I can't count the number of nights I spent on this game; cranking through the campaign, setting up multiplayer alone, and fighting endless waves of bots; this game was my childhood. Who remembers the frustration of that sniper tho? The scope drift was hell to use; and everything else was wildly inaccurate. It was meant to be a counter to Halo, and while it faltered in that regard, it's still beloved by many. Thank you for sharing this, perfect thing to watch while snow comes down.
@Lesley-dp 😁 exactly. And that ISA rifle had those magic magazines- jungle taped together, you never replaced them; you just swapped one side to the other. Lol Glad to see MK actually play different characters to explore their unique paths- and pick up different weapons to showcase what they each do. Almost makes me want to go to an antique store and get a PS2 and an old Killzone disc just to relive those memories.
Man, I haven't seen that intro with Brian Cox in so many years but clearly remembered every word! And 2 decades ago (!) it really drew you into this violent world!
The intros are always amazing for Killzone. That said it's also the only Killzone where you can play as somewhat of an helghast including Killzone Liberation (Gregor Hakha, helghast half-breed). I wished we had at least one more Killzone game where we play as the helghast, but the devs never cared about it.
