  • You launched... Flew around... And now you need to land...
    AHHHH, scary I know!
    I remember my first flight.
    I was so nervous to land I almost ran out of gas...
    I didn't want to come down!
    Maybe I was having too much fun.
    But I had too.
    You have to land at some point.
    But there is good new!
    Landing is actually really easy! And FUN!
    I explained a few good ways to land and what to look out for!
    Enjoy!
    Oh and remember to pull brakes before you hit the ground... That's what they are there for!

    Glad I found this video as I just figured out how to take off and I've been circling the LZ with no idea how to land.

    Good video man. I've been through a few super training sessions. You helped me out with some good kiting tips. Just found you had your own channel so I subscribed. I just ordered a ninja and it's coming tomorrow. Can't wait.

    Is this stage wise brake pull for EN-A wings or Reflex wings or for both. I am a beginner and about to use A wing which I heard is pulled gently fully down just after reaching 4-5feet above the ground.

    It's a flat top with a dominator... you don't need to land. You can just fly it into the ground and be OK

      Over here, we call it a "fkf" landing, which means feet-knees-face landing. I'm a professional in this one hahaha.
      As a bloody beginner, I will go for the 1st type for a couple more landings I guess. Don't wanna destroy my body or equipment.
      Happy landings from Germany

    But don't the fancier landings take more space to land? If you've got limited space you'd want to use the beginner way, right?

    How would I choose between you or Dell as my instructor?

    • @TrevorSteele1
      @TrevorSteele1  2 года назад +3

      Go to Dell if you want to learn to kite.
      Come to me if you want to learn to fly.
      Go to Dell if you are only considering a Flat Top and Dominator.
      Come to me if you are considering anything else under the sun.
      Go to Dell if you like loud, abrasive, in-your-face, and borderline rude instruction.
      Come to me if you'd like calm, collected, and catered to you instruction.
      Dell's a great instructor and like everything in this world, he has his pros and cons. He is some people's cup of tea, and not other people's cup of tea.

    Thanks for explaining this delicate process of landing. What if under you dense shrubland and you can not skim the surface of the ground? Here in California this is super common.

    • @kjjosker
      @kjjosker 4 года назад +1

      in California you probably have to worry more about needles and human feces.

    You didn't say how to land the way Dell did while I was at training. He came in sideways with no power. It was cool. He said something like a ghost land or something like that...

    • @TrevorSteele1
      @TrevorSteele1  4 года назад +1

      You are correct! This is a very different way of landing a paramotor and NOT one we have new students do! This way is for people who have experience landing and want to try something a little cooler :)
