 Shadows and if needed he could still choose to sink into the shadows the only reason he doesn’t is because he is fully aware that he has no need to go on the defensive. Should he need to vs Yuta or anyone in the upcoming gauntlet we will see 10 shadows again. Assuming he chooses to use it over other techniques in his shrine.

i thought that the general sentiment was, sukuna only used meguna as a means to kill gojo tactically and that that was the only edge meguna had over heian. Meguna is just a tactical matchup to kill gojo efficiently and nothing more. Overall heian is just so overwhelmingly powerful that the tactical advantages meguna provides are negligible

Plus fire arrow, which has one shotted mahoraga before and would do it again. Then the speed and strength different in favor of Heien Sukuna. Only thing Meguna has is versatility, but all that versatility is lost when all the attacks are easily stopped.

It was the only way to win for Sukuna. Plot device to deveat Gojo, just like every single thing in JJK that counters Gojo. ISOH, Prison Realm, even Mahoraga. All those were immediately discarded seconds after they achieved their plot purpose.

It basically shows how broken Orihime could have been with Shun Shun Rikka with it being debatable if SSR is better. Mahoraga adapts to all phenomena whole SSR rejects all phenomena. We see it's so damn busted, it can fully resurrect someone, to being able to withstand Yhwach's attacks. What kept its offensive capabilities so low was Origime's lack of killing intent. All of her will and power came from her desire to protect people (also a great way to keep an otherwise broken ability from being well....broken lol).
But Mahoraga kind of shows what someone with the ability to literally reject ANYTHING from happening could be like.

That wouldn’t make sense, Sukuna tried to kill Gojo the moment he thought he had the advantage of him with the domain.
He can't use adaptation and DA at the same time is pauses which is why he held back from using DA in the tied clashes and reduced his own durability to speed up the adaptation process

I didn't think megumi sucuma is restricted in his schrine mode at all, besides his effiency, speed - number of slashes casted at once (due to his extra hands and mouths) but that he restriced himself, because he found out his slashes cannot cut thought infinity and so that he could trick gojo into beliving he need to use hand sights to cast them - like he did for fist time.
Now I think in his prime form his slashes can propably also be more devastating + casting speed and efficienty. Which still leads me to believe that meg.sukuna is suprerior. But I admit it would be fair to add weapons to prime sukuna, unfortunately we dont know much about them. Sukuna also seems to hide his abilities.

I would say he a little stronger. Gojo might be the only person doesn’t physically matter as much. For everyone else it makes fighting much easier for him especially if it’s multiple people. There are benefits say he wasn’t trying to learn from Mahoraga and had this form he drop a domain with hand signs and chants, that could have ended Gojo right there, he could add 80%-100% on 120% domain buff.

Be it dismissing shikigami right before gojo destroyed them and summoning them again for sneak attacks or partially using deer to heal himself, or using the shadows to misbalance gojo and create openings (*like megumi did to toji) or using the other shadows while gojo was busy with the 3v1 (*like using ce enhanced giant toads to halt gojo and use maho to attack + I didn't even mentioned the shadow divine dogs he used against yorozu)
Also about the final purple :
Sukuna could've used the shadows to hide himself or could've dropped a ce enhanced giant elephant to fall on top of the red to stop the purple instead of screaming maho + i don't know how piercing blood travels with the speed of sound yet gojo somehow got enough time to spell incantations before it reached the red, like Gojo's words are faster than speed of sound now. Only through Maharaga's example on how to bypass Infinity did Sukuna gain the world-cutting slash (stating himself he COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT without the wonderful model provided by Maharaga), thus elevating current four-armed Sukuna. World-cutting slash is the only thing actually putting Sukuna in ANY form above Limitless, so... yea; whatever version has the space-cutting slash wins, plain and simple.
If they were up against each other Megkuna would actually wreck Shrine Kuna for a few reasons. Mahaorga would be resistant to the slashes because he's made from Sukuna curse energy. He could see the slashes and adapt easily because of how simple the attack is. So Megkuna would have the advantage.

It wa confirmed by Gojo that Sukuna was fighting riskier just so Mahoraga could adapt.
Sukuna already cut Gojo up in the domain and was going hand to hand with him with domain amplification. Sukuna also tanked 2 amped purples where Mahoraga couldnt survive one. And then sukuna said he only needed Maharoga for a model to improve cleave. Even Gojo almost taking out Sukunas heart, lungs and liver didnt do anything and Sukuna was still alive.

Plus maybe you missed the point. Sukuna didnt need to cut through infinity to beat Gojo. After Sukuna cut up Gojo in the domain clash, all Sukuna needed to do was add fire arrow in the mix. Gojo cant heal with rct and prevent fire arrow with infinity at the same time. Even if he could, that would create enough of a distraction for Sukuna to easily blitz Gojo and rip out his heart with domain amplification.
You also cant complain about being a 3v1 when it's all part of the 10s technique and Sukuna is in a 5v1 now against Jujutsu high students

Sukuna in Megumi's body kind of has an unfair advantage with ten shadows because it can sacrifice Megumi's soul for Mahoraga's adaptation, under normal circumstances it's much harder to use Mahoraga. If it wasn't for that gojo could have one shot it.

Also, I think the fire arrow was something out of Yuji’s arsenal. That said I suspect Yuji’s cursed technique is Free Manipulation of cursed energy. This explains why he hasn’t used the fire or anything similar since, as well as explaining why Sukuna said that Kenjaku was ‘nasty’ when fighting Yuji and Megumi. Because the amount of skill it would take to master such a limitless ability is far beyond Yuji’s capabilities. at 6:40, that wasn't Nue, it was Nue + the great serpent totality, which is why its size is soo large. I'm not actually sure the size of Sukuna's summons are larger than that of Megumi's. The rabbits were the same size, and so was the elephant. Mahoraga seems to be larger, but i'd personally attribute that to inconsistent art from Gege.
I think technically the better question would be which is stronger pre world slash Sukuna vs Meguna because realistically speaking him with world slash basically allows him to one shot any shadow even Mahoraga

I'm pretty sure it's confirmed that maho doesn't keep adaptations from previous summonings. Otherwise, since he had already killed a limitless user, he would have been able to bypass infinity without the need for adaptation

One thing I was never clear on is whether Megumi-sukuna and Yuuji-sukuna can use their seemingly infinite mouths. We've seen Sukuna spawn an extra mouth randomly across his body multiple times (I recall seeing him bite a slash aimed at his neck? or something?) for various reasons. True sukuna has his extra mouth on his torso, but could Megumi-sukuna not viably have dozens of mouths open across his body for chanting purposes? In theory that should be helpful, even if it's a bit nerfed relative to true sukuna having the extra arms for hand signs.

I think they are fairly even, I think both forms extreme diff Gojo only both forms combined high diff Gojo. But in terms of strength its very hard to differentiate but I would say if we give shrine and world slash to just true form sukuna I think its probably stronger and the four arms are quite nice.
