WOW! The last 74!! When I got hired at AA in 1974 as a f/a before I made purser, I worked a 747 from LAX to JFK (Which was our RED EYE) and it was super cool! I never heard of Cathay Pacific until I got Hawaii flights and saw a lot of Cathay's jets at the tarmac. Most of them were 747;s DC 10's, (at least I think Cathay had 10's) and with me, I was able to fly in the 707, 727, and MD 80...Most of the over seas I was trained on the 777 or 767...AA phased out the 707, 727, DC 10, and 747. From what I saw in this video, holy cow! You did a great job. MANUFIQUE MSR!!!! Avoir bonn journee!!
Awesome video - thanks so much for sharing :) thoroughly enjoyed the way you captured the meal service in particular. So sad to see the 744 becoming a rarity these days - flying in the 'nose' like you did was always very special. Many greetings.

should have recording the pre-departure airport drop-off and airport pick-ups. It would make the whole flying business/first class experience footage complete. Good video anyway!
Hi again!! I think the best pre-departure lounge is that of United Arab Emirates.They are all designed for CLASS.Pre-departure food compliments the ambience.Cathay inflight becomes very different. The food looks EXCELLENT. The TURN DOWN service is the the great feature that makes Asian airlines highly competitive. It makes you feel very special. Another great trip Friscoaviator. Keep it coming!!! looking forward to seing your next posting.
Great flight,spoilt only by the second class service at SFO Airport. I can ever understand why the USA with its great record for customer service does it so badly at its airports and on its airlines.

By any chance did either you or your wife ordered an HNML as your special meal? It appears you guys got some stuff that were not on the menu (Lamb Curry, and Chicken Curry).

You confuse possessive with plural. It should read "Cathy Pacific flies..." and Cathay Pacific has the best first class products (not product's). Verb tense agreement and possessive vs. plural catches a lot of folks and it detracts from their presentations. Just a thought.
+Raymond Law They didn't buy the ticket, I flew First Class last week in Cathay from BKK to LAX and there was only one other person there and only 6 seats. I used 67,000 American Airlines miles to book each way. If you buy the ticket it was about $14,000 U.S dollars which is just insane! So like I said, this person used miles or was upgraded, nobody is paying that much money to fly in First Class!

Have flown Cathay Pacific from LAX to HKG, SIN, and KUL. Their Biz Class is also great. The lounges in HKG airport are much better than SFO.
