LOVE IT! So glad to see someone had the _ _ _ _ _ to offer such a kit! Kudos to them!
Are you kidding? All industry does now is pump divide. It doesn't take full balls. Like in these kits, just halfs, if that.
i like how you spray the big parts . I always hand brush my camo. I do mostly WW2 aircraft 1/48 and 1/32. Good info thx!
Andy, as always a great job on the model and the video. This will be for sure on my build list. Thanks again for all you do for the modeling community.
Thanks, just ordered this. I was trying not to spend any money. Looks like this will be a good addition to my collection! thanks andy!
I'm a mil modeler in a slump. Did the Testors UFO years ago. I gotta build this one. Great work Andy.
great subject!! I would have loved to see the painted interior though
What an unusual model . looks awesome, great weathering. nice build Andy
did you notice the strange repeat and audio error at 13:34?
King Deotius ya
King Deotius yes I thought I went back in time.
a deja-vu....that is The Matrix , no ?
yep, just saw the same cat twice.
No...
immaculate and detailed rework and building it!
A very interesting and enjoyable kit, definitely a buy for me.
Amazing!!! great model...
Looks like a great kit gunna try to get one when there out. Also love all the weathering videos lately they've helped make my models look way better can't wait to see what's next
Great job, very well explanined, thanks for the tips
Sweet UFO model! Great job!
That was amaizing!!!Respect Andy.
great video , thank you , This looks like a really fun kit to build and paint .
I found a vendor who had this Squadron kit available in Nov of 2018. It was nearly $80.00 including shipping. Let's also give a shout out to Maria Orsic and the VRIL group along with Nicola Tesla who actually did build their own Saucer Craft and did, in fact, fly them. Werner Von Braun knew Orsic and her group.
if you aren't already aware, for more info go to gaia dot com and check their cosmic disclosure series of videos.
Yeah I almost died when he said " as if " about them being built! Those were held in place at the bases by the huge concrete pylons that are still there till this day. Tesla was a fkin genius and knew what was up after all he did invent the death ray and still think project looking glass is his design as well!
Hey thanks Lindsey i no Maria and Vrill group biult them, Vrill models and maybe the RFZ models also. But I wasn't sure if Tesla did biuld one but i thought he must have. He also did the Ray gun cannons they use.
Never happened a factious tale for sure no evidence whatsoever no proof never had the anti gravity technology . Maybe a ducted fan model but that's about it.
Andy I love the look of this kit. I plan on painting the bottom to a similar color you used. I am thinking about painting the top light gray sort of like the color on an F-16. You create some superb videos.
Wow its huge so many ideas definite mojo builder might have to get a few great review as always thank you
Unusual kit. I look forward to the diorama?!!! ;-)
I love this video, i would love it even more to see a huge range of modal's to build and start a collection :) great work!
Andy, great video! I got back into scale modeling because of your videos. I just got the 1/144 version of this from Pegasus. Looking forward to diving in! Keep up the good work.
Thank you for good hobby video!!
Good Job. Nice to see something different.
Thank you .
wow what a nice ship! i like the blue u stared out with. what a great ship!!!!!
that's awesome Andy cnt wait to see you make a dio for this
Beautiful job
this one looks very nice... could be an interesting kit..!
feelt like watching Iron Sky :) great job!
Another awesome job!!
I'm in love with this kit! The second it arrives at my local hobby shop, its MINE!
EXCEPT, I'm going to make the interior for 1:35 seated figures and I just may omit the weaponry?
But I will go German all the way!
Thats really cool model kit
Cool model
I bought this recently and it would have been a doddle to construct if the first two halves of the base (step 1) had not been warped. Lots of time spent with clamps and glue to get these parts to match up. I found other parts were difficult to fit, so Andy must have had kit number 1!!
Great job quite a kit
Great work!!!
Looks good I really like it.
Think you for showing this I just bought this kit today looking forward to building what thinner did you use to do your streaking
Hi Andy, great channel, love watching you videos. Oh, also anytime I use painters tape on my builds I stick it to my jeans first just to reduce the stickiness.
..omg..that's so cool! You did a great job! Is there a pattern to go by when doing Germany camo!
cool kit
that kit its masive😱 you do a realy nice work! i realy liked!!!
Should have subbed months ago love your vids Andy .... Your my Bob Ross of modeling
Really cool and very diffrent. I quite enjoyed it. Please do more 1:72nd scale stuff, fun with some variation in scale. :-)
Great video!
Good Job.
I LOVE this video! I really want this kit - But find it here in Brazil is something impossible
Nice video. I saw this kit in the Squadron catalog that came a couple days ago said to myself: self, I wonder if anyone will do a video build with this? Then here it is, thanks.
your welcome it was a fun kit to put together, thanks for watching
the fantasy of the german ufo ! reality becomes...............nice kit ! good idea - jy ;-))
should add this to war thunder.
should be a tier 7 or should have a mission were you can play as a haunebu 3 or a Kalinin k-7 which as I respect German and Russian vehicles would be fun as haunebu and k-7 are my favourites besides the tu-144 and fait g.91 ho 229 he 219 and the islander
It should be a helicopter
Jimok jack Boi my mans predicted the April fools from last year
Great job as always Andy keep it up
Thank you .
