Fantastic tones (and playing) in my opinion. I’m pretty sold on it, especially for the price.
Capturing this thing does the best.But amps model in it are nothing more than Amlitube 5 quality.Not for me.
Still full of aliasing artefacts but it’s good enough for small venues
You must have golden ears, because some of the captures I have tried are stunning - easily as good as my Axe FX III. I think the in-built captures are a bit hit and miss, but some of the third-party captures are amazing. It needs hi/lo cuts adding to the ‘Cab’ section, but otherwise it’s almost perfect for the £400 outlay.
Sam, what pickups are in that Ibanez? I’m not a huge fan of the Ibanez/Duncan ‘Hyperion’ set in mine, looking to switch them out at some point.
@@dver4624hey, these are some custom low output paf style and classic singles made by my mate at Eternal guitars. Certainly make it sound a little more alive than the stock az pickups. I wanted lower output and a bit more of a clearer sound.
@@dver4624 Does the unit have these hi/low cut options within the cab settings? I have not found anything about this topic in the user manual and it's crucial for me to decide buying it
@@dver4624 this guy is well known on most guitar related forums. In a nutshell, he's obsessed with aliasing, whether it's Tonex, NAM or whatever.
These “strat-ish” Ibanezs all have dead horrible sound. It doesn’t make sense which amp they putting in.
Okay? Don’t buy one…
I tried a few of them, they were all sterile... Idk
