Black Excellence in its immaculate form! Love to see all these future beautiful melanated health professionals! I bet it smells so good in there- like cocoa butter, black soap and success! Keep it up and I look forward to hearing more about everyone's experience. Shout out to that beauty sitting in the middle !
Great video! I love how y’all were actually real with you guys experiences. As someone who is currently struggling with orgo in my undergrad, tryna to go to PA school, you guys offered a lot of perspective on things and allows me to realize that everybody struggles in some way, but how you react to that adversity really shows who you are.
The video was great! thanks so much for sharing that information. I'm a sophomore planning on applying to SHPEP this summer coming up, but I'm worried about if my GPA is high enough. What were yall's stats when yall got accepted?
Hi Jaden, I'm glad you enjoyed the video! At the time of my application I think I had like a 3.3 GPA or very likely even less. As important as your GPA is, it isn't the defining factor to your acceptance into the program! The support of your personal statement as well as extracurriculars are definitely what're going to help you stand out as an applicant! Contact me if you have any further questions, you def got this! :)
Also shout out to Kimberly A. and her “SHPEP Q&A” video in 2019 which definitely inspired the making of this video!
