Good model, if u keep it inside a shed or garage it will tend to not build rusty growth where u can't see it! Inside the cable assembly cover, hence, not the steel cable itself! Inside is where u can't see until it breaks.
Hey this is a good one Mike. I worked on this exact model mower over the winter for a guy at my job. His needed a new carb. No matter what I tried with his original carb it just would not run consistently. Once I put a new one on and adjusted the cables just a little bit she ran like new. A bit of an over complicated machine but hey it's a Honda😄
@@PNWSmallEngineandLawn it came in today and seems to be longer than it should be. even with the nut adjusted all the way up on the bracket. the wire has alot of slop.
@@albertjordan2244 I don't, sorry. Though I just replaced mine yesterday. Once I figured out how it connected, I was able to do it but it's a very tight space and I don't think the camera could get in there. I'll try to take a video explaining what I did for you.

There are two pins that get removed when you take out the cable. Can you show a better view of the cable as it attaches to the lever end of the mower?
I can. I have another one that needs some work so I will be removing the clutch. I will get in closer
I can push my yellow roto stop button and it engages up until about 1/2 way releasing handle.I just changed the cable
Could be the handle mechanism itself or the clutch is getting worn out
Is this the clutch or rotary cable? On mine, this looks like the rotary cable