Your welcome
By the way have you ever built a ship? It would be nice to see you building one and the diorama you did with the star wars ATST was fantastic you should do more but its your choice on what to build whatever it is it will be great plus when you were painting the saucer and you were applying tape to give the different shapes you gave me some ideas for tank camo I don't usually follow the painting guide I prefer doing my own designs but you gave me an idea so thank you
Hi Andy,
firstly, I hope you have a Very Happy 2017, and you produced some great videos. I enjoyed watching this build even if it is not on my 'subject list. You seem to enjoy doing a few different subjects.
Cheers,
Les
Hi Les , Thanks, I do like doing different sometimes
someone else (cant remember which company) made one of these but it got taken off the shelves because the artwork showed it attacking Allied planes. Also the price varied from £30 to over £100 in the uk ?? crazy, love the channel subd.
cool UFO
Nick Boer Reichsflugscheibe!!!
Cool lookin' kit, even if slightly inaccurate; the Haunebu didn't have any guns. It was tried, but because of the electro-magnetic field around these things, aiming was impossible.
Great job. Hi from kiwiland
Reminds me of that 1960s TV show "The Invaders".
Nice job my friend ... how could you fill in the seam's on the hull on this kit?
das gut das really gut
GREAT Video! Fantastic build. Thanks for the tips on how to use and spray round the masking! 👍How did you end up displaying this? As it sits, the underside details, landing gear, ramp are hidden!
Holy cow! Judging by the size of that Sherman, the rivets on the Haunebu would be 4-5 inches wide at the head.
Great job as usual, Andy, and interesting subject, but I can't really look at that rivet detail without snickering. Even if they were aluminum, that would be thousands of pounds worth of rivet.
Does Haunebu mean "lead sled" in German? ;)
Yeah, giant rivets. Or screws. "hey, i need the 300mm wrench here!"
Like flying a bubble, no weight
Taking into account the excessive height of the consoles (1/72 crewmen must stand to operate then), it is my theory that the whole thing was planned to be 1/48 initially, and at some point they switched to 1/72.
@@danielkonrad1444I only got a 300mm screw driver bro
It's a great kit, fun too build, pure scifi, but yes originally scaled for 1/48 but moved to 1/72, whole cockpit and gang plank is set for 1/48
Andy- have you started on the spaceship scratchbuilt using the Takom Rainer? If so let's see the progress.
Its obviously that some people have only chosen to come here to leave a dislike without giving the video a single minute of their needle thin attention span wow how pathetic, great video fella I found it very satisfying to watch, many thanks
will tamiya, XF-86 Flat clear, work the same as the dull coat to lock in all the paint work instead? thnx
What is the streaking grime thing you use? I hae watched a bunch of your vids but never see it.
Squadron has a paint kit for this model now. it uses vallejo paint also.
Vrilly kewl ;)
Wouldn't the majority of the streaking go in the direction of the rotation of the ship while in flight? I imagine the only time they'd allow this thing outside is during flight. Like I'd have a clue... lol. Great job once again.
Since I was checking out you're online store may I ask if the Tamiya Panther G models will be back in stock?
Very Nice. I wonder how those guns were air tight? I also like The Bob Lazar Sport Model, Model.
ET models don't have guns on them?
Gigantic GAPS in the seams, it'll take a pound of filler, wont be buying this kit anytime soon, great work though Andy..:)
Nice video Andy. What is expected retail on the kit?
Very interesting build subject! Are you always at your store during your open times?
Max Welliver Yes he is, I've been there ;)
Reminds me of metal slug arcade games
Wasn’t there a Revell version of this that was pulled off the shelves?
It’s pretty rare and not cheap!
Beautifull model...but the rivets on the fuselage are sooo big to scale 1/72??
I would like to start air brushing. Got any tips for a newbie?
Squadron has it on pre-order for $80. Pretty cool subject.
Brian Gawelek , it's in stock now. $79.99.
what tamia paint should i use to make a base color on a crocodile churchill?
Aperently this model was the one that was being attached to the antartica theory which was being theorized to fight the us navy and 3 of this kind was spotted and it was on operation highjump
Hi was just wondering what color of green you are using what is the number on the bottle thanks
15:13 What does "spray towards the top" mean?
I wish this kit would be UP-SCALED to 1/48 scale!
WOW :) what can I say :) Iron Sky ;)
Wow
A 1/4 model would fit into my back yard...
Andy, what colors did you use to paint this model?
Отличная модель.
Hey Andy whats the difference between this SQM001, and the alien invaders kit SQM003?
People should give more credit for that design to Adamski, who based his models on a chicken brooder lamp . . .
did Andy repeat the part abot green paint or was i abducted by a UFO
If it was me i would custom fit the shell of that ufo kit to an rc drone
i hope you do know washes are applied on gloss surfaces and not thinner on matte coats.
👍👍👍
Looks to me like Squadron went overboard on the rivets. In 1/72 scale those rivets would be the size of basketballs. You wouldn't even see the rivets as they would have used flush rivets not button head rivets. The builder did a nice job considering what he had to work with.
Is the top gun meant to be a turret or is it just forward firing only?
Here's a tip, instead of speeding up an entire paint process, just keep the speed at 100% but use dissolves between the shots.
Also mute or unlink the video from the audio tracks and eliminate the audio. You won't get that weird audio sound.
Your store is my dream house
I took a Bosten lantern ( advertized on tv) apart and made a hanebu
It’s har to imagine that this actually fly
