  • Summer Health Professions Education Program is a summer pre-health internship that is designed to help undergraduate students who are at a disadvantage a kick start into a healthcare profession. Disadvantaged meaning a student who is underrepresented in the healthcare field, a minority, first generation in their family to go to college, someone at a socioeconomic disadvantage. This program levels the playing field to help students make their dreams come true.
If you fall into one of these categories and are thinking about going into a healthcare career, then I highly encourage you to look into this summer internship.
SHPEP is for Undergraduate students who are rising Sophomores or Juniors and are interested in a number of Healthcare fields: Medicine, Dental, Public Health, Nursing, Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant, Pharmacy, Veterinarian, etc.
SHPEP is a once in a life time opportunity to get clinical experience that you will not find anywhere else. Stay tuned for future videos!
