HiDef: Five Chimed Harmony-A Chase of the Reading and Northern NRFF!

On Thursday May 14, I ventured up to Reading, PA to chase the recently popular Reading and Northern NRFF (North Reading Fast Freight) from North Reading Yard to Pittston and back. I was not disappointed, as the train sported a trio of SD40-2's, the northbound leader, SD40-2 3058, being equipped with a classic RS5T horn. We'll chase the NRFF all the way up to Pittston and then back down til I ran out of daylight, now with P5 equipped SD40-2 3050 leading the way. I will definitely be chasing this train again in the near future, as the great sound, motive power, and speed provided for a great day of shooting. Very nicely done, Jared. Pity we didn't come across each other. In fact, when you made that shot at the private crossing, I was just up the street in New Ringgold proper. Nice to know I wasn't the only one chasing the NRFF that day.
